Those planning a great British staycation this summer needn’t make their four-legged friends ruff it in the kennels because, here at Oliver’s Travels, we are extending our five-star treatment to man’s best friend… From doggie pamper days to culinary experiences from expert chefs, our ‘It’s A Dog’s Life’ Experience certainly has the bow-wow factor! Let our team transform your already dog-friendly cottage into one that excels in creature comforts, including a luxury dog bed that provides your four-legged friend with all the comfort and warmth they need for a good night’s sleep. Your pooch will also be treated to a top-of-the-range feeding station and be able to snuggle down to watch a spot of TV on their own woof-friendly couch – Marley and Me, anyone? Dog walkers and sitters will be at the ready too, should you decide to spontaneously hit the town for a night. Our expertly-curated ‘It’s A Dog’s Life’ Experience offers a range of unique and luxury services, perfect for every dog and their owner:
Get yourself looking the ‘best in show’ with this decadent pampering experience! You will be treated to having your locks expertly cut and coiffured in a style of your choice, an aromatherapy massage and both a mani and pedicure. Your dog will enjoy the same luxury treatment, having a shampoo, massage, blow-dry, and freshly trimmed nails – divine!
For ultimate comfort – and style, you and your four-legged friend can stretch out and relax in matching silk pyjamas and robes, which can be embroidered with your initials by an expert seamstress for that extra little touch.
Enjoy an amazing gastronomic experience in the comfort of your luxury cottage. A private chef will prepare and serve a 5* tasting menu of your choice, which will be expertly paired with the finest wines. The talented chef will also create a pooch-friendly version of the high-class menu for your four-legged friend.
This wine tasting experience is the perfect way for guests to relax on the patio under the starry night sky – or on the sofa! – and sample some of the finest wines around. Their four-legged friend will be able to indulge in a bowl of ‘Pawsecco’, a healthy, herbal infusion of Elderflower and Nettle that is great for coats and skin.
Enjoy an afternoon tea with your dog in the grounds of your holiday cottage. Sit back and take in your surroundings whilst sipping on the finest tea and coffee and your dog enjoys a ‘puppuccino’ – mini sandwiches, fondant fancies and delicate dog-friendly biscuits included. Bone appétit!
Packing for a holiday can be rather stressful and we’ve all heard the saying about the kitchen sink… so cut the stress and enjoy our personalised shopping experience. You and your pooch will be kitted out with a high-end wardrobe that is stylish enough for the cover of DOGUE: think raincoats and wellies for jumping in puddles, knitted jumpers for sitting by the fire and matching bathers for doggy-paddling at the beach.
