The characterful Clock Coach House holds a wonderful countryside position within the beautiful county of Shropshire. While guests will enjoy a tranquil escape, the home is just fifteen minutes from the ancient market town of Bridgnorth where a wide variety of excellent amenities, including shops and restaurants, can be found.

Built in the early 19th Century, the Grade II listed Georgian home has been lovingly modernised while still retaining all of its original charm and character features, including arched display recesses, sash windows and of course, the period clock tower. Clock Coach House can comfortably accommodate up to ten guests across its five well-appointed bedrooms. On the ground floor is the impressive living accommodation which offers plenty of room for socialising and comprises of a spacious drawing room and bright conservatory with garden views. The contemporary kitchen comes fully-equipped with all the tools you could possibly need to create delicious meals while the dining room comfortably seats all ten guests. Four of the beautifully-appointed bedrooms can be found on the ground floor, the first, a super-king master which boasts its own dressing area and en-suite bathroom. Two king-size rooms and a twin room, share the use of a fantastic family bathroom with Jacuzzi bathtub. Upstairs on the first floor is the second king-size master bedroom which boasts its own en-suite bathroom with luxurious Jacuzzi bath and dressing area.

Guests are bound to enjoy the stunning far reaching views over the surrounding countryside. After action-packed summer days spent exploring wonderful Shropshire, the whole group will enjoy yummy barbecues al fresco on the terrace. The large lawns offer plenty of space for the whole family to enjoy games while enjoying the peaceful setting.

Clock Coach House is situated in the rural Shropshire village of Coton, just a 15-minute drive from the town of Bridgnorth, where a wide variety of helpful amenities, including shops and restaurants, can be found. Steeped in history and bursting with independent shops, the county town of Shrewsbury is a fantastic destination for an enjoyable day out and is less than a 50-minute drive away. Any keen shopaholics in the group will enjoy a visit to Birmingham’s Bullring Shopping Centre, just an hours drive away.

There is plenty for families to see, do and explore in the surrounding area. For those wanting to explore the great outdoors, the Shropshire Hills are a must-visit, designated an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, Church Stretton is reachable in less than 40-minutes. For history enthusiasts, National Trust-owned 17th century Dudmaston Estate makes a picturesque setting for a lakeside stroll and is just 10-minutes away. Slightly further afield, 18thcentury Attingham Park Estate, 13th century Stokesay Castle and 11th century Ludlow Castle, each make for fascinating days out and are all within a 50-minute drive of the home. End of stay cleaning included? Yes. However, guests are required to leave the accommodation clean, tidy and in the same condition as on their arrival. Any extra cleaning, laundry, maintenance and/or rubbish disposal required will be charged against the security deposit
Smoking Allowed? Smoking & Vaping are not permitted
Pets welcome? On request prior to booking ONLY with the owner. If accepted, a pet supplement of £100 will apply. Please state the breed of dog at the time of booking. Strictly only 1 dog allowed at the property. Dog must be kept in the snug only.

Dog Policy
Well behaved dogs and owners are asked to abide by these basic guidelines:
- Dogs are not allowed on furniture or in the carpeted areas of the house. They must be kept in the snug room only.
- Pets must never be left in the house alone.
- Please ensure dogs are kept under control at all times.
- PLEASE remove any dog hairs from the house and dog fouling from the garden before you leave. If this has to be done following your departure, a charge may be deducted from your Good Housekeeping Deposit.

    I stayed here with my family for my birthday and had an incredible time. The house was just beautiful, really private and quiet location with lovely views and so much space to enjoy. The owners were so helpful and even made me a cake for my birthday which we really enjoyed. I'm hoping to book again next year and can't wait to return in the future

    A fantastic old house that enabled a great family get together. Our hosts were tremendous and welcomed us on our arrival, and provided an excellent introduction to the Clock Coach House, and catered very well for all our needs, they are very generous.
    The House (recently decorated) is very well equipped with both luxury items as well as excellent "Tech", everything worked perfectly and a very generous starter pack of items in the kitchen as well as items in the bathrooms.
    The location is idilic for those wanting a quiet retreat, whilst the local town of Bridgenorth is close for any needs.
    Overall we had a fantastic stay, and our two dogs enjoyed the safe rear enclosed garden, what more can I say; just perfect.

    Beautiful retreat! We had a wonderful large family group celebration weekend at this stunning property. The house and grounds were beautifully presented, tastefully enhancing the property’s striking original features whilst still managing to feel like a cosy ‘home from home’. The hosts were perfect - so responsive, friendly and helpful throughout the booking experience and over the course of the weekend in particular. The personal touch they brought to the weekend was the icing on the cake for us and we already look forward to booking again next summer!

    Clock Coach House was absolutely stunning - we received a lovely warm welcome from our hosts who both went the extra mile to ensure that we had everything we needed to enhance our stay. The house was perfect for a gathering of close friends. We were all sad to leave and will be planning a return visit as soon as we are able.

    I cannot recommend this place enough, an amazing property that is quiet with amazing views of trees as far as the eye can see. Great spaces for entertaining, cooking, eating etc. Bedrooms were gorgeous and then all the little things. We got some great confections as gifts, fresh cut flowers in every room. Honestly, so much thought care and attention has gone into setting this place up, but then like great hosts they leave you in peace unless you need something in which case they're very responsive.
