Before you commence your journey you will need Turkish lira to pay for the car park and the tunnel toll. It costs under £1 for a car.
Exit the car park and drive along the airport perimeter
Continue along the dual carriageway until you reach the traffic lights and a small roundabout in the centre of Dalaman
Continue along the dual carriageway until you reach the next roundabout and traffic lights
Turn right following the signs forFethiye and Antalya
This major road takes you across Dalaman Delta and mountain scenery
Further on you will come to the Gocek tunnel, go through it.
Continue along the dual carriageway, passing Gocek. The road begins to climb over the mountains with impressive views of the Gulf of Fethiye.
After the mountains the road travels along a coastal plain and you will see signs for Yaniklar, Kargi and Ciflik.
Turn right off the main road at the traffic lights and follow the signs for Olu Deniz and Cails Plaji
Continue on the main road through traffic lights and mini roundabouts. Keep going until you come to major junction with traffic lights and a large Migros supermarket on your left. Turn right, sign posted Sehir Merkazi (centrum)
Drive down the dual carriageway, through the traffic lights, (one way single carriage now.)
After 200 m take the second road named Kaya Caddesi
At the crossroads drive straight across and bear right at a small junction following signs for Kaya Koyu
You will pass a tomb in the middle of the road. Keep going straight up the hill and take the road to the left, ( take care here) follow signs to Kaya Koyu and Karmylassos. You are now climbing up the mountain towards Kaya.
Stay on this road for 5.4km and you will come down into the valley and Karakeciler village.
As you come to the bottom of the hill and you will see the karakeciler sign and 150m after that you will a junction and a mosque on the left. Turn left, you will also see a sign for Musafir Evi. Drive alone for 250m. You will see a very high wall on the left hand side and a ramp a little further on which leads to villa rustem. It is a tight left turn.
Baris will be waiting to greet you so it’s very useful if you keep in contact via WhatsApp to guide you in. If you can send baris a blank WhatsApp message on the number above, he will send you a location map if you like.

Please contact the owner with your flight details/arrival time at the property prior to departure.
The owner will require all travellers' passport details to register with local authorities on the first day of your stay. This is a normal requirement in Turkey.

It is traditional in Turkey not to wear shoes inside. Please leave them in the hall
Refuse
There are metal bins on the bottom road, turn right as you leave the ramp and it’s 50m away. Please take your rubbish there every day. Please do not leave outside the villa as animals will open the bags and this encourages vermin. Do not leave rubbish in the villa as it causes ant problems and cover your bread etc.
Pool
The pool pump is on a timer. Do not touch any of the pool switches. Get in touch with Baris if you have any concerns. The pool will be cleaned when needed. Children should be supervised at all times. Please also bear in mind surfaces can be slippery and you should not run or dive.
Bus Stop
Turn left at the bottom of the ramp and walk to the top road, the bus stops at the top of the road and goes to Fethiye via Hisoranu. You need to change for Olu Deniz.
Shops
There is a bakery and a stall selling fresh fruit and vegetables in the centre of the village next to the tea house. Thete us also a butcher. There are a few local stores which sell most things.
Money changing
Can be done in Hisoranu, Fethiye and Olu Deniz where there are change offices. There are also ATMs
Smoking.
The villa is non smoking
Sun bed cushions and chair seats
Please remember to take these in at night or stack them so no animals can get onto them. Please do not put the sun bed mattresses in the pool, they are not waterproof and end up soaking wet and smelly. Also please take inside if rain is forecast at any time
Roof Terrace.
This is a wonderful place to take the rays and admire the magnificent views. Care should be taken as it is a long drop down. We do not accept responsibility for anyone falling off the roof. Please try and take the cushions and sun bed mattresses inside if it looks like rain.
Air con
Please turn off the air con when you are not in the villa or on the roof. These units should not be run 24/7 they need cooling periods so they don’t overheat.
Restaurants.
There are numerous restaurants in the valley to suit all pockets. Casper’s in the centre of the village is a good place for local food and snacks. More upmarket is the lesbessos wine house which does a fabulous Turkish breakfast or Gunays Garden. Some will pick you up and bring you home, just call in and ask. Baris will also help you to make reservations.
Taxi
There is a taxi call point over the road, we also have a local taxi driver who does favourable rates please ask Baris.
Security
Please lock the villa when you are on the roof terrace or go out. It is also a good idea to hide passports, electronic devices etc, or use the safe.
Water
This is a very precious commodity in the summer season. Please use sparingly
Electric cuts
Please do not be alarmed if the electric goes off. This does happen in the valley. If it fails to come back on please ask Baris to assist. The immersion heater switch is in the mains box, please make sure you don’t put it on by mistake. It needs to stay off

There is sometimes an interruption in supply and will not be available during a power cut.
Linens and towels
When you leave the villa please leave your wet towels in the bathrooms. Please do not use bathroom towels by the pool. There are pool towels available.
If you are using sunscreen P20 brand please make sure you shower it off well. It permanently marks white sheets and towels if there are traces on your skin.

Travelling to Turkey
All British (and most other nationalities) citizens require a full 10 year passport with at least 6 months validity to enter Turkey. UK passport holders are exempt from visa for tourist visits of up to 90 days within 180 days starting from the first entry date. For all other passports please visit the Turkish Government Website or the Turkish Consulate for details of whether you require a visa or not.

Whilst in Turkey local regulations require you keep your passport and a printed copy of your e-visa with you at all times.

Other 2 In Turkey the plumbing system is not designed to have paper and sanitary items flushed down the lavatory. In these cases a bathroom bin is provided.
End of stay cleaning included? End of stay clean is included in the price.
Internet access? The property has complimentary Wifi connection. It is good to note that the speed is dependent on local provider and technical issues may cause reduced speed or cut of service.
Insurance It is recommended that all guests take out insurance to cover against potential cancellation, personal accidents and any accidental damage caused during your stay at the property.
Smoking Allowed? Sorry, smoking is not allowed inside the villa.
