Great Value
Beach Nearby Ideal for Kids Hot Tub Walk to Village

This eye-catching holiday home can be found near the village of Baska Voda, on the Dalmatian coastline, close to the Makarska Riviera. Built alongside the impressive Biokovo mountain range, there are fantastic views from all the balconies and terraces...perfect for a touch of romance.

Entering the grounds, you are immediately greeted by an impressive garden area that is furnished with plenty of seating & dining spaces, as well as a barbecue grill that has a sink attached. This is a magnificent setting for a late evening dinner, whilst the sun is setting.

The villa is split between three levels, which provides ample space for guests to roam freely without feeling confined! On the lower ground level there is a modern sauna and small fitness area, which is ideal for those who are keen to work up a sweat before tackling the infinity swimming pool. The pool itself has all the features to make your downtime that much more enjoyable. It has been installed with a modern water purification system, as well as a water & air massage and LED light therapy features.

The interior style of the villa has been conceived around the conceptualisation of Minimalist and Traditional themes, producing a stress-free environment. There are two interior kitchens, spread across two floors – meaning you and your guests can split the burden of cooking or even better, challenge one another to ‘Cook-Offs’.

The first double bedroom, with en-suite bathroom, can be found on the lower ground floor. This is better suited for those who might struggle with staircases. The remaining four double bedrooms are located on the second floor and all have en-suite bathrooms and beautiful views of the surrounding countryside.

Baška Voda is particularly synonymous for its Baroque and Gothic architecture, much of which dates from the 16th Century. Therefore, we recommended visits to The Church of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary, St. Roko & St. Nikola Church as well as St. Lovre. To further gain a bit more understanding of this village’s past and to better understand the Dalamatia culture and history, pay a visit to the Malacological Museum and the MGD Gallery.

With impressive landscapes, Baška Voda will provide the most active of visitors with an ample selection of activities – particularly the water sports. Good places to check are Water Sports Ancora Jet and Scuba Diving Center Poseidon. With the Biokovo on your doorstep, keen walkers will be eager to tackle the Sveti Jure summit. From this peak, you will be able to take in the glorious scenery.

Baška Voda is positioned between Brela and Makarska, making it a fantastic destination for groups who are keen to do some exploring during the day.

Region

Brela, a picturesque region on the Makarska Riviera in Croatia, is renowned for its stunning coastline, crystal-clear waters, and natural beauty. It offers a blend of serene relaxation and outdoor adventures, making it a perfect destination for various types of travellers.

Brela is renowned for its stunning beaches, often hailed as some of Croatia's finest. Punta Rata Beach, a Blue Flag beach, is particularly notable for its fine pebbles and crystal-clear, turquoise waters, earning frequent spots on the world's best beaches. Equally enchanting is Podrače Beach, celebrated for its picturesque beauty. Beyond lounging on these beautiful shores, Brela offers a plethora of water sports. Enthusiasts can delve into snorkelling and scuba diving to uncover the vibrant underwater life. Meanwhile, kayaking and stand-up paddleboarding provide fantastic ways to explore the scenic coastline and its secluded coves.

While Brela may not be a traditional sightseeing destination, it does offer a few noteworthy attractions. Among these is the Lady of Karmen Church, constructed in 1730, a quaint historical site worth visiting. Another iconic feature is the Kamen Brela, a picturesque small rock island just off the coast, regarded as a symbol of the town. One of the most enjoyable activities in Brela is taking a leisurely walk along the lungomare, the scenic seaside promenade. This charming pathway stretches for over 7 kilometres, winding through Brela and extending beyond, making it perfect for a pleasant stroll, cycling, or jogging while soaking in the coastal beauty.

Brela's culinary scene is a delight for food enthusiasts, with its restaurants and taverns offering lovely Dalmatian cuisine. The focus is on fresh, locally sourced ingredients, especially seafood, paired with the region's renowned olive oil and fine wines. Each meal becomes a memorable experience, especially when enjoyed with a stunning view of the sea at sunset.

Just inland from Brela, the imposing Biokovo Mountain dominates the landscape, home to the magnificent Biokovo Nature Park. This park is a haven for outdoor enthusiasts, offering an array of hiking and biking trails that reward with breathtaking vistas of the Adriatic Sea and the surrounding islands. A highlight within the park is the newly opened Skywalk - a glass-floored observation deck that juts out over the cliffs, providing a heart-pounding perspective of the stunning scenery below. For those craving more adventure, the nearby Cetina River area is perfect for adrenaline seekers. Zip-lining through its lush forests and dramatic gorges offers an exhilarating rush, while the local adventure parks cater to all ages with a variety of ropes courses and climbing opportunities.

The enchanting Brela region is a captivating blend of stunning beaches, rugged mountains, and a vibrant atmosphere that leaves a lasting impression on all who visit. Whether you're a nature enthusiast, a history lover, or simply seeking a tranquil seaside retreat, Brela caters to every type of traveller, making it an ideal destination for discovering the varied charms of the Dalmatian region.

Kids

Best Suited For: All Ages
Ideal for Kids Ideal for Teens

Baška Voda and the surrounding regions offer plenty to do for the family and more importantly, the kids. Car hire is recommended, in order to make the most of your visit though. The car is particularly important for trips to Biokovo Natural Park, Park Suma Osejava and day trips to Makarska.

Along this strip of stunning coastline, you’ll be able to find plenty of beaches that offer paddle-boats, banana rides or jet ski services. The children will love these exhilarating experiences and will adore the crystal-clear waters.

Once you have perfected the art of staying dry and have acquired your sea legs, take the family to the nearest Tennis Centre that is in Makarska. The tennis centre has coaches ready to hand who do several child friendly classes throughout the day. After the days fun in Makarska, choose from a selection of cafés and restaurants to appease those fussy little eaters.

The perfect way to finish a day with the family is to visit the Makarska Observatory. This was opened in 2017 and has modern facilities for guests to experience as well as exhibitions of the Solar System…A Must Visit!

  • Unique view

    on 29/01/2023

A very quiet and peaceful place with a unique view. The combination of mountains, forest and sea is simply amazing. The villa is large and spacious, has everything you need for a comfortable stay.
To get to the sea, you need to go by car.

  • Lovely villa, helpful host, fabulous holiday

    on 05/06/2022

We stayed here as a family group of 5 adults and 3 children. The villa was spotless and well equipped and we received a warm welcome from our host Nikolina. The views are fantastic and it’s very peaceful so we immediately felt relaxed. During our stay we visited nearby Baska Voda a couple of times, the beach and restaurants there are great. Unfortunately too far to walk to beach or nearest shop so you definitely need a hire car. We would definitely recommend this villa and the area and would love to visit again in the future.

  • The most luxurious villa we have ever stayed in!

    on 15/10/2018
