Perfect for families or groups of friends, this beautifully refurbished lodge boasts three luxurious bedrooms and vibrant retro-meets-modern interiors. The ground floor features a shaker-style kitchen, colorful dining room, cozy living room with a feature fire, and a serene double bedroom with a luxury shower room. Upstairs, two opulent bedrooms offer sumptuous linens, vintage furnishings, and indulgent rolltop baths. Outside, a tranquil garden overlooks enchanting woodland, providing the perfect setting for relaxation.
The Estate, dating back to 1097, is steeped in history and offers an unparalleled range of amenities. Guests can explore woodland trails, wild reservoirs, and formal 18th-century gardens. A state-of-the-art wellness center features a hydro-massage pool, organic-shaped sauna, and bespoke therapies. Unique activities include wild swimming, guided forest therapy walks, foraging, and exclusive dining experiences such as candlelit woodland dinners.

- Up to 2 pets are welcome at Mile Stone Lodge on request but are subject to an additional fee. Please see T&Cs for more detailss.
- Please note that the Wellness and Bistro facilities on the estate are shared with guests staying in other properties. However, private activities and experiences can certainly be arranged! Please don’t hesitate to enquire.
- A stair gate, travel cot and highchair are available on request.
- If you need a little more space and want to enjoy a holiday with another family, there are several other cottages and houses on the estate which you might be interested in.
- One of the bedrooms is located on the ground floor, ideal for any guests with mobility issues.

Kids can roam the grounds, enjoy picnics, swim in reservoirs, spot wildlife, and toast marshmallows by the fire. The wellness center welcomes families with children on Wednesdays and Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m., at an additional cost (see the 'Extras' tab for details).
The nearby Yorkshire Dales offer endless outdoor activities, including the family-friendly steam train ride at Embsay and Bolton Abbey Railway. For a historical adventure, visit Fountains Abbey, where kids can explore the ruins, spot wildlife, and enjoy a thrilling playground.
