Silas Townhouse is a charming and elegant Georgian townhouse located in Bath, England. Built in approximately 1744 by the city's founders, John Wood the Elder and James Leake, this stunning property combines period features with modern comforts across its five floors.
As you arrive, the double-fronted house boasts a beautiful facade and retains many original details, including panelled walls, high ceilings, a walnut winding staircase, exposed brick chimney hearth, beams, and fireplaces. These features create a sense of the splendour enjoyed during the Jane Austen era, while still providing contemporary luxuries.
The townhouse comfortably accommodates up to ten guests in its five bedrooms. The bedrooms are well-appointed, with two single beds in each of the first three bedrooms and one double bed in each of the remaining two bedrooms. There are also four bathrooms, including an en-suite with a shower on the first floor, two bathrooms with bathtubs and showers on the second floor, and a toilet on the lower ground floor.
