Soak up the warm Croatian sunshine at Villa Pitaya, a spacious four-bedroom property boasting an abundance of laidback Mediterranean charm! With an unforgettable location on the island of Šolta, the villa features contemporary interiors, a sun-drenched terrace, a private swimming pool and a relaxing jacuzzi. Situated in the idyllic village of Grohote, the oldest and largest village on the island, there is a treasure trove of beautiful beaches to explore nearby.
Azure skies and the gentle sea breeze will draw you outside to the villa’s expansive stone terrace each morning, where you can enjoy a refreshing dip in the heated swimming pool or unwind on a comfortable sun lounger. If an afternoon swim in the ocean takes your fancy, the secluded shores of Banje Beach are just two kilometres away. Later on, the villa’s covered outdoor lounge provides the ideal spot for a glass of wine at sunset, or everyone can gather together at the outdoor dining area for a delicious barbecue prepared at Villa Pitaya’s traditional Dalmatian grill. Once the stars appear, you can relax in the jacuzzi on the wooden sun deck.
An abundance of natural light flows into the open-plan living space on Villa Pitaya’s ground floor, where guests will find a stylish lounge area. The living space also features a fully equipped kitchen with a breakfast bar and a charming dining area where everyone can discuss the day’s adventures. The first of the villa’s bedrooms is a bright, airy double room with direct access to the outdoor lounge area on the terrace and a private shower. A separate family bathroom and convenient laundry facilities are also available on the villa’s ground floor.
Three more delightful bedrooms are located on the first floor of Villa Pitaya. A welcoming twin bedroom features modern, enchanting views of the village of Grohote and an en-suite bathroom with a walk-in shower. Both remaining bedrooms offer queen-size beds, well-appointed en-suite bathrooms with showers, and private balconies with outdoor seating. Each bedroom has a flat-screen TV, and the villa is fully air-conditioned throughout.

Perfect setting!
A perfect setting for a great family holiday! The Villa was immaculate and the host was fantastic. The towns nearby are stunning, a short bus or taxi ride away. Local shops / bars within a short walking distance. They even sourced a baby gate to stop my 1 year old playing on the stairs! From a parents point of view i must say the tiles around the pool are perfect, non slip and do not heat up at all. The only item missing was oven gloves, but the host has taken that feedback and actioned!

In my opinion, if you are considering staying here, do it. Villa Pitaya is amazing! Solta is a charming, traditional, and unspoilt island with a number of picturesque villages and harbours. Grohote, a short pleasant walk from the villa, has a few shops to buy food and drink. With a view over the roofs and church of Grohote to one side and the sea across to Split on the other, Villa Pitaya is an amazing luxury retreat. Everything was perfect, incredible decor, great spaces inside and out, a pool and hot tub, great wifi, everything you could wish for. Every room was spotlessly clean, beds were comfy, a well-appointed kitchen had everything you might need. It really did feel like luxury at every level. The hosts were great, amazing communication throughout, and even organised our transfers to and from the island. We definitely recommend it and intend to come back as Croatia, Solta and especially the Villa Pitaya were all perfect.
