Loved it all!
Warm, cosy yet large, welcoming, beautiful country home. Perfect for gatherings + Beautiful home. Wonderfully equipped and appointed. Owners went out of their way to accommodate us. No need to stock up on basics, all of that provided. So much better than most home rentals we’ve been to.

Turlough House is full of character and warmth—an idyllic family hom
I made some of my best memories here: long days by the river, fantastic riding, and summer evenings that seemed to last forever, with endless barbecues and fantastic company. The whole area feels like the real Ireland, we explored with lovely walks, exciting kayaking (mostly to the pub!), sailing on the lakes, and visits to nearby estates. Inside, the house is just as dreamy, with spacious rooms, a cosy wood burner in the sitting room, and farmhouse chic in every detail. I loved every minute and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it—a real home away from home in a beautiful part of the country.
