Situated above the serene Trou Rolland Bay, upon a lush tropical hillside on the west coast of St Lucia, Villa Marigots offers spectacular views out over the Caribbean Sea. Just ten-minute’s walk from a quiet sandy beach and a two-minute drive from glamorous Marigot Bay you’ll love its tranquil setting yet know that an array of fantastic amenities are within easy reach.

Commonly referred to as the most beautiful bay in the Caribbean, Marigot Bay boats a stunning sandy beach and lush, tropical landscape, thickly blanketed with flowering trees and coconut palms, cradled by the sparkling Caribbean Sea. A popular spot for yachts and superyachts to berth mean that people and boat watching is a jaw-dropping activity here. There are plentiful shops including high-end designer outlets, delicious local restaurants and vibrant bars making this a popular area to see and be seen in. A great way to take in the epic scenery is from the top of the hill in Marigot Village, but if you would like to see it from the water, renting kayaks to glide through the mangroves is a fantastic activity.

The lively town of Rodney Bay, with its bustling nightlife, attractive marina and many bars, shops and restaurants lies 21km north of the villa and is well worth a visit. Head to popular Reduit Beach, where banana boats whiz across the water and beach front bars pump out lively music. It’s also home to Splash Island Water Park, an essential excursion for kids of all ages. Just a few minutes-drive from here you’ll find the more authentic vibe of Gros Islet, a charming town set to the heartbeat of reggae music, where no holiday would be complete without attending a Jump Up – a fabulous rum infused street party this area is famous for.

Venturing slightly further afield, avid hikers will love to head to the dramatic twin peaks of Gros Piton and Petit Piton 41km south, a breath-taking UNESCO World Heritage site on the southwest of the Island. You can also access this area by boat which makes for an adventure in itself. For the more serene, simply soak in the mud beneath the Sulphur Springs nearby Gros Piton which, if legend prevails, will make you look ten years younger! And no trip to St Lucia is complete without visiting the 19,000 acres of spectacular rainforest just 20km inland. Hike its awe-inspiring trails, take the aerial tram above the canopy or for the more adventurous try your hand at the adrenaline-pumping ziplines.

However, you like to spend your time while on holiday, Villa Marigots will provide you with a lush tropical retreat on the Caribbean coast from which to base yourself whilst planning your next adventure on the beautiful Island of St Lucia.

About the Island & Getting There

About St Lucia

The Land, The People, The Light – St Lucia’s motto couldn’t be more representative of this captivating sovereign island nation. Witness dazzling scenery, be spellbound by the fascinating locals and allow for St Lucia to brighten your day and show you a new way to life.

St Lucia gained its independence from the British Commonwealth in 1979 and after centuries of a French presence, which is most visible today in the original Capital of Soufrière, St Lucia is famous for its Pitons & landscapes and vivacious community.

St Lucia really is a hiker’s Nirvana! Where to start? That’s a tough question. However, with the likes of - The Diamond Botanical Gardens, Enbas Saut Waterfall Trail, Pigeon Island National Park, Sulphur Springs Park Scenic Drive and Tet Paul Nature Trail – it doesn’t matter! These UNESCO listed sites are a sight to behold. If you're likely to take to the water, you'll be able to admire the rich marine biodiversity just off the shore of St Lucia. Over 60% of the marine area is made up of coral reefs and these are very poular with snorkelers and scuba divers. Just make sure you put time aside to relish these privileged land & seascapes.

Start your cultural trip downtown in Castries. Here you will be provided with more than enough entertainment for an afternoon and evening. The local Market runs throughout the week and is certainly the right place to come for exotic fruits and tantalising Street Food - the Green Fig & Salt Fish is local delicacy and it's not scarce, so perhaps try a few variants on this regional intricacy and let us know which is your favourite! The vendors are incredibly animated, so expect a show to be put on if you choose to explore this part of the island and brush up on those haggling skills. La Place Carenage and Point Seraphine are very popular Malls and if you bear in mind the added incentive of these complexes being Duty-Free, you and your guests will certainly get some good deals (A taxi back to your villa after such an excursion is suggested!).

Many holiday makers are surprised to learn of St Lucia’s rich cocoa legacy. Ever since the 1700’s this island has been producing cocoa related products, that are incredibly sought after all across the world. Morne Coubaril Estate and La Dauphine Estate specialise in showcasing how plantations use to gather & manufacture the Cocoa Bean fruit and organise educational tours. After learning all about St Lucia’s former booming cocoa industry, you will probably need some therapy…how about chocolate therapy like you’ve never encountered before? Enquire at some of the islands more renowned Spas and you’ll be able to experience the benefits of a chocolate facial and massage. Remember - Chocolate isn’t a food, it’s a medicine!

We have selected some of the most exciting villas on the island, so browse through these dreamy holiday homes and have a look at our cheeky little guide to St Lucia!

Prior to Booking

    on 02/08/2018

Stayed with my family July 2018. The Villa deserves a 10 rating. It was everything and more. Relaxing, Secluded, Amazing. The views , the grounds/garden, and the home is spectacular. We can't wait to book it again in 2019.

  • Wonderful

    on 11/06/2018

The villa was everything we hoped it would be, and much more! The grounds were well-kept and everything worked great. The views were amazing, and I don’t think any of us got tired of waking up and seeing the island each morning through the bedroom windows or out on the decks. The place was very well kept and extremely clean.

  • A wonderful time!

    on 20/11/2017

Absolutely perfect location for a group of people to hang out.

We held our wedding reception here and could not have asked for a more beautiful place.

The pool! The space! The sunsets!

We had a wonderful time doing nothing at this house.
