Sutivan is located on the northwest coast of Brac, in front of Split on the mainland. Sutivan is a small, tranquil village with beautiful beaches. The pretty promenade runs from the little harbour Lucica to the bays of Likve, Prubuje, Stinive, Stipanske, Male Tihe and the Vicja Luka harbour. Sutivan is surrounded by olive groves, vineyards, mandarin fields and forests. Jakov Natalis-Bozicevic is a stunning building built in 1505 and the 17th century castle Kastil Marijanovic stands proud on the eastern part of the harbour. The summer cottage of Kavanjin was built between 1690 and 1705 with a pretty baroque garden. The village boasts several excellent restaurants and bars. A festival of extreme sports takes place in the village every May. The park is lovely with a small zoo as well as bowling, basketball, football and a small playground.

Milna is located on the north-west side of Brac. The Venetians called it ‘Valle di mille navi’ (the bay of a thousand ships) due to the welcoming bays of Milna. The stone houses along the stunning coastline are small masterpieces of plebeian architecture and the Baroque church with its typical Dalmation bell tower is very beautiful. Milna will enchant you with its healthy Mediterranean cuisine, specialising in fresh fish, quality olive oil and home-made wines. You can enjoy sailing, fishing or scuba-diving from the harbours.

Also beautiful are the delightful coves of Osibova and Lucice, the Bobovisca harbour, Selca, Sumartin, Lozisca village and the nearby small island of Mrdulja situated at the entrance of the harbour.

Brac is famous for it’s very attractive, white stone. The famous White House in Washington is made from Brac stone. It is also famous for its  ‘buhavica’ olive oil, cheese, wine, honey and wine. The Stina Winery on the waterfront at Bol is lovely and the Prosec, a little like Australian muscat, is delicious.

Most famous of all though is the mesmerizing Zlatni Rat beach at Bol. Thanks to its particular shape, it one of the most exceptional beaches in the world. Zlatni Rat’s elegance and appeal have made it the symbol of both the town of Bol and Croatia. The beach is protected by the government of Croatia as a geo-morphological monument.

The sun-kissed island of Brač, situated off Croatia’s stunning Dalmatian Coast, is much more than just a destination; it's an intriguing tapestry of culture, nature, and history. Brač is an island where the past and present seamlessly intertwine, and the beauty of the landscape is as enticing as its history is enthralling.

Located on the north coast of Brač, and connecting it to the mainland, is the port town of Supetar. It provides a warm welcome to the island, offering an array of cosy cafes serving up strong Croatian coffee and freshly baked pastries. The town’s palm-fringed promenade is a delightful spot for a stroll, and the Romanesque architecture and historic churches are testaments to its enduring history.

Just 40 minutes away, on the south coast of the island, is the idyllic town of Bol, renowned for its beautiful beaches. The most notable is the picture-perfect Zlatni Rat, known as the ‘Golden Horn’ - a stunning natural phenomenon that shifts shape with the tides and winds. Walking along the charming seafront, you'll be immersed in the island's culture, with the scent of lavender lingering in the air from local shops selling handmade products.

Often listed as one of the prettiest towns in Europe, Pučišća is a small coastal town with a big personality, known for its white limestone and beautiful bay. As you wander through the town's enchanting streets, you'll encounter architectural gems built from the island's famous white stone that has been used in iconic structures worldwide, including the White House in Washington, D.C.

For the nature enthusiasts and adventure seekers, Brač offers an array of adventures. From windsurfing and scuba diving in the crystal-clear waters, to hiking the island's trails and cycling through the picturesque countryside, there's no shortage of activities to keep you engaged. A visit to Vidova Gora is an absolute must for any active traveller after their adrenaline fix! As the highest peak of all the Adriatic islands, it offers a breathtaking panorama of Brač and its surrounding islands. Brac Island is a fantastic destination. The beaches enjoy soft glistening sand, crystal clear water and a good variety of watersports. Not only is Zlatni Rat Beach stunning, it is perfect for children. After a day on the beach you should head to the Vidova Gora lookout. It is the highest peak on Brac and boasts amazing, panoramic views down to Bol and the beach as well as other islands. Some of the other popular beaches are Supetar Bay, Sumartin Beach, Murvica Beach and Lovrecina Bay. You can take boat trips from many places or hire a boat for the day so that you can explore the coastline.

With stone and olive oil being so famous on the island, children may be interested to learn about this. Visitors can join an informative tour of a stone masonry school in Pucisca, visit a traditional olive oil factory in Skrip and explore many historic buildings on the island. Skrip village is the oldest on the island so you will probably find the museum there fascinating.

At Supetar there is a little submarine in the harbour, mini golf and an inflatable water play area. You can hire quad bikes for the day to drive around the island. There is also a small animal park above Supetar.

Cycling is very popular on Brac. There are so many places to hire bikes and so many biking tracks to discover this wonderful, pretty island.
