The ultimate beach retreat awaits you set with the stunning backdrop of the Snowdonia mountains, on the beautiful Holy Island of Anglesey. Sleeping up to 28 guests in total two exquisitely renovated neighbouring holiday homes sit amongst lush grounds complete with shared private tennis court, hot tubs, breath-taking views and Borth Wen Bay just a short ten-minute stroll from your door.
Both properties are flooded with natural light throughout enhancing the warm natural textiles and modern décor. The main living spaces in both homes are situated on the first floor to allow for maximum enjoyment of the coastal vistas. Gather round the large wood burning stoves found in the living areas, a great spot to cosy up on a chilly night, after a lively evening meal served at the large dining tables flanked by floor to ceiling windows that allow you to enjoy your meal with a view.
On a warm evening take a stroll, drink in hand, and follow the lovely flow from the living room onto the balcony terraces where dinner sizzles on the BBQ grill, back through to the spacious kitchen dining areas. Both properties hold enviably well-equipped kitchens with all the modern amenities you would want to host a large group from Rangemaster oven, Insinkerator, two dishwashers, wine fridges and more!
To add to the fun, each house comes with a playroom/games room where younger members of the family can bed in and make their own. Complete with games consoles, Satellite TV, board games and free Wifi throughout, this is a perfect place to chill with a movie or get competitive on the PlayStation!
In the larger of the two houses, Osprey House, the sleeping accommodation is spread across the ground floor and second floor, allowing easy access options for those who need it. There are five double bedrooms complete with en-suite, two of which have patio doors that lead out to the lovely gardens. A family bathroom with bath and shower and a kid-friendly bunk room completes the ground floor. The remaining two super king bedrooms are tucked up in the eaves of the second floor and come with not only an en-suite each with bath and shower but a dressing room and striking views out to the Bay to enjoy from the cosy comfort of your morning lie-in.
Meanwhile in Bara House the bedrooms are spread across the ground floor and first floor. Two super-king bedrooms complete with en-suite and patio doors allow you to make the most of the crisp morning air coming off the bay each day. Also on the ground floor is a twin bedroom with en-suite and a fantastic nautical themed bunk room that will delight the youngest members of your family, particular as it includes a Nintendo library, TV and chill out sofa! The remaining two large double bedrooms can be found on the first floor and share a family bathroom with shower and excellent sunken bath for luxurious soaks in the bubbles.
Zip and link beds in both mean that most rooms can be adapted for your party, plus cosy under floor heating, fluffy towels and toiletries in all bathrooms keep the emphasis firmly on your comfort and happiness.
The impressive outdoor area expands further than the lovely outdoor seating and BBQ of each properties’ balcony terrace areas, to a private tennis court, a private hot tub each and a Rebo tennis wall. Swing in a hanging chair or relax in the bubbles with a drink as you watch the world go by or if your competitive streak still needs feeding after a game on the court, then a table tennis tournament will keep even the most energetic guests busy! With the beach just a ten-minute walk away, access to sand and sea is easy with lovely coastal walks easily accessed from your front door. There is much to see and do in one of the most visually striking parts of Wales if you can tear yourself away from the excellent amenities on offer at Denbigh House.

Location
About the surrounding area of Denbigh HouseSet in its own delightful grounds Denbigh House benefits from breath-taking vistas at every angle. Watch the sunrise over nearby Borth Wen Bay, within easy walking distance, ideal for enjoying a lovely coastal walk or getting stuck in with a bucket and spade. Backed by sand dunes this is a lovely safe beach where children can paddle or stretch your legs with the circular walk along Rhoscolyn beach towards the headland.
If you are looking for a night off from cooking, then we recommend a trip to the excellent local pub, The White Eagle. A real hidden gem, this pub is often referred to as the best on the island, with an elevated outdoor terrace, mouth-watering roasts and a selection of ales, all complimented by a stunning view, just two minutes from your door.
Why not visit the only working windmill in Wales at Llynon Mill? Built in 1775 the mill still produces wholemeal flour, whilst two neighbouring roundhouses provide a unique insight into the farming practise and lifestyle of the Iron Age. There is also a wonderful on-site café to grab some lunch or a slice of cake during your visit.
If you want to get out on the waves, we recommend a visit to Beaumaris Pier to grab a boat trip to Puffin Island. Skippers will steer you past the seal colony and seal cave at Penmon Point lighthouse, whilst the Island itself has a plethora of birdlife from cormorants, guillemots and of course puffins! If you are lucky you may even spot bottlenose dolphins or harbour porpoises swimming by.
A trip into the Snowdonia national park is a must during your stay. Whether you are looking to climb the highest peaks or just take in the natural beauty of the National Park there is something for everyone. We recommend the Llyn Cwellyn Boardwalk trail, an easy access lakeside walk that meanders between two soaring mountain peaks. If hiking isn’t your thing then why not hop on board the seasonal Snowdon Railway, surely one of the most picturesque train rides in the world, with stunning scenery and awe-inspiring views you can ride the rail right to the summit without any exertion needed!

Known as “Ynys Môn” in Welsh, this idyllic island is surrounded by pristine beaches, rugged coastal paths, and dramatic sea cliffs, offering an unparalleled setting for those seeking a tranquil escape or an adventure-filled getaway. The Anglesey Coastal Path, a 125-mile trail encircling the island, showcases breathtaking vistas and diverse wildlife, making it a haven for walkers, birdwatchers, and nature lovers. The island’s charming villages and bustling market towns, such as Menai Bridge and Holyhead, boast traditional pubs, independent shops, and local delicacies, including fresh seafood and the famous Anglesey sea salt. For a unique experience, visit the picturesque South Stack Lighthouse, perched atop cliffs teeming with seabirds, or take a trip to Llanddwyn Island, a romantic spot steeped in legend and linked to the Welsh patron saint of love, St. Dwynwen.
