Beach Bay Cottage makes a wonderful base for those wanting to explore the beautiful North Devon countryside. Beach Bay’s location within the heart of the village of Croyde makes it an ideal choice for families who wish to be within a short distance of a range of excellent amenities including restaurants, pubs and shops as well as close to some of the region’s best beaches, including Croyde, Saunton Sands and Putsborough.

The cottage has been lovingly modernised with contemporary interiors which are complemented with effortlessly chic furnishings. Beach Bay can comfortably accommodate up to ten guests across its four well-appointed bedrooms making it an excellent potion for two families holidaying together. Please note however, that a maximum of six adults can be accommodated.

On the ground floor is the main living space which comprises of a lounge area with cosy corner sofa and wood burner, perfect for snuggly evenings after long days spent on the beach! Also on this level, is the fully-equipped kitchen and dining area. Upstairs, on the first floor is the first of the double bedrooms as well as two of the family bathrooms. On the second floor, is the master double bedroom which boasts en-suite bathroom, as well as a bunk bed room, perfect for younger guests! On the third floor, is the final double bedroom  and family bathroom.

Outside, the terrace makes the perfect spot for the whole family to gather on a warm evening, cook up a storm on the barbecue and enjoy a meal al fresco. The hot tub makes a fabulous addition for those who are really in need of a long soak and some rest and relaxation!

Beach Bay Cottage holds a fantastic location in the village of Croyde, perfect for those wanting to explore the wonderful North Devon region. The cottage allows guests to have easy access to a range of helpful amenities, including shops, restaurants and pubs.

For beach bums or keen surfers, North Devon has a beautiful coastline with a selection of award-winning beaches, with golden sand and clear water to choose from. Woolacombe is arguably one of the most popular, a family favourite which is ideal for surfers and is just a 15-minute car journey from Beach Bay Cottage. Closer to the cottage, Croyde and Saunton Sands are both excellent for swimming while Croyde Bay, has been rated one of the best surfing beaches in the world and so is ideal for the more experienced surfers.

For those who prefer to stay on land, North Devon also makes an ideal location for both walking and cycling. For those on foot, there are remarkable coastal paths to enjoy, while Exmoor National Park is just 30 minutes from the Beach Bay Cottage and offers a variety of routes for both experienced walkers or those who simply prefer a short stroll. For cyclists, the Tarka Trail forms part of the Devon Coast to Coast Cycle Route and is one of the country’s longest traffic free walking and cycling paths and offers riders excellent coastal views.

Security deposit £1000. Paid directly to the owners 2 months prior to arrival. Cashed then reissued no later than 3 weeks after departure subject to a damage inspection.

  • Beautifully Equipped Cottage in a Stunning Location

    The attention to detail is second to none. Every aspect of the home interior and furnishings has been carefully considered to make you feel welcome and provides a cosy luxurious environment to unwind. The property is a short walk from all the local amenities and pubs and the beaches at Croyde Bay and Saunton are simply stunning and surfing hot spots. Baggy point is a nearby spectacular walk and Saunton Golf Club is less than a mile away and the East course in particular is a majestic links that reminded me of playing St Andrews old course. After all the outdoor activity and sea air on your doorstep, you come back to Beach Bay where there is even a hot tub to truly relax. Five star!

    We wanted to explore a new area and to do some surfing. We had heard that Croyde was the place to go! Beach Bay Cottage was absolutely beautiful; newly furnished to a very high standard. It was also close to amenities - a coffee shop, wetsuit shop, some beach shops and a short drive to both Saunton Sands and Croyde beach itself. We used the house as a base to go for lovely long coastal walks and to come back to after surfing. The children LOVED the hot tub! It was a fabulous weekend!

    This home is absolutely outstanding in every way. It has been furnished to such a high standard, that it is almost insanity that the owners let anyone stay here at all. I wouldn't even invite my friends around. Fortunately they are clearly more generous of spirit than me. Every room is an utter delight to be in: The kitchen is any chef's dream, with every appliance and service I've ever dreamed of and a few we now must have; we never wanted to get out of the sublime beds with their incredibly soft linen and weighty duvets; the bunks and books in the childrens' playroom or nursery made me want to be and a child again; the bathrooms are all palaces with wonderfully deep baths, large showers, luxurious towels, toiletries, and charmingly beachy decor; and the outside is a haven (book the hot tub).The thought that they have put into even the smallest details is humbling. The artwork and fixtures are enchanting. All of their recommendations for walks and eateries were excellent - the Stores café at the end of the road was a joy, the Rock Inn for Sunday lunch is the perfect local with hearty food and great beer, the beaches at both Croyde and Saunton are achingly beautiful. The owners have achieved something truly special here and I can't recommend it enough. It should be double the price and you really should have to provide references before being allowed to stay! Book quickly before they come to their senses. I was expecting something great, but this home exceeded anything I could imagine, let alone expect. I have run out of superlatives, but thank you again for sharing this all with us.

    Fantastic newly decorated house in an incredible location. The house itself is 6 star if that's possible! Every room is lovely and everything has been thought of even down to an area to warm your wet boots after a long walk along the coast! 1 min walk to the pub down the road as well as a lovely coffee shop and other local stores! The beaches are all very close and we couldn't of been more content. The communication with the owners was first class as well! Would highly recommend and can't wait to return with my parents later in the year!

    We stayed over Easter weekend and enjoyed Croyde and the surrounding areas immensely. There are some stunning coastal walks right on the door step and the village is so quaint and picture perfect.

    Where to begin with the cottage!! I don't think I have ever stayed anywhere quite so perfect ! the attention to detail in this cottage is amazing. Every creature comfort has been thought about so carefully the bathrooms are stunning, the sheets are so soft and I just love the shells that have been carefully sown onto the edge of all of the binds and curtains. The outside court yard at the back of the house is great for outdoor cooking and we enjoyed hanging out in the hot tub after a long coastal walk. I would love to stay here again and can't recommend it enough!
