Pool Villa/House Resort Villa Modern
Great Value
Beach Nearby Ideal for Kids All Bedrooms En-Suite

Sea Breeze Hills is about as far north as you can go on Saint Lucia and the prestigious Cap Estate and this incredible villa boasts uninterrupted views of the of the Caribbean Sea. More of an estate than just a home, sprawling lawned gardens surround the villa - as do exotic flowering plants – which roll downwards towards the sea. The sloping nature of the location means Villa Martinique’s delightful outside space is terraced, with the pool set below the house.

Villa Martinique consists of three distinct areas, with the centre of the villa being connected by glazed corridors to a left and right wing. The fabulous airy living-dining room is open plan and reminiscent of a plantation house. Several arched windows and French doors allow light to flood in, brightening the white walls and high timbered ceiling, natural stone floor and masterfully chosen furnishings. A modern, well-appointed kitchen leads off the dining area and shaded outdoor terrace, so you can choose to dine indoors or al fresco. Beyond the terrace, sun loungers are waiting for you and your well-earnt siesta.

The master suite occupies the right wing, featuring a king size bed, reception area, en-suite bathroom and direct access out to your very own sun deck and the plunge pool. The left wing is home to three en-suite bedrooms, each luxuriously decorated and boasting mouth-watering views of the sea or lush greenery.

From the bedrooms and terrace, follow the delightful garden path as it winds around and down to your simply stunning pool terrace. Unique in every way, this amazing pool is decorated with a bridge, pretty tiles, graceful steps and, wait for it, a swim-up bar. Wow. With a broad terrace and sumptuous sun loungers, this space was designed for pleasure. Enjoy!

From your pool and terrace, your eye can travel as far as it likes across the big, blue expanse of the Caribbean Sea. Listen to the waves and look out for wildlife, including, rare glimpses of migrating whales. A trail leads down from the edge of the garden to the waterfront, where rock pools and tropical waters await.

Remember, at Villa Martinique you have expansive views of the Caribbean Sea from almost every corner of this fabulous villa and its gardens. Sit and enjoy the big, blue vista and let the calm wash over you.

Beyond the exclusive amenities at Cap Estate, Villa Equinox is just a short distance to a choice of beaches and Castries, Rodney Bay and Pigeon Island are all within a fifteen-minute drive.

Villa Martinique enjoys a commanding position overlooking the Caribbean Sea. This northern tip of the island offers spectacular views of the coastline, sea and the beautiful Cap Estate and golf course. Beyond this tranquil corner, the island’s upbeat tropical vibe is not far away. Head for Reduit Beach at Rodney Bay for palm trees, music, bars, inflatable rides and water sports. You’ll also find a delicious choice of Creole dishes and international foods at the restaurants and cafes lining the beach and marina.

For a night out with the locals, look out for ‘Jump Up’ at Gros Islet. Friday nights see this small village turn into one big street party, where music and food stalls pull locals and visitors together for a fun-filled night of fried chicken, barbecued fish, rum and dancing!

For exploring the island’s delights beneath the waves, Dive Saint Lucia is a state-of-the-art diving school, with training pool, classrooms and two thirty-passenger boats. If you’re already qualified, book a trip and head offshore to see shipwrecks, barracudas, eagle rays and coral reef. If you just fancy a bit of snorkelling, it’s worth donning a mask and snorkel and dipping your head below the surface at most beaches. With Marine Reserve areas further along the coast near The Pitons, all surrounding waters are wonderfully rich with life.

Villa Martinique belongs to Cap Estate, which boasts the island’s only golf course, as well as tennis courts and restaurants. It’s also served by the Dollar Bus service. This chilled-out, fun and cost-effective mode of transport is a great way to travel to Rodney Bay and Castries. Apart from the colourful Saturday morning market, Castries, the capital of Saint Lucia’s island nation, is a wonderful day out. Visit the Cathedral for vibrant murals, Derek Walcott Square, Brazil Street’s ornate buildings and the port, where enormous cruise liners drop anchor.

About the Island & Getting There

About St Lucia

The Land, The People, The Light – St Lucia’s motto couldn’t be more representative of this captivating sovereign island nation. Witness dazzling scenery, be spellbound by the fascinating locals and allow for St Lucia to brighten your day and show you a new way to life.

St Lucia gained its independence from the British Commonwealth in 1979 and after centuries of a French presence, which is most visible today in the original Capital of Soufrière, St Lucia is famous for its Pitons & landscapes and vivacious community.

St Lucia really is a hiker’s Nirvana! Where to start? That’s a tough question. However, with the likes of - The Diamond Botanical Gardens, Enbas Saut Waterfall Trail, Pigeon Island National Park, Sulphur Springs Park Scenic Drive and Tet Paul Nature Trail – it doesn’t matter! These UNESCO listed sites are a sight to behold. If you're likely to take to the water, you'll be able to admire the rich marine biodiversity just off the shore of St Lucia. Over 60% of the marine area is made up of coral reefs and these are very poular with snorkelers and scuba divers. Just make sure you put time aside to relish these privileged land & seascapes.

Start your cultural trip downtown in Castries. Here you will be provided with more than enough entertainment for an afternoon and evening. The local Market runs throughout the week and is certainly the right place to come for exotic fruits and tantalising Street Food - the Green Fig & Salt Fish is local delicacy and it's not scarce, so perhaps try a few variants on this regional intricacy and let us know which is your favourite! The vendors are incredibly animated, so expect a show to be put on if you choose to explore this part of the island and brush up on those haggling skills. La Place Carenage and Point Seraphine are very popular Malls and if you bear in mind the added incentive of these complexes being Duty-Free, you and your guests will certainly get some good deals (A taxi back to your villa after such an excursion is suggested!).

Many holiday makers are surprised to learn of St Lucia’s rich cocoa legacy. Ever since the 1700’s this island has been producing cocoa related products, that are incredibly sought after all across the world. Morne Coubaril Estate and La Dauphine Estate specialise in showcasing how plantations use to gather & manufacture the Cocoa Bean fruit and organise educational tours. After learning all about St Lucia’s former booming cocoa industry, you will probably need some therapy…how about chocolate therapy like you’ve never encountered before? Enquire at some of the islands more renowned Spas and you’ll be able to experience the benefits of a chocolate facial and massage. Remember - Chocolate isn’t a food, it’s a medicine!

We have selected some of the most exciting villas on the island, so browse through these dreamy holiday homes and have a look at our cheeky little guide to St Lucia!

Prior to Booking

Please be aware that St Lucia is an island nation that experiences weather patterns dictated by the Atlantic Ocean to the north of the island and the Caribbean Sea to the south of the island. Sleeping up to eight lucky guests, Villa Martinique can accommodate two families in some style. Or, it’s a perfect venue for a family celebration and get together. The spacious living-dining area is beautiful and more than big enough for socialising and sharing good times. Meals can be taken around the dining table either indoors or out, where the al fresco version overlooks your mouth-watering views of the sea.

Villa Martinique’s wow factor must be her superb pool and deck. Every effort has been made to ensure children and grown-ups enjoy themselves to the max, with a decorative footbridge for strolling over or swimming under, a quirky shape to play in and swim around, incredible views and opulent swim-up bar.

The gardens are paradise for little explorers. A pretty garden path takes you past all three sections of the house, around to the pool terrace and down to the edge of the lawn. From here, the family can take a trail down to the sea and rock pools.

Enjoy days out at Rodney Bay and the capital city of Castries. Both can be reached after a short drive or why not catch the Dollar Bus? It’s cheap, relaxed and fun!

Reviews

  • The most incredible views

    on 30/11/2023

Villa Martinique has the most incredible views and view of Martinique. Town is just 15 mins away with plenty of food options and things to do at the bay, yet far enough away so you are in the most peaceful location. The hosts will give so many options on things to do and amenities. (In villa Massage is a must! We did every day right on the edge of the pool facing the ocean). Illtyd our concierge, was there the next morning making sure we were taken care of, the housekeeper was incredible and made sure we had options and food. My biggest regret with this house was that I only could be there for 3 days before flying out again.

  • I would absolutely stay at Villa Martinique again!

    on 13/07/2023

I would absolutely stay at Villa Martinique again! Everything exceeded my expectations. I have absolutely no complaints. Special Thanks!

  • Great Accomadation but remote

    on 03/08/2017

A very well laid out villa, well kept and spacious. The house keeper / chef was of good quality.
The location has superb views and the pictures on the web site are accurate
We like to walk, but due to its remote location everything is a drive and there is nothing local to walk to. A car is an absolute essential.

  • Beautiful villa with a spectacular view

    on 06/03/2017

Villa Martinique is a beautiful villa with a spectacular view. Its breezy so never hot and no mosquitos! The pool isn't great - the curved shape makes it hard to swim any distance - but the setting makes up for it. And our housekeeper/cook was amazing - she really should open a restaurant. The breeze means there are no umbrellas so if you don't like the sun, you can't stretch out on the lounge chairs but there are shady spots by the house to sit and read.
