Overview
The name gives the game away – this is a true pool paradise. As part of the Wymara complex on the island of Providenciales on the Turks and Caicos archipelago, take some time to immerse yourself in natural beauty.
Pool Paradise is based in the main reception building of the resort and is accessible by stairs. Your 620 square foot room boasts beautiful pool views and includes a king bed, spacious bathroom with frosted glass shower in the centre, kitchenette, sitting area and a terrace overlooking the pool, ideal for a spot of people watching.
Ideal for a couple, this is a truly heavenly escape for those who crave peace, calm but also adventure should that be what you seek. Whether you’re a sun worshipper, water baby, keen golfer or adrenaline junkie, there’s no end to what you can do on this Eden-like island. You’re also close to the ocean with Grace Bay Beach firmly on your doorstep.
The open-plan design of Pool Paradise allows you to cook up a storm in your own fully equipped kitchenette, snuggle up in the seating area, relax in your king suite and enjoy pool-side views out on the terrace.
There are numerous comforts to enjoy here including a daily hearty American breakfast. With a kitchen kitted out with Liebherr, Gaggenau and Bosch appliances, you can also enjoy rustling up your own favourite treats.
Your custom glass-encased Kohler Watertile rain shower creates a truly tropical feel and promises to refresh. You can also make use of the convenient electric blackout blinds to promise a distraction free night’s sleep and get cosy with plush Frette towels and indulgent robes.
Security is guaranteed with your laptop-sized safe for valuables, and with daily housekeeping and evening turndown services to ensure that you feel comfortable continuously in your chic and elegant space, you’ll quickly feel at home.
There’s plenty to entertain with your LCD TV, DVD player and Bose iPod docking stereo. You’ll also find an assortment of DVDs (more than 250 in fact) so you can enjoy a range of entertainment and genres to kick back and relax with. At night, unwind in the dreamy Sterling Hospitality Sleep System beds with 400 thread count Frette bedding.
The Turks and Caicos Islands, located in the Caribbean, are an archipelago of 40 islands and cays. A truly remote location, only eight of these islands are inhabited by people. The big draw, the unique selling point of the location, are its opulent waters, beautiful white sand beaches and aquatic life bursting forth from unique coral reefs. Water babies adore this paradise, but so do sun stalkers, readers and relaxers and poolside recliners. For those seeking a slightly more adventurous experience, there’s also opportunities to dive, snorkel and enjoy a range of water sports.
At your front door you’ll find the lovely Grace Bay, a beautiful place to whittle away the days and reconnect with a quieter pace of life. At the complex, enjoy the poolside and beachfront restaurants, treat yourself at the spa, work out at the gym, have a drink at the bar and swim laps of the infinity pool.
Here, the world is your oyster.
What you should know…
- There are many ATMs on the island, but having cash on your person is advised for smaller establishments. The island accepts payment in US dollars.
- Be mindful of the season. You can plan to avoid hurricane season and coincide with whale migration season.
- Mosquitoes seem to love the island just as much as we do. Bring bug spray, and remember that mosquitoes are most active at dusk and dawn.
- To avoid disappointment book activities and restaurants in advance, especially during the peak season (typically December to April).
- Wymara Resort is cashless, none of the outlets will accept cash, only card payments.

Location
About the surrounding area of Pool ParadiseBased on the Wymara resort on the island Providenciales in the Turks and Caicos Islands, you’re a mere stone’s throw from Grace Bay Beach which calls travellers much like a siren summons sailors to its white-sand beach and turquoise waters. It continues to be ranked one of the world’s most beautiful beaches. So, whether you like to soak in the sun, go snorkelling, diving or taking to the water by daredevil water sports, you’ll find plenty to do, or not do, as the case may be!
The resort itself could keep you occupied for the entirety of your trip. Enjoy the vast infinity pool, read a book, enjoy seafood at the beachside restaurant or an assortment of other delicacies at the poolside bar, treat yourself at the spa or work on your fitness at the gym.
Outside of the resort, you might want to explore the coral gardens reef which forms part of the Princess Alexandra National Park. This area offers wonderful opportunities to snorkel, dive, and take in the astonishing natural beauty surrounding you. Renowned for its unique coral formations, thriving marine life and clear waters, this is a must see for any bucket list.
Back on dry land, take some time to head to the Provo Golf Club, which you'll find close by. Here you can enjoy an 18-hole golf course and be truly challenged whether you're a golf pro or a newbie. Surrounded by verdant nature, this is an unmissable experience whether you're a lifelong golfer or just want to give it a try.
Why not head to Bight Park? This is a wonderfully picturesque, family-friendly area with playgrounds and an array of walking routes - we suggest packing a picnic and taking it all in. Over at Graceway Plaza, you can enjoy a different type of experience. Try shopping at any of the lovely boutiques, enjoy a coffee at a delightful cafe or treat your taste buds to a range of cuisines. You can also visit the grocery store and make some fresh local purchases to whip something tasty up for dinner back at your holiday home.
Further afield, fans of boating and sailing will want to visit Turtle Cove Marina, a place where you can charter a boat, fish, and yes, enjoy even more water sports. Chalk Sound National Park allows you to take in a lush lagoon peppered with islands and mangroves. You can take it all in from the shore or you can try your hand at paddle boarding or kayaking making for a more immersive way of exploring the area. Both can be rented on-site.
Try snorkelling or diving at Coral Gardens and Smith’s Reef which both offer ample opportunity to explore the beauty living beneath the water.
Foodies will know that conch, a type of sea snail, is used throughout the cuisine on the island. Head to Conch Farm to learn more about these creatures and their role on the island. How did they become such a staple? What makes them such a popular accompaniment to so many delicacies?
If you happen to be visiting between January and April, you’ll likely witness whales during their migration. This is an unmissable experience.
You might also want to take in the history and culture of the island with a visit to Cockburn Town on Grand Turk – a great opportunity to learn about the indigenous Lucayan people who initially called the island home.
With ample culture, history and beauty, there’s plenty to enjoy, whatever your preference.

Best Suited For: All AgesFamilies flock here. What with the sea, sand and sun, there’s so much to adore. At your resort, you can enjoy pool access, various restaurants and a gym and a spa, making it a wonderful base.
The resort overlooks Grace Bay Beach, which boasts gentle and calm water and delectable white sand. It truly is a picturesque location and consistently ranks as one of the most beautiful beaches in the world.
You can sit and enjoy the beguiling nature, swim, paddleboard, read or indulge in a beach-side snack. To bring things up a gear, why not go snorkelling? You can do this at Grace Bay Beach, but we’d also recommend Bight Reef at Coral Gardens and Smith’s Reef.
What makes the area so sensational are its striking coral formations and brightly coloured fish. You can also enjoy water sports and activities here, from the gentler pedalo experience to a banana boat ride.
Children will adore a day spent at Conch Farm, where they can learn more about the conch. Conches are used as a key ingredient in meals across the island. They are somewhat of a staple. Kids can even hold a baby conch as they learn about its origins and prevalence in the islands cuisine.
For a day of adrenaline and adventure, take a trip to Pirate’s Island Waterpark. You can enjoy the energetic splash zones, a thrilling array of water slides and the last river. You’ll find activities for children of all ages here, from the more shy and retiring to the energetic and playful. Across the island of Providenciales, there’s a great deal more to do. You can enjoy a horseback ride along the sands, take an island eco-tour, paddle board and kayak as you learn more about the ecosystems of the area, and head to Iguana Island, where you can see the native iguanas flourishing and languishing in their native habitat.
