Overview
This villa seamlessly combines Balinese chic with authentic Malibu style poolside living. Enveloped by green vegetation, the villa has been designed with organic architecture to harmonise with the environment.
In the lounge area, stylish grey sofas are scattered with patterned cushions and the walls are adorned with eclectic art. The influence of the archipelago runs through the veins of the property - it has been tastefully decorated with fine furnishings and accentuated with authentic Balinese and Javanese artefacts. Look up to the statement curly wooden art piece on the ceiling.
There's a flat screen television for when you need to unwind, while floor to ceiling windows ensure the villa is a sun-soaked haven to return to. The well-equipped kitchen has all the mod cons for self-catering and even a wine cooler!
Ascend the staircase to reach the master bedroom, which evokes a palatial feel. A king size bed dressed in fine linen and a colourful bedspread await you, with a black and white art piece of a traditional lady drawing your attention to the fresh white walls. The ensuite bathroom has a luxurious double rain shower. Continue upstairs to the rooftop terrace, where you can get a bird's eye view of the Indian ocean while you enjoy a refreshing cocktail.
All three bright and fresh guest bedrooms are on the ground floor, with a myriad of colour schemes running throughout. These rooms have split king size beds for extra flexibility. In total, this villa can sleep up to eight people. Guest bedrooms also have ensuite bathrooms with double vanities and rain showers.
The deep azure pool is encircled by a manicured lawn, oversized tropical leaves and an enormous painting of sacred Japanese koi fish.
Admire the dark volcanic stone wall and listen to the zen water features as you enjoy a relaxing swim, surrounded by swaying palm trees. At night, the pool is beautifully illuminated and the whole villa is bathed in a warm glow. When you're finished, soak up the sun on the comfortable sunbeds with a refreshing cocktail in hand.
What you should know…

- Each villa has its own discreet private entrance, so as not to disturb others when coming and going
- As most guests prefer to eat out at this villa, a private chef does not come as standard, although this can be arranged for an additional fee
- The stairs have gaps in between, so guests with mobility issues or small children may not want to stay in the master bedroom

Location
About the surrounding area of xVilla VidaThis villa is nestled between enchanting Batu Belig and chilled out Berawa, mere moments from an incredible beach. Around the corner is a beautiful, natural lagoon dotted with colourful outriggers, ready for night fishing. Close to all of Canggu's amenities and unparalleled views of sweeping rice terraces, guests at this villa will be located in one of Bali's most desirable hotspots.
Berawa beach has an irresistible laid back atmosphere - it's great for those who love surfing as there are some challenging breaks along with the long beach break. With striking black volcanic sand and panoramic views of the Indian ocean, Berawa is particularly lovely at sunset. Locals and tourists gather at the beach clubs to watch the sky light on fire from the comfort of a bean bag.
Batu Belig also has bewitching black sand - the beach is known for being family-friendly and chilled out. While the waves are too strong for any serious swimming, grab a body board to ride the waves. Echo Beach is also a short drive away, which also has excellent surf and famous nightly beach barbecues.
Canggu is surrounded by evergreen rice paddies that stretch as far as the eye can see. A great way to experience the lush landscape is by bicycle - take a trip down the Shortcut, which is a beautiful path through the plantations. Just be careful when you move to the side to let others pass, or you might end up in the locals' book of falls! Other lovely areas to cycle around the rice terraces are Pererenan and Seseh.
The villa is just a few kilometres north of Seminyak, Bali's premiere upscale beach resort. A playground for jet-setters, fashionistas and yogis, it's full of fashionable boutiques where you can shop til you drop. Seminyak has an excellent nightlife, atmospheric cocktail huts and superb sundowners at beach clubs.
You'll be spoilt for choice when you stop for a snack in Canggu or Seminyak. Pick up some local treats from a warung, or take your pick of the wildly popular array of quirky cafes. Healthy smoothie bowls are available in abundance, as are world-class menus of international fare.
Bali is known as the 'Island of the Gods' and is home to countless enchanting temples. Magical Pura Petitenget embodies Balinese spirituality and is a significant link in the series of temples along Bali's west coast between Pura Uluwatu and Pura Tanah Lot. The temple has twelve shrines and an impressive dragon staircase that leads to an expansive courtyard. Every evening, there are temple ceremonies on the beach and traditional dance displays.
Bali Equestrian Centre is a must for horse lovers - whether you're a keen rider or want a taster riding lesson, this world-class centre has got you covered. Take a beach ride, weaving through the powdery sand, or visit a local village.
Finn's Recreation Club is very close to the villa and is bursting with activities for the whole family Boasting a water park with thrilling slides popular with kids and adults alike, a state of the art gym, blissful spa, vast tennis court and boxing arena, there's something for everyone here!

Kids
Best Suited For: All AgesKids will have a great time at Finn's Recreation Club - there's an enormous array of activities they can get stuck into and learn a new skill. There's a dedicated Kids Club and Junior Sports Academy and the immensely popular Bounce Trampoline park. Plus, if they haven't had enough fun splashing around at the villa, the water park has enough slides to keep them entertained all day.
Bali's beaches are always popular with children - they'll love the novelty of strolling along a black sand beach just metres from the villa. While Berawa Beach is a family-friendly place for kids to be, it's not a great place for swimming as the waves can be rough. Beaches in the Sunar area such as Green Bowl and Jimbaran Bay are better for swimming and snorkelling. Mini surfers can take lessons from one of the many surf clubs dotted around the Canggu area.
Bali Treetop Adventure Park in Bedugal, close to Lake Bratan is an ideal day trip for those with little ones in tow. An adrenaline-fuelled park with five adventure circuits, the heights vary from 2m to 20m. Kids will love flying through the trees on the Tarzan jumps and soaring along 12 exhilarating flying fox ziplines.
The Bali Equestrian Centre is also excellent for a day out for children of all riding abilities. Children can take lessons or go for a pony ride through the Canggu countryside. The instructors are well versed in teaching children - they're bound to fall in love with riding.
The villa can be kitted out for children as baby cots, high chairs and monitors can all be rented from the property, meaning parents won't need to bring everything from home.
