  • An incredible place to stay

    on 01/10/2023

An incredible place to stay with welcoming and accommodating hosts who go out of their way to help you. The House was spotless, cosy and well furnished Beautiful architecture, grounds and local vistas with plenty to explore. Perfect for outdoorsy people or someone looking for a quiet weekend away. My friend was so impressed he's considering having his wedding there. Would highly recommend!

  • Everything about our trip here was phenomenal.

    on 01/09/2023

Everything about our trip here was phenomenal. The hosts were lovely, and the location was idyllic. I couldn't imagine staying anywhere better than this, we had such a wonderful time here and wished we could have stayed longer! We're hoping to come back again next year, potentially even making this an annual holiday. The House was beautifully decorated and incredibly clean, with all the cooking equipment you could need for your stay and high-end appliances. The bedrooms were very comfortable, and we had a lovely restful sleep and awoke to bird songs in the morning. You can watch the sunset across the reservoir from the front of the house. And, to top it all off, the bathrooms are out of this world, one bathroom has 2 baths and one has this beautiful spa bath and rainfall shower, with the water from the local area making your skin and hair feel incredibly soft. This location is not to be missed. I'm sure that reservations will start filling up extremely fast for this hidden gem. We had the most fantastic time. Thank you again for sharing your superb location! And all of your hospitality during our stay!

  • Would come back in a heartbeat - thank you!

    on 01/08/2023

I can’t recommend this listing enough - we couldn’t believe our eyes when we arrived (even better than the pics!). Everything about our stay was perfection, from the stunning location and views, to the gorgeous interior and unmatched hosting. It was amazing to be able to roam free in the grounds and eat meals outside. There are so many beautiful walks in the peaks at your front door. The house was also impeccably clean and had everything we needed, I’d say the bathrooms are a particular highlight. In terms of dinner in the nearby Hayfield, I’d recommend ‘the pack horse’ and ‘colosseo’ which are a ten-minute drive away. Would come back in a heartbeat - thank you!
