Sleeping just four guests across two delightfully decorated bedrooms, the whole of Villa D’arcy’s interior enjoys a high-quality finish. The charming living room features welcoming furniture, a high white ceiling and dark wood floor. The room is L-shaped and adjoins a modern, well-appointed kitchen, which connects sociably with the living room via the breakfast bar. Sit here with a cocktail before dinner and enjoy this cheery, relaxed space.
Light floods into the living-kitchen area from the large, patio doors which open out the entire length of the room and lead you onto the patio outside. It’s from this fabulous vantage point that you can appreciate Villa D’arcy’s beautiful surroundings and view. In front of you, there’s a mix of fairway, lush palms and plants. And in the distance, you have tantalising glimpses of the sparkling Caribbean Sea. Sit back in a Planter’s chair or dine al fresco. This gorgeous, covered terrace is for cooling off in the shade and enjoying every, peaceful minute.
On the floor below, you’ll find Villa D’arcy’s sleeping accommodation. Bedroom one is spacious and includes an en-suite bathroom and two single beds which can be zipped together to form a king size bed. Bedroom two has a queen size bed and adjacent bathroom. Both rooms are serene with white ceilings, dark floor and crisp, fresh linen. The walls are exposed stone and you have arched patio doors which lead out onto private sun terraces. This is your spot for watching the day wake up with an early cup of coffee, or a nightcap after dark. Steps lead directly down to the pool terrace.
Raised above the carefully landscaped and planted garden, your private splash pool is flanked on all sides by tranquil greenery and a sun deck complete with potted plants, sun loungers, a barbecue and umbrella for extra shade. Prepare yourself for indulgent rounds of soaking up the Saint Lucian sun, cooling off in the water and then snoozing in the shade. Bliss!
The only golf course on the island is on your doorstep and an abundance of fabulous beaches are within a short drive. Staying at Villa D’arcy is pure escapism, but if you wish, it’s easy to explore this corner of the Caribbean.

Location
About the surrounding area of Villa D'arcyVilla D’arcy is set within the Cap Estate community of luxury villas. Dominating the northern tip of the island, this peaceful area offers its residents security, privacy and access to exclusive amenities such as golf, tennis and restaurants. You’re also very close to sweeping stretches of sand in all directions along Saint Lucia’s spectacular coastline.
Saint Lucia Golf and Country Club is the only one on the island. It’s a challenging eighteen-hole, championship standard course, planted with palms, orchids and other exotic plants. The clubhouse has a Caribbean grill restaurant and a rental shop for guests.
If you want to experience a livelier side to Saint Lucia, head for Rodney Bay’s Reduit Beach. A hotspot for sunbathers and waterfront activities, you can easily spend the entire day soaking up the sun on the soft, white sand or swimming in the warm, sheltered sea. If you fancy trying water sports, there’s snorkelling, diving and sailing available from Rodney Bay’s marina, just further around the shore. This award-winning marina is also a great place for admiring yachts from all around the world and people watching from a waterfront bar or café.
For a bit of culture and a day’s sightseeing, Pigeon Island offers history, natural beauty and another beach. The British-French battle over Saint Lucia lasted almost three hundred years and the hilltop fort on the peak at Pigeon Island is where you can learn more. The ruins still have cannon in position but today, this iconic landmark is a forty-acre National Park, where you can hike along peaceful trails and through shaded woods, looking out for tropical wildlife along the way. The beach runs along one side of the man-made land bridge, which connected the island to the shore about forty years ago. It’s a perfect spot for tired legs and a picnic.

About the Island & Getting There
About St Lucia
The Land, The People, The Light – St Lucia’s motto couldn’t be more representative of this captivating sovereign island nation. Witness dazzling scenery, be spellbound by the fascinating locals and allow for St Lucia to brighten your day and show you a new way to life.
St Lucia gained its independence from the British Commonwealth in 1979 and after centuries of a French presence, which is most visible today in the original Capital of Soufrière, St Lucia is famous for its Pitons & landscapes and vivacious community.
St Lucia really is a hiker’s Nirvana! Where to start? That’s a tough question. However, with the likes of - The Diamond Botanical Gardens, Enbas Saut Waterfall Trail, Pigeon Island National Park, Sulphur Springs Park Scenic Drive and Tet Paul Nature Trail – it doesn’t matter! These UNESCO listed sites are a sight to behold. If you're likely to take to the water, you'll be able to admire the rich marine biodiversity just off the shore of St Lucia. Over 60% of the marine area is made up of coral reefs and these are very poular with snorkelers and scuba divers. Just make sure you put time aside to relish these privileged land & seascapes.
Start your cultural trip downtown in Castries. Here you will be provided with more than enough entertainment for an afternoon and evening. The local Market runs throughout the week and is certainly the right place to come for exotic fruits and tantalising Street Food - the Green Fig & Salt Fish is local delicacy and it's not scarce, so perhaps try a few variants on this regional intricacy and let us know which is your favourite! The vendors are incredibly animated, so expect a show to be put on if you choose to explore this part of the island and brush up on those haggling skills. La Place Carenage and Point Seraphine are very popular Malls and if you bear in mind the added incentive of these complexes being Duty-Free, you and your guests will certainly get some good deals (A taxi back to your villa after such an excursion is suggested!).
Many holiday makers are surprised to learn of St Lucia’s rich cocoa legacy. Ever since the 1700’s this island has been producing cocoa related products, that are incredibly sought after all across the world. Morne Coubaril Estate and La Dauphine Estate specialise in showcasing how plantations use to gather & manufacture the Cocoa Bean fruit and organise educational tours. After learning all about St Lucia’s former booming cocoa industry, you will probably need some therapy…how about chocolate therapy like you’ve never encountered before? Enquire at some of the islands more renowned Spas and you’ll be able to experience the benefits of a chocolate facial and massage. Remember - Chocolate isn’t a food, it’s a medicine!
We have selected some of the most exciting villas on the island, so browse through these dreamy holiday homes and have a look at our cheeky little guide to St Lucia!

Kids
Best Suited For: All AgesSmall but perfectly formed, Villa D’arcy is holiday paradise for a family of three or four. The two bedrooms, lounge-kitchen, al fresco dining room and generous covered patios are luxurious and ideal for spending quality time together. Children will love having fun in the splash pool and you’ll love the view and the sun loungers.
After you’ve had your fill of lazy days around the pool and family barbecues on the terrace, explore the beaches within easy reach of Villa D’arcy. Reduit Beach is reputed to be the best on the island for shoreline fun and tropical atmosphere. If the children are six or older, they’ll love Splash Island Water Park. It has climbing walls, trampolines, swings, hurdles, lifeguards, and it floats! For a quieter beach experience, the snorkelling at Smugglers Cove is fantastic, thanks to the calm, turquoise waters and abundant sea life.
For a spot of culture, take the family on a wildlife trail in Pigeon Island’s National Park and visit the historic hilltop fort, complete with cannon.

Comfortable Cottage for 4
Villa D’Arcy was perfect for our family of 4. The cottage is not huge, but we spent most of our time there on the deck enjoying the sunsets or down by the pool cooling off. We have two teenage kids so our days were spent exploring the island. I highly recommend renting a car. Villa D’Arcy is in a quiet location, but there really isn’t much within walking distance. You will need to drive for dining and to buy groceries. One huge plus to Villa D’Arcy is Marietta, the house keeper. She was extremely nice and a huge help to us. She had prepared a delicious meal that was waiting for us on our arrival. She also prepared 3 more meals for us during our stay, all were excellent local dishes. Pigeon Island Park beach is a quick 5 min drive and very nice. There is an entrance fee but it’s worth is. Reduit Beach in Rodney Bay is very popular, but you get a lot of the cruise ship crowd and a lot of the locals hounding you to buy goods. I highly recommend exploring some of the beaches farther down the islands west coast. Anse Chastanet beach was very nice with probably the best snorkeling on the island. We drove there but you can also get boat taxis from Rodney Bay.
They only possible negative for our entire stay was each night there seemed to be a lot of dog barking. I’m not sure if they are strays or just neighbors pets, but every night at dusk they decided to let you know they were there. This has nothing to do with Villa D’Arcy, but something we noticed about the surrounding area. The two bedrooms have AC, so we just closed the windows and turned the air on so the dogs were not an issue then.
If you are looking for a nice comfortable cottage for 4 in a quiet neighborhood I would highly recommend Villa D’Arcy!! -
Light & Comfortable
We have a had a glorious week's break from the Winter at home in this lovely villa, recently redecorated and furnished to a high standard. It is light and comfortable and feels spacious and airy with the doors open to the verandah all day long, letting in the glorious views. It is very well appointed and has everything you need in the kitchen.
The beautiful verandah was the best place to be for us, watching the skies clear in the morning, the sun go down at night, or dozing after lunch in the shade - bliss! We felt truly transported to another world.
In just a week, we barely had begun to enjoy everything St Lucia has to offer but we had some great trips out exploring the island. We loved Pigeon Island, Smugglers Cove and Gros Islet locally and there is a great choice of places to eat. Soufriere in the south of the island is a lovely place to visit with chocolate plantations at Fond Doux and Hotel Chocolat, The Botanical Gardens and Sulphur Springs. There are many lovely towns, villages and beaches along the way which are on our list to visit the next time we come.
Don't miss out! Reserve now and get a full refund if you change your mind within 48hrs.
