Stretching from the Scottish Borders down to Wales, it’s already clear (even to those who haven’t actually visited this region) just how beautiful the North West Coast Path is, sandwiched between two gorgeous countries known for their natural beauty. But this region of England is no stranger to outdoor adventure, home to the Lake District, Whitehaven and Piel Castle. Not much of this section is open yet, but each year more and more sections of the England Coast Path will be open to the public with the view of joining up to create one huge trail!
