Offering breathtaking views over the other forested islands and the glistening Adriatic Sea, Villa Jahta is a dream destination just 250 metres from the coast. Everything is within walking distance—which is just as well, as cars are not allowed on this idyllic island!
As the ferry approaches Lopud, you'll begin to appreciate the striking beauty of an island comprised only of endless trees and Mediterranean vegetation, picturesque sandy beaches, charming seaside cottages and unbeatable restaurants.
The villa itself is built in traditional stone and oozes grandeur and rustic charm, with terracotta tiles throughout and wooden beam ceilings. Yet it enjoys a vast array of modern facilities, including full air conditioning and Wi-Fi throughout.
The living room is spacious, with a large L-shaped sofa in front of the TV, and the kitchen is similarly styled. Rustic colours complement the entirely modern fittings beautifully! There's a large dining area in the kitchen and the many alfresco dining tables on the terraces.
There are six bedrooms in total and two single sofa beds that can be used to create space for even more guests to enjoy this fantastic villa! Four double and two twin rooms make this a flexible villa for a large group!
Three bedrooms have private bathrooms, while the other three share two family bathrooms. Three bathtubs and two showers ensure something that suits everybody's tastes! All six rooms are spacious and elegantly designed, some with stone interior walls adding to the villa's beautiful rustic charm!
Your fabulous garden in enchanting woodland surroundings comprises a pool terrace with a private pool at its centre for your exclusive use! Sun loungers and parasols surround it, and from it, you can enjoy magnificent views over the sea and islands.
Whether socialising, swimming, or even snoozing, this is an idyllic spot to enjoy all your daily activities! Alfresco dining to one side offers the most picturesque, sunny place to enjoy your meals! There are further social spots for dining, drinking, and relaxing throughout the garden, giving everyone all the space they could wish for on their special holiday on Lopud!
Stroll out of your front door and down to the beautiful beaches with crystal-clear waters, or admire the traditional buildings scattered across the island. Lopud is merely brimming with sandy beaches and elegant old buildings, including the enchanting Sunj beach, which is the largest sandy beach in the entire Dubrovnik region!
What you should know…
- There are two foldout beds available for an additional two guests
- A caretaker lives in an entirely separate building on site and is open to assist guests
- There are no cars permitted on Lopud, so don’t organise rental, it’ll be no use to you here! Transfers can be arranged between the airport and the island
- There are around 200 steps to the villa which due to the secluded location are uneven, therefore this villa is not suitable for those with mobility issues.
- Lopud is a small island and everything can be reached on foot. The local town is just down the steps from the villa, where guests can find restaurants, two small grocery shops, a bakery, coffee shops.

About the surrounding area of Villa JahtaVilla Jahta is ideally placed to enjoy Croatia's history, culture and fabulous climate, yet is a unique destination, located on a tranquil, car-free island! The villa's unique location means that access to it is challenging; there are multiple steps up to the villa, which are uneven and may not be suitable for those with mobility issues.
The island of Lopud, the middle of the three principal Elaphite islands, is brimming with sandy beaches and elegant old buildings, including the famous Sunj beach, the largest sandy beach in the entire Dubrovnik region.
Dubrovnik itself is a visual masterpiece. In amongst the winding cobbled streets and vast, beautiful squares of its Old Town, you will find endless tiny restaurants, shops, galleries and cafes. Each twist and turn brings a new delight – from the baroque St. Blaise Church to the Renaissance Sponza Palace and the Gothic Rector's Palace, historical and architectural masterpieces are tucked away in this majestic walled city.
Dubrovnik International Airport is 37km from the villa, while the city is a major hub for those getting ferries.

In the fantastic sea, which you can spot no matter where you tuck yourself away on this island, there are opportunities to enjoy just about every water sport you can think of! Water-skiing, kayaking, jet skiing, kite-surfing… you name it!
All along the endless coastlines you will find opportunities to rent boats, pedalos and snorkelling equipment (or even scuba diving if you’re feeling up to it!) to enjoy the pristine beaches and bays, while inland among the deep green, rolling mountains there are some of the most beautiful cycling and hiking trails in Europe.

Fantastic villa!
Villa Jahta was a fantastic base for a wonderful holiday in Croatia. With plenty of space for our party of 9 (and a bathroom for everyone!), the most incredible views, all the facilities we could want, and being in close proximity to more amenities than we even anticipated, the villa and its surrounds made for an idyllic holiday. Lopud proved to be the perfect location for our extended family group which ranged from 9 to 46 year olds! The beaches were perfect, the range of restaurants impressive, the shops more comprehensive in their stocks than we were anticipating, and the architecture and views just breathtaking. This was all topped off by the most friendly people including the villa's caretaker who could not do enough for us and felt like a friend by the end of our stay. The trip to Dubrovnik was easy and enjoyed by all and the transfers to and from the villa were not only seamless but also a memorable part of our experience themselves.

We have just returned from our family holiday to Lopud and I just wanted to say wow! We had the best time ever and literally cannot recommend the island enough.
The villa was spectacular feeling like a home and we loved the amount of space we had along with the kids spending most of their time in the pool. The views from the villa were amazing and more than made up for the crazy amount of steps (that we did know about) to get to the villa.
The restaurants and food were top class and the beach was beautiful with the most amazing crystal clear water. However, nothing made the holiday quite like the locals, I can honestly say the island was full of the friendliest people we have ever met. -

The best place to stay! Amazing atmosphere! the house is wonderful, the view is amazing, the accommodations were fantastic and the size was perfect for 5 of us. Felt too good to be true and hope to be back again. Would definitely recommend staying there...

The best!
We travel a lot and can count multiple stays in nearly 30 countries and we can honestly say that our stay at Villa Jahta has been the best of all. First, the island of Lopud is just 10 minutes off the coast of Dubrovnik, so it can be as quiet as you like or, if you want more action, Dubrovnik is just a short boat ride away. The island itself is breath-taking, with lush landscape, miles of hiking trails and several beaches. Ancient ruins and churches are interesting to explore, as are the cliffs that overlook the stunning Adriatic. The house itself is settled quietly on the hillside, with one of the best views of the town below and the sea beyond. The pool is perfect and our kids loved to play while the adults enjoyed music on the deck under the beautiful April/May sun. Inside, the home is perfectly suited for large or multiple families, with the most comfortable beds for everyone. Our group had 6 adults and seven children, aged 8-13, and there was plenty of room for all of us. The property boasts a huge kitchen, 2 living rooms and many bathrooms so we were all very comfortable. It is tasteful, modern, and had all of the amenities we could possibly want. The property was also immaculately clean and had a full time caretaker. Overall, a perfect stay in paradise!
