Deep in the dense green forests of Croatia’s southernmost point, directly on the border with Montenegro and under an hour from the vibrant alleys of Dubrovnik, Villa Marta is a mystical villa built in the most romantic and awe-inspiring natural location!

The moment you cross the threshold, you will appreciate the design of this villa! Refurbished in 2017, the interiors are stylish, bright and airy. In the living room, there is a smart TV in front of a set of comfy sofas and direct access to the wonderful garden beyond. The kitchen has a large dining area for the whole group to gather for meal times.

The first of four welcoming double bedrooms is on the ground floor, while the remaining three are on the first floor. The ground-floor room has direct access to the pool terrace, while the upstairs rooms have a balcony to enjoy the sunshine and peaceful surroundings. Two rooms enjoy fantastic ensuite facilities, while the other two share a family bathroom.

The peace and tranquillity of the rural location can be felt in the magnificent garden. Of course, the private pool and sun terrace are the undoubtable highlights, providing calm and beauty for a dip. Immediately outside, you will find a large veranda with a casual seating area where you can gaze out over the countryside. To one side, there is a second, covered area with a barbeque and dining area, where you can prepare a meal in the summer kitchen and make the most of the enchanting location with an alfresco meal! The property has a children’s play area, table football and even badminton, making it ideal for families!

  • You’re right on the border with Montenegro – great for visiting another fabulous country on your trip, just make sure you have the right documentation if you’re wishing to cross the border!
  • Due to the limited public transport in Croatia, we recommend hiring a car throughout your stay.
  • Please be mindful of children playing by the pool as there is no fence.

Villa Marta is ideally placed to enjoy Croatia’s famously beautiful natural landscape. Tucked away in the forests and ten minutes from the beach, it is also under an hour from Dubrovnik, so you can soak up the history, culture, and fabulous traditions of the cities!

Dubrovnik itself is a feast for the eyes. In its Old Town, amongst the winding cobbled streets and vast, beautiful squares, you will find endless tiny restaurants, shops, galleries, and cafes. Active holiday-makers will be delighted with the offerings, including windsurfing, scuba diving, rock climbing, hang-gliding, and walking. Both along the dramatic coastal paths and in the mountains inland, you will find an abundance of pristine paths for cycling and rugged off-road hiking trails.

You’re also moments from the fascinating country of Montenegro, with its pristine coastline and quaint seaside towns, so you can easily explore an extra country during your stay! Dubrovnik International Airport is within a short drive of the villa, while the city is a hub for those getting ferries.

Security deposit There is no security deposit, but should there be any damage or loss caused by you or your guests during your stay you may be liable for the cost.

Linen & towels included? Please note that there is a 7-night minimum stay
Heating costs included? Yes, included in the rental price.
End of stay cleaning included? Yes. However, guests are required to leave the accommodation clean, tidy and in the same condition as on their arrival. Any extra cleaning, laundry, maintenance and/or rubbish disposal required will be charged against the security deposit.
Internet access? Complimentary Wi-Fi internet access is included in rental price. It is good to note that the speed is dependent on the local provider and technical issues may cause reduced speed or cut of service.
Minimum stay 7 nights.
Changeover day Saturday, any other day on request.
Pets welcome? Not allowed.
Smoking Allowed? Smoking & Vaping are not permitted.
Tax Included in the rental price.
Pool opening dates? The pool is open from May to September. Please note that pool opening dates are subject to local weather conditions and pool maintenance requirements and that cooler months may not be suitable for swimming.
