Overview
Enjoy the wonders of Barbados from the grand, Villa Keneil. Hosting a whooping twelve guests across its expansive grounds, enjoy a stay filled with relaxation, elegance and enchanting views of the coast and sea!
From its outward appearance, guests will know they are in for a decadent stay, as the home showcases the highest standard of traditional Caribbean design fused with exquisite touches, such as a pillared entrance. The home has been splashed with a neutral palette to highlight the fantastic character exuded from the chic and antique décor that sits throughout the open-plan layout and allows sunlight and a gentle breeze room to waft in. Outdoors, guests are treated to an immaculately kept space, so big that you may lose sight of fellow guests momentarily and you have views from each side that will be sure to soothe the soul.
Getting started indoors, guests will find that the main house has everything you need to gather the family together. In the unique living area, you will take a second to admire the personality that this room oozes, with its inclusion of a double-height ceiling, vaulted beams, beautiful coral stone interiors and a mix of contemporary and old-world Caribbean furnishings. Here guests can recline and unwind on several plump sofas and seats whilst you chatter into the evening. If you seek a quieter setting, spend some time upstairs on a smaller lounge area, overlooking the ground floor. You can whip up a feast for everyone in the fully-equipped kitchen, or take it easy as a private chef works their magic!
The verandah seamlessly blends into the open living area, so step through to enjoy delicious meals on the table located here. You can relax and enjoy the shade of the verandah on the comfy and cosy lounge area, whilst you sip cool drinks and watch across the waves, or for a more lavish end to the evening, head over to the fourteen seating alfresco dining table, where you can hold a proper banquet. Stepping down from the verandah, guests can walk barefoot to sun-beds dotted around the patio! The patio has been elevated and built towards the edge, so it is here you get the best and least interrupted views of the vast Caribbean Sea. This huge area also houses the beautifully placed swimming pool, which will offer opportunities to escape the heat from the sun or simply have fun!
The gorgeous Villa Keneil, features bedrooms in the main house and the cottage-style dwelling, attached to the home. Every bedroom in the home features a lovely en-suite bathroom, some with bathtubs but all with showers. King-size beds sit in three of the bedrooms in the main house, with the fourth housing two single beds which can be joined together to present another King-size bed. The cottage allows four more guests a place to slumber, with its inclusion of two bedrooms, both containing Queen-size beds and a private patio.
With a Chef, Butler and Housekeeper, you can truly unwind and let go of your troubles as your needs are cared and catered for, allowing you to truly have the escape you have been dreaming about!

About the Island & Getting There
About Barbados
At first glance you could be mistaken for thinking that Barbados is purely a beach holiday destination, but you're urged to reconsider this common belief. The island of Barbados is peppered with astonishing landscapes (both coastal and inland), enchanting locals, sublime cuisine, intriguing rums, fascinating wildlife, symbolic architecture and a selection of striking holiday villas.
Delve deep into the history of the island and start your holiday by visiting Sunbury Plantation House & Museum. This former plantation was built in 1660's and the premises are scattered with antiquities that delicately detail a recent history of Barbados. St. Nicholas Abbey also provides an insightful representation of Sugarcane production, Bajan artefacts and a wonderful observation point at Cherry Tree Hill. If you’re keen to visit one of the oldest Parliamentary buildings within the Commonwealth and appreciate the democratic legacy of Barbados, drop by The Parliament Buildings. This neo-gothic congress can be found in Bridgetown and act as a representation of Barbados’s Independence. There is so much history present throughout the island and as a result, Bridgetown and its Garrison has been declared a UNESCO World Heritage site, which the locals are very proud of.
Great efforts have been made to persevere the natural beauty of Barbados, so if you’re drawn to the exploration of National Parks and multicoloured gardens, it won’t take you long to realise that Barbados is a haven for such paradises! Within the Andromeda Botanic Gardens, Farley Hill National Park, Flower Forest, Hunte's Gardens and Welchman Hall Gully - visitors, and Botanist alike, will be lost for hours admiring these astonishing botanical parklands. Keep an eye out for the Dwarf Poinciana, or Peacock Flower…it’s the national flower of Barbados.
Bajan’s take their food very seriously! If you and your fellow travellers are enticed by the gastronomic aspect of holidaying, we believe you’ve selected the right island. With every aspect of cookery mastered; from pickling to freshly prepared dishes, sweet & savoury, fragrant & spicy and of course, the bountiful choice of seafood. Check out the food stalls in Paynes Bay Church – where vendors exhibit locally made dishes & street food that will scintillate the taste buds. At the end of every working week, locals and tourists both flock to Oistins, for 'Fish Fry Day'. This is a must for those who haven’t undergone the experience! The evening starts with barbecues and then ascends into a joyful party. This caps off a busy few days of work for locals as well as the 'strains' associated with serious holidaying.
Barbados is of course iconic for its Beaches & Rum…so why not bring them together? You will have to go out of your way not to be able to find a beach bar along the west coast of the island, as well as the countless Rum Shops. Yes, you’ve read correctly, Rum Shops! These small and locally run businesses embrace the Bajan spice of life, in liquid form. Very delicious! If you’re searching for something a little more special, take a trip to the east coast and visit Sand Dunes Bar and Restaurant at Windy Hill, for an unforgettable experience.
Barbados is a distinct and striking part of the Caribbean. It’s a great fit for all types of travellers, as the island really does have it all. For a little more information about this delightful island, check out our guide to a remarkable stay!

Put your feet up and relax as you are spoiled with fine dining. The fully-equipped kitchen will be useful, if not to cook then to at least store food and drink to grab as you relax at home.
The villa offers unrivalled privacy from its location on high, above the coastal towns that sit below it and the lush fauna that surrounds the dwelling. You have a myriad of places to purchase items for the holiday and to take back with you, as well as several restaurants in towns and on the beaches just minutes away from the villa. Choose international dishes or Caribbean delights at rooftop, beachside and fancy dining settings.
Paynes Bay Beach is perfect for families with young children or novice swimmers, as the waters are super calm and shallow for many metres out. Head to the neighbouring beach, Sandy Lane. Here you may catch a glimpse of a celebrity or two on the fine stretch of golden sand. The hotel which sits by the beach offers a bar and beach chair rental, so kids can take it easy and watch the boats pass by on the sparkling, clear waters as they devour treats and guzzle ice-gold drinks! Enjoy a variety of water-sports and water-based activities on the sea. Marvel at the scenes below the sea and maybe catch a glimpse of a turtle as you snorkel with loved ones. Stay above the surface, taking a peaceful voyage on a kayak or turn it up a notch with a wet and wild time on a jet-ski!

This home is beautiful
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for a stay that was better than any of us could have imagined. From the tasty meals to the delicious drinks, the very well-kept rooms, to the anticipation of our unspoken needs... we wanted for nothing. This home is beautiful in and of itself, but it is warm and inviting because of you all. You made our 40th birthdays a memorable one and we are grateful for our time here with you.

Great location. Staff is wonderful.

A home from home!
Nothing too much trouble. A home away from home - albeit with better views and nicer weather. Such a treat. Thanks.

Phenomenal
Villa Keneil was beyond our expectations. The staff was phenomenal! Everything was perfect. We had absolutely no complaints except our stay was too short and went too quickly!!!

Everything about this place is amazing!
Before booking our holiday, we loved what Villa Keneil offered and we weren't disappointed! The villa and it's setting is idyllic. Arnold and his staff have been so incredibly helpful and their warmth and constant smiles made it even better. It's a little bit of paradise and we'd love to come back!
The house is unbelievable, but by far the best thing is how attentive, friendly and happy the staff are. They were amazing with our 11 month old baby!
Don't miss out! Reserve now and get a full refund if you change your mind within 48hrs.
