In particular, the large infinity pool is a huge draw for visitors and is surrounded by sumptuous loungers and seating areas. There is also a hot tub, chilled towels, pool bar and restaurant. A 25,000-square-foot spa is often named one of the best in the Caribbean, offering a range of treatments and indoor and outdoor relaxation spaces. There is also a well-equipped fitness centre and daily Yoga or Pilates classes. Walking straight onto the white sandy beach within a minute or two of leaving the apartment, with free loungers and sunshades by day, is possible. A range of non-motorised water sports is also available here, including kayaking, paddle boarding and snorkelling. Motorised water sports are available nearby. There is also a mini market, boutique, art gallery, and gift shop a short stroll away.
A range of tempting restaurants can be found within just a few minutes walk from the apartment, including Caribbean fusion food, a beachside eatery, and a bar serving cocktails and tapas. A short meander along the beach or inland also brings more dining and shopping options.
Elsewhere on the island, it is possible to visit a range of well-loved snorkelling and dive sites, including Smith’s Reef and Bight Reef. Other popular places on the island include the Chalk Sound National Park, a national museum, and an array of heritage sites, including some iconic rock carvings. There are also stunning walking trails, brewery tours, and opportunities to explore the island by bicycle, horseback, or all-terrain vehicles (ATVs). Best Suited For: All AgesAs a three-bedroom apartment set on one level, this is an excellent option to accommodate families. In particular, the ample space, the option to add a cot to a room, and the kitchen facilities make catering for young families easy. The kitchen has a stove, microwave, fridge, dishwasher, toaster, blender and plenty of pots, pans and crockery. Laundry facilities are available on-site too. As this is a penthouse apartment, it is necessary to take the lift or stairs to reach it.
For children aged under 12, there is an option to join supervised activities at a kids club during the day. Beach toys and floats are also available for children to use at the beach. For adults who want an evening out to themselves, it is possible to book a babysitter too. The nearby swimming pool and tennis courts are especially popular with families here.
Some of the best things families enjoy together on the island include boat trips, horse riding on the beach, and visits to a dog rescue sanctuary.
