A beautiful, contemporary holiday home, Anglesey Bay House offers the perfect hideaway, with ample space for seven guests to enjoy the historical and natural delights of Anglesey. As part of a larger retreat, Bull Bay house and Bull Bay Cottage can both be rented separately or together, sharing the same private grounds bordered by luscious pine trees on the beautiful Anglesey coast.

Throughout this charming property, character features have been carefully combined with modern styles. Flooded by natural light, the open living areas are finished in warm natural textiles and patterns that evoke a tranquil atmosphere.

As you open the front door, an entrance lobby welcomes you in, with the original bay window and a cosy nook where you can sit down to take pause as well as removing any shoes, coats and sandy attire. The main living space is open plan, with natural light weaving its way into every corner, making the space feel bright and airy. There is a large L-shaped sofa in the living room where you can curl up in the evening, as well as a built-in dining banquette in the kitchen, perfect for evening meals and social breakfasts together with your family and friends. The adjoining sliding doors open directly onto the private decking area.

A favourite feature in this charming house is a hatched window in the kitchen. The window provides a special breakfast bar area and a connection with the outdoor dining area, so you can pass tasty treats and refreshing drinks between. With all the equipment you could need, including a wine cooler, this sleek kitchen is a delight to use.

The three bedrooms are spread over the two floors, with one spacious double on the ground floor and two further bedrooms upstairs. Upstairs, the master boasts an indulgent super-king bed, whilst the third bedroom offers a triple bunk bed for up to three children or two adults. For larger groups of people, the sofa bed will come in handy. From the family bathroom, the views sweep out across the coastline, with a beautifully designed rainforest shower that feels like a retreat in its own right!

Anglesey Bay House benefits from its own private decking gallery overlooking the beautiful Bull Bay below. Equipped with a hot tub, outdoor mood lighting, dining table and a barbecue, long summer nights are best spent out here, soaking in the holiday ambience.

The beautiful Anglesey Bay House benefits from a stunning location in a designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB). Looking out over Bull Bay below, this seaside retreat is the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of day-to-day life. For larger get-togethers of friends or family, this sublime location is perfect. In fact, as part of a larger retreat, Bull Bay House and Bull Bay Cottage can both be rented separately or together, sharing the same private grounds

Close by, there are stunning coastal walks, fabulous local pubs, and a championship golf course to enjoy. With an array of adrenaline-inducing water sports hosted on the Bay below, just a five-minute walk from the retreat, the opportunities are endless.

Anglesey Bay House is situated on the north-eastern tip of Anglesey, offering a brilliant base for exploring the best spots the island has to offer. Located off the north-west coast of Wales. The island can be accessed by train, or the 19th-century Menai Suspension Bridge and the Britannia Bridge, which was rebuilt in the 20th century. At the top of our list in this area are the seaside villages of Cemaes Bay and Benllech, as well as enjoying the fascinating heritage walks that can be taken around the old copper mine workings that overlook the Bay. The beaches are great for long walks, picnics, swimming, paddling, water sports and dolphin-watching, so you easily spend your whole trip on the sandy shores.

We would also recommend a trip to Beaumaris, best known for its impressive castle. The castle is a United Nations World Heritage site, constructed between 1295-1330 to form perfectly symmetrical concentric lines of fortification. There is also a moat and a dock for supply ships. Beaumaris town is overflowing with medieval, Georgian, Victorian and Edwardian architecture, with lovely cafes, charming restaurants and plenty of shops to explore.

Luxury self-catering holiday accommodation in North Wales

Nestled in the bear hug of the United Kingdom, North Wales is rich in history, wrapped in natural beauty and adorned with cultural bling. This land of stunning landscapes beckons you, intrepid traveller, to unravel its treasures. Please take a look at our jaw-dropping properties that will make your holiday a wonderful adventure.

North Wales’ showstopper, the Snowdonia National Park, is a playground for nature lovers and hiking enthusiasts. Mount Snowdon, the VIP of the scene, towers above, overseeing the fun. Scenic trails, waterfalls that put your shower to shame and lakes are scattered across this magnificent landscape.

If history is your jam, Conwy Castle, a UNESCO World Heritage Site is a medieval masterpiece that flaunts military architecture. The town of Conwy is a living history book with cobbled streets and ancient buildings. One amazing landmark, Pontcysyllte Aqueduct, is a 19th-century engineering marvel. Imagine a soaring aqueduct, the Dee Valley below, and views that make you question if you accidentally stepped into a postcard.

The charming village of Portmeirion is a colour explosion. Designed by Sir Clough Williams-Ellis, this place enjoys vibrant buildings, lush gardens and seaside vibes. It is like a Welsh-Italian love affair that birthed a unique destination. Bangor is not just a university town. It is where Penrhyn Castle stands tall, a neo-Norman masterpiece surrounded by gardens that put Versailles to shame. The majestic Snowdonia mountains are the backdrop, adding drama.

North Wales is a theme park for thrill-seekers. Hiking, mountain biking, water sports, it is a playground of outdoor delights. Zip World Velocity in Bethesda takes the cake with the fastest zip line globally, making you feel like Superman over dramatic landscapes.

The coastline comes up trumps too. Llandudno boasts Victorian elegance, a historic pier and a Great Orme headland with cable cars and tramways making you feel as though you have stepped into a period drama. Aberystwyth brings the seaside charm while the nearby charmer, Betws-y-Coed is the tranquil village nestled in lush woodlands, inviting you to escape the chaos.

North Wales, with its blend of natural wonders, historic landmarks and adventure galore, is a love affair waiting to happen. Pack your bags, because each step in this magical land unfolds a new chapter in a story that has been brewing for centuries.

While the image of lush valleys and a laid-back lifestyle are right at the heart of a holiday in Wales, don’t think stunning landscapes and a bit of relaxation are the only thing on offer in this beautiful country. Don’t believe us?

Great place to stay, lovely views. Enjoyed our walks onto the coastal path to watch the dolphins every morning

  • Stunning views

    on 06/06/2023

Was beautiful! Myself and my friends stayed for a hen do and it did not disappoint! The views are stunning and it’s not far from the beach :) The decor is beautiful and well thought through. Mike was really great in his communication beforehand and during which made us feel at ease, he also helped us book a yoga activity on the garden lawn which was a lovely end to the weekend. Thank you so much :)

  • Eerything we dreamed of and more

    on 06/06/2023

WOW - From start to finish the home was everything we dreamed of and more. With panoramic sea views from the bedrooms, bathroom and kitchen we were blown away from the second we walked in, paired with the stunning interiors; we felt like we could be abroad. The outdoor space is gorgeous with a large hot tub and patio area. The living room and kitchen space exceeded expectations and really does look as spacious as the photographs, being the perfect place to dance! Michael our host was exceptional with communication and couldn’t of made us feel more at home. The home was well equipped with the basic necessities required and the beds were 5* hotel standard. The home is right on the bay (2 minute walk) and a 15 minute drive to the gorgeous Church Bay beach which blew us away. I will definitely be returning and recommending to everyone!

  • Nice, modern house with quick access to the coastal path

    on 03/04/2023

We had a great time at the Anglesey Bay House. Nice, modern house with quick access to the coastal path at Bull Bay which is great for walking and spotting dolphins, porpoises and seals. We saw loads on our last morning. Nearby to Almwch for groceries and only 10-15 mins from Lligwy beach and Benllech. The house and rooms are calm and spacious. I appreciated how they keep it well stocked with laundry detergent, dishwasher tablets, etc. A small thing that makes a difference.

  • We would definitely go back!

    on 06/03/2023

We had a great stay. The houses were spotless and beautifully decorated. They were located right on the coast, with beautiful surroundings and many places to go walking/swimming. The hot tubs were also great fun! We would definitely go back!

  • Nicely decorated

    on 13/02/2023

Lovely cottage with a sea view in a quiet location. Nicely decorated with a modern kitchen and comfortable beds. The hot tub was the icing on the cake….even in February! A very helpful host checking everything was okay for us. Would highly recommend.

  • Great for a chilled weekend

    on 22/11/2022

Nice house with good kitchen. Great for a chilled weekend away with friends or family.

  • Finished to a high standard

    on 14/11/2022

Just back from Anglesey Bay Home. 16 of us from adults to 7 month old. Great setup across the two houses. Both finished to a high standard - kitchen, bathrooms. Lounge & kitchen gave us more than enough space to be as a group. Hot tubs absolute winners with adults and kids!! Mike was really helpful and quick with all his comms - thanks Mike!

  • Extremely comfortable beds and a lovely quiet location

    on 06/09/2022

We were a group of 5 women and there was plenty of space. Extremely comfortable beds and a lovely quiet location meant we slept really well. The host was very helpful, reaching out to us in advance which meant arrival and leaving was very smooth and they contacted during the stay to check all was OK. Great place to explore Anglesey from.

  • Lovely stay

    on 15/08/2022

We had a lovely stay at Anglesey Bay House, a large family group from 3 to 80 years of age! Few teething problems on arrival (as expected as only just on the market) but all dealt with very quickly and a good will gesture sent which very much appreciated.
