A wonderful Devon countryside retreat!
We recently stayed at Old Combe Barn with our children and grandchildren and had a most wonderful, relaxing stay .
The accommodation is in a peaceful setting and is surrounded by delightful county-side views.
We found the spacious barn extremely comfortable and we all enjoyed relaxing in the delightful hot tub at the end of the day after long countryside walks and trips out to Croyde and other nearby beaches , which were all very clean and safe for children .
Our grandchildren aged 12 and nine particularly enjoyed playing in the swimming pool every day.
We loved visiting the alpacas and it was lots of fun feeding the pigs , ducks and chickens every morning after a leisurely breakfast.
All in all a most enjoyable holiday!
Thank you! -
Mid-week family break
This property is stunning. The location provides breathtaking views from the deck/ hot tub. A car is advisable but not essential, as the area is very hilly. The hosts are on-site and always available without encroaching in any way. Lovely welcome pack on arrival. Perfect for a family holiday with 20yr olds, but equally so for a young family.

Great Location & Excellent Hosts
We stayed here for a family birthday celebration comprising of 6 adults & 4 children aged 3 1/2 - 11. All of them had a really fun time with what was on offer, and interacting with the animals. Alice & Luke could not be more accommodating. We can thoroughly recommend Peema who came and cooked for us, and took into account one member of the family who has a dairy intolerance. I’m sure we will be returning in the not too distant future.

A haven of relaxation
We had a wonderful week in this beautiful place. Plenty for us all to do on site and in the surrounding areas. Loved our daily feeding of the animals. The children loved the independence of going off and using the play area, especially the trampoline. Alice & Luke were fantastic hosts. We will definitely be back!

Wonderful property
We had a fantastic weekend at Old Combe Barn and couldn't ask any more from either the property or the service received. Old Combe Barn has been beautifully renovated and is equipped with everything you could possibly need. The location was lovely, set in a very picturesque valley.

An enjoyable family week
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Old Combe Barn which provided excellent and comfortable accommodation for the whole family.
The on-site facilities were excellent and varied and really helped to entertain the children (from 20 months to ten years).
We particularly enjoyed having our meals out on the deck with privacy, peace and a great view. -
Ideal venue for a family break
This was a holiday break for a family group of ten. There was plenty to do outside the property to entertain small children including a pool, hot tub and deck with outdoor eating. The facilities were excellent which matched the welcome we received.

Perfect
We stayed at The Old Barn and had a wonderful week. The house was extremely well equipped and very comfortable. Our teenage grandsons were very impressed with the huge tv! The swimming pool and hot tub were an added bonus especially on rainy days. Alice was a wonderful and very approachable host and went out of her way to make sure you had everything you needed. Beautiful location with fabulous views. We would highly recommend.
