Burrow Hill Farmhouse holds a wonderful position nestled in the heart of the beautiful Somerset countryside with a variety of near-by sights, activities and picture-perfect villages to enjoy. It makes the perfect base for families or groups of friends wanting to explore Somerset, a truly fabulous example of English countryside.
The farmhouse dates back to 1564 and as a result boasts buckets of character and charm; it has been recently renovated and today flawlessly combines its history with updated interiors and modern furnishings, offering all the necessities for a family-friendly stay. Burrow Hill comfortably sleeps up to fifteen guests across seven bedrooms, a further two guests can be accommodated by making use of a sofa bed and additional Z-bed. On the ground floor is the impressively spacious living accommodation which comprises of a family lounge, a formal reading lounge, a modern fitted kitchen which comes complete with all the tools a budding chef could possibly need and adjoining dining room. Heading upstairs, on the first floor guests will find three-king-size bedrooms, each complete with en-suite shower rooms as well as two twin rooms which share the use of a luxury family bathroom. On the second floor is a further king room as well as a triple room with three single beds and a family bathroom.
Outside, the children will enjoy playing games on the large lawns while the adults will enjoy soaking in the luxurious hot tubs. The terrace comes complete with dining facilities and barbecue, making it the perfect spot to enjoy a meal al fresco on a warm summer’s evening.
What you should know…
- While dogs are welcome to stay, they must be kept out of the bedrooms
- Due to the farmhouse posessing a rural location we recommend guests bring a car in order to reach near-by attractions and amenities

- Please note the neighbours of Burrow Hill Farmhouse are only 40m from the house. We ask that you are respectful during your stay, loud music outside and generally loud noise outside will not be permitted. Failure to comply with this rule will result in the loss of your security deposit.
