Rissington Hill House holds a wonderful location in the very heart of the Cotswolds, close to a variety of picture-postcard villages with caramel-coloured stone cottages, winding lanes and ancient pubs. Stow-on-the-Wold, Bourton-on-the-Water and Burford are all within a fifteen-minute drive making this the perfect option for those looking to truly explore the area.
Set on a secluded farming estate on the edge of the village of Great Rissington, the house offers guests privacy and tranquillity, while a huge selection of excellent amenities and attractions are within easy reaching distance. The accommodation is spread between the impressive manor house and the rustic stables, both have been recently renovated and today seamlessly combine their original charm and character with upgraded, luxurious interiors. In the main house there is plenty of room for the whole group to come together and socialise with a number of entertaining rooms including a large drawing room, sitting room, a formal dining room as well as a fully-equipped kitchen with all the tools guests could possibly need to whip up a delicious meal. On the first floor are the first of the bedrooms, a double room and a single. Upstairs are the remaining four bedrooms, three with king-size beds and one twin, each boasts en-suite facilities.
Outside, the large grounds are beautifully maintained with large lawns ideal for games or for children to explore. There are numerous seating areas, ideal for relaxing with a refreshing beverage after action-packed days spent exploring the fabulous Cotswolds.

- One of the bedrooms on the ground floor is a single room and so is perhaps best suited for an older child or teenager
- There is a water feature in the garden and so small children should not be left to explore alone

About the surrounding area of Rissington Hill HouseRissington Hill House is situated in between some of the most iconic Cotswold towns and villages, Stow-on-the-Wold, Burford and Bourton-on-the-Water are all easily reachable in less than 15-minutes. The closest pub, The Lamb Inn, can be reached on foot, while further helpful amenities can be found just minutes away in surrounding villages. The famous Daylesford Organic Farm with its award-winning farm shop is 20-minutes away while uber-cool Soho Farmhouse is just 40-minutes away.
There are plenty of things for the whole family to see, do an explore in the surrounding area. Adam Henson’s Cotswold Farm Park with its variety of rare breeds and with an adventure playground, farm safari, maze and jumping pillows, it is a must-visit for those travelling with children and is just 20-minutes away. Bourton-on-the-Water, just 15-minutes away, is home to a selection of excellent attractions including, The Model Village, Cotswold Motoring Museum & Toy Collection and Birdland Park & Gardens, home to Flamingos, Pelicans, Penguins!
A wide variety of historic properties are within 40-minutes of Rissington Hill House, including: Chastleton House & Gardens, Broadway Tower, Snowshill Manor & Gardens, Hidcote Manor Gardens, Sudeley Castle & Gardens and Blenheim Palace. The medieval market town of Stratford-upon-Avon internationally famed for being the birthplace of Shakespeare, is less than a 50-minute drive away making it an ideal choice for a fantastic day out. For those that enjoy a little hustle and bustle, Oxford is 45-minutes away, while Cheltenham and Cirencester are both less than 40-minutes away. For the shopaholics, Bicester Village, home to a huge variety of designer brands, is a 50-minute drive away.

Fantastic
Fantastic place, huge huge home perfect for family gatherings or lots of friends - would highly highly recommend it. The housekeeper Alex was an absolute gem, Ben and Laura were fantastic and we got to feed the lambs! This was just a magnificent vacation.
