Overview
A massive whole-house renovation has created this lovely vacation villa in the upscale residential neighborhood of Spring Farm just five minutes from three world-class golf courses, designer shops, bars, restaurants and beaches.
Through carved entrance doors with antique brass fittings, the magnificent view is immediately apparent. The view becomes more dramatic as one moves through the large living room to the shaded verandah - and beyond to the private pool and large lawn. The view from Nutmeg of the deep blue Caribbean Sea is simply breathtaking.
Five acres of tropical gardens are lush with flowers, oranges, limes, lemons, June plum, breadfruit, grapefruit, avocado and mango. This large lawn is a wonderful playground for children.
Adjoining the verandah is the covered al fresco dining terrace for delicious meals prepared by the Nutmeg cook. Lunches are served on the dining verandah or at shaded poolside umbrella tables.
The large octagonal private pool has beautiful teak chaises with plump cushions. A stone terrace wraps around the Caribbean side of the villa. The living room and all bedrooms adjoin this long terrace via French doors that fold back so each doorway opens wide to the vast blue sea view.

Location
About the surrounding area of NutmegMontego Bay is Jamaica's tourism capital and arguably one of the Caribbean's premier resort destinations. It is the island's second city in terms of size and importance and has long been a playground for the world's rich and famous. It is easily accessible, the city boasts a first class international airport, as well as a port used by many interntnaional cruise lines.
Montego Bay is home to some of the most colourful and exquisite Villa's in the Caribbean, which are complemented by an abundance of transport facilities and an unparralleled array of amenities and attractions, all of which contribute to Montego Bay's vibrant holiday culture. This city has a lively Caribbean charm and each vacationer can embrace their own uniquely Jamaican experience.
The City's streets are colourful and lively, with craft market stalls, shops and banks. You can visit the renowned white-sand Doctor's Cave Beach which has attracted celebrities and socialites from all over the world. Legend tells that the beach is fed by healing mineral springs, whether or not the legend is true, the beach certainly holds the most uncommonly clear and sparkling waters.
As well as the Doctor's Cave, Montego Bay has many unique tourist attractions. Why not try one of the Undersea Tours? The Coral Sea has the appearance of a submarine but in reality is a boat with an air conditioned underwater viewing compartment, to sit and watch the wonders of Montego Bay's marine life park; coral, hundreds of tropical fish, turtles and sting rays.
As well as dazzling waters, Montego bay also offers history, culture and wildlife. The Rocklands Feeding station is a must for bird lovers, located only minutes from Montego Bay. The Belvedere estate also draws in tourists from every area, one of the first sugar cane plantations in Jamaica and is still a working estate. It's owner, Mr. Pat McGann has opened it to the public so that the estate may share it's natural beauty, rivers, waterfalls, ruins and exotic plants with tourists and the public.
For sport lovers, Montego Bay is home to 4 different golf courses, including the world famous Tryall Golf Club which sits in a stunning 2,200 acre estate with sweeping vistas down to the captivatingly blue Caribbean Sea.
There are numerous spa's, restaurants, nightclubs, historic cites, watersports and adventure parks at your disposal as a vacationer at Montego Bay. The ideal holiday destination for families, couples and friends alike.
The villa enjoys Golf, Tennis, Beach & Gym Membership at Half Moon. This offers unlimited free green fees, unlimited use of practice facilities and range balls, 25% discount on optional cart rental, 25% discount on goods at Half Moon golf pro shop, 25% discount on instructional services at Half Moon Golf Academy, 25% discount at 19th Hole Bar.

About the Island & Getting There
About Jamaica
We have assembled a guide on some of our Jamaica highlights, so please check it out!
Prior to Booking
Please be aware that Jamaica is an island nation that experiences weather patterns dictated by the Atlantic Ocean to the north of the island and the Caribbean Sea to the south of the island. This tropical rainforest climate results in the island experiencing a hurricane season, which usually occurs between June to November. When thinking about booking your holiday to Jamaica, please consult Foreign travel advice for more information.
Entry Requirements
Tourists who are British Citizens will not require a visa upon arrival and Departure Tax is included in most flight costs. Please check Entry Requirements before departure.
Getting There
Jamaica has two international airports, Donald Sangster in Montego Bay and Norman Manley, Kingston.
From the US:
There are many direct flights with Jet Blue, Caribbean, Delta, American and United from cities including New York, Chicago, Miami, Atlanta, Charlotte, Dallas, Houston and Philadelphia.
From the UK:
There are direct flights to Montego Bay from Gatwick and Manchester with American Airlines, British Airways or Virgin Atlantic. Glasgow and Belfast passengers can also fly via the US with United Airlines.

Kids
Best Suited For: All AgesStaying at Nutmeg with kids is easy-as-can-be with a selection of kid-friendly inclusions included at the property. Above all else, Nutmeg’s abundance of space makes it perfect for the limitless enery kids seem to possess. With a large residential space and securely fenced-in garden, kids can run around to their heart’s content in the sweet Caribbean sun.
When not tiring themselves out running laps around the yard, kids can make use of Nutmeg’s extensive library of books and CDs. A collection of current DVDs are available to watch which can be used on any of the TVs, or for family movies, you can enjoy the luxury of Nutmeg’s home cinema room.
Your time at Nutmeg includes complimentary use of a beach membership to The Rose Hall Beach Club, a beautiful private beach where kids can play in the sand and paddle in the pristine waters. At the beach club, you’ll find a cosy picnic area where you can bring your own packed meals or enjoy quick bites from the beachside grill.
If you’re thinking about exploring beyond the villa, having Montego Bay on your doorstep will leave kids completely spoiled for choice when deciding what to do during their stay. As a gateway to the wider island, the lively port acts as the starting point for a wide choice of tours and trips that you can take kids on to keep them entertained.
ATV Safari
Older kids will enjoy riding along breath-taking sandscapes and nature trails from the back of their own ATV on an island safari like no other. You can choose to go on a guided or unguided tour, following a pre-set riding route, which will take you through Jamaica’s beautiful scenery. We recommend taking a guided tour as your guide will be able to provide you with facts and info about the area along the way.
Good Hope Estate
Located on the site of a former plantation, the 2000 acres of the Good Hope estate are now dedicated to fun and adventure in the Jamaican woodlands. Kids can get involved with a whole host of activities at Good Hope, including zip-lining, nature walks, river tubing and making their way through an expansive zero-entry waterpark that culminates in a 50ft waterfall.
Meet the fish
With Montego Bay right your doorstep at Nutmeg, you can take off for a day on the sea. Kids love watching the fish swim beneath them on glass-bottom boat tours or watching the dolphins play along the coastline as you take in a tour of the island by boat.

At week's end, they will present receipts for all food and beverage and reconcile your account. A typical grocery budget is $65-$75 per adult per day and $20-25 per day for preteens. This may vary up or down depending on market prices and menus.(more luxurious items such as shrimp, lobster, imported meats and Champagne will incur a further charge).
