Location
About the surrounding area of Villa InkaVilla Inka is located in the village of Milna, on the Island Brac in a serene location with views of the sea, which is a mere ten-minute walk from the property. The closest beach is under two kilometres away and gives way to wonderfully warm and clear water lending many wonderful opportunities to swim, snorkel and enjoy looking at the underwater world.
You’re in close proximity to a minimarket, bakery, and restaurant and a short drive to shops, pharmacies and many more restaurants as you enter the centre of Milna.
Milna itself is a traditional Mediterranean fishing village – a wander around will make you feel you’ve travelled back in time to the peace and ease of a gentler age. Here, life is slow and calm making it the perfect getaway from our hectic modern world. Star attractions are the harbour and marina, with stretches of sand either side as well as pebble beaches including Vlaska Cove. During the summer months, catamarans frequently travel from Split to Milna and then on to the island of Hvar and the walled city of Dubrovnik. You may also wish to arrange a private boat which can take you from Split to Milna.
Although the area itself is humble and peaceful, there’s a tremendous amount to do if you’re looking for a more active holiday. As you might expect, a lot of activities are centred around water, with options like sea kayaking, scuba diving, snorkelling and kite-boarding. The Adriatic Sea is striking and there are many ways to become more acquainted with it. One of the best ways to feel the flow of the area is to explore it beneath the water. Boat rentals are also popular so that you can travel along the west coast of the island of Brac. You’ll be able to explore the Dalmatian archipelago.
There’s also opportunities to dive into traditional Island life. You may wish to visit the old town of Donji Humac, where you can take a workshop to learn how to process stone. The oldest part of the island is known as Skrip, and here you can see how oil olive was traditionally made, while also enjoying a taste. The surrounding views are truly something, and include sights of Vidova Gora, Bol and the many islands of the area.
The south coast of Brac Island is intriguing. From here, you can easily book a day trip to Hvar Island, with its history and fine-dining experiences. Brac itself is home to many a hike or bike trail, some of the more popular trails take you from Golden Horn in Bol, to Vidova Gora, Murvica to the fascinatingly named Dragon’s Cave. If you enjoy mountain biking or cycling, Brac is a great place to indulge your passion.
If you wish to explore Croatia’s second most popular city of Split, there are several options, including a catamaran or combined drive to Supetar, and then a ferry. In total it’s about an hour and a half journey. Split itself is a fascinatingly historic city and offers everything you might expect. As a UNESCO world heritage site, it’s an absolute must-see whilst in the area.

Amazing villa, great location, excellent host
What an amazing villa, super modern with everything you could ask for & more. We were a family of 7 and the villa had plenty space for more. Excellent indoor and outdoor spaces and the pool was perfect. We loved the outdoor BBQ and seating area where many a dinner was served up. Inside, the villa is decorated to a high standard, with super comfy beds, aircon everywhere and bathrooms out of a hotel. The kitchen and cooking facilities were top notch, right down to the countertop icemaker, smoothie machine and coffee maker.
Mislav (the host) couldn't have been more accommodating, with many local suggestions for things to do/places to see. He organized 'peka' for us (traditional lamb dish made under hot coals) from a local Shepard, which we collected hot - so delicious (fed 11 of us). He also sourced local sheep cheese which we bought and shared with him. Such a genuine and lovely person!
The location was prefect for us, cross the road and a small path takes you down the hill into town in a 10min walk.
Milna itself was amazing, so picturesque with lots of options for eating, drinking, coffee and mini supermarkets.
We wouldn't hesitate to return to Villa Inka -
Beautiful villa, great location, friendly host
The villa is beautiful, spacious, clean, well equipped and in a great location. We had everything we needed, and the host was really friendly and helpful with tips for places to eat, visit and shop. The outside space, swimming pool and outdoor kitchen bbq were perfect for our family. Milna is a great size town to visit, lots of places to eat, a beautiful little harbour and a pebble beach within walking distance. Easy to catch the ferry to Hvar from Milna and also lots of places to visit by car on Brac. Highly recommended.

Superb Property
Superb property in a beautiful location, with an amazing view of the sea. The property is modern, light & spacious with a well equipped kitchen & BBQ & a beautifully appointed pool. An added bonus is it is walking distance to the pretty seaside town of Milna, which has passenger ferries to Split & Hvar.

We will be returning!
This phenomenal villa is in a beautiful, secluded setting. The host was exceptional, nothing was too much trouble for them to make our stay perfect. Everything in the villa is of the highest quality and anything you could possibly need was thought of. The villa design is contemporary and stylish. The pool and outdoor kitchen area is relaxing. The entire villa and outdoor areas were so clean that it looked brand new. The local town is unspoilt and has everything a tourist could need without being surrounded by lots of other tourists. The locals are both friendly and welcoming. The island itself is stunning but it is easy to travel between islands or mainland Villa Inka was the perfect base fir our family holiday. We will be returning!

Wonderful
What a wonderful week at Villa Inka in Milna, Brac. The villa was very luxurious, modern, and spacious, and was perfect for our 2 families. Everything felt brand new. The swimming pool was very nice with views down to the sea in Milna. Mislav, the owner, was very helpful and gave us lots of wonderful recommendations of restaurants and places to visit. He went out of his way to be the perfect host. Milna is a pretty place with plenty of good restaurants and is a great base to explore Brac and the other nearby islands. Getting out on a boat is a must. It was out first trip to Croatia, and it definitely won’t be our last!

Would absolutely recommend
We rented Villa Inka for a week in July 2023. It is a very nice and modern building with an amazing outdoor area – an exclusive feel all around. The host (Mislav) is very nice and accommodating gentleman – no fuss and no problems. The place was very clean and nice. The biggest bonus, Mislav introduced us to the neighbours who made a very nice ‘pekka’ – the best meal of the trip! Would absolutely recommend Villa Inka! (We were 2 families of 4 and a mother-in-law).
