The grandeur and beauty of this property is unparalleled. Your sleek, luxury villa, flanked by verdant, lush greenery, is able to sleep up to 19 guests. The grandeur is hard to capture in words but will certainly impress. Spread across two wings, the estate houses a large private garden brimming with beautiful flowers, enclosed by a stone wall, and a whopping 30 acres of grounds to explore. Afforded total privacy, your gorgeous Croatian retreat will make you feel as though you’re living in a film or fairy-tale that’s utterly your own.

Your property blends and balances a wonderful combination of privacy and intimacy. Would you like some time to wander the grounds in peace? Or gather for a large family meal? Whatever your preference, the versatile range of interior and exterior spaces ensure that all are accommodated. In the first wing, wing A, you’ll be able to accommodate ten guests, with five, spacious en-suite bedrooms. Wing B boasts two good-sized bedrooms, ideal for a group of four, and perfect for a small family. Each wing promises style and all the trimmings you need to feel comfortable including a fully-equipped kitchen, so that you can prepare delicious dishes to enjoy on the terrace surrounded by splendid views.

If you’re visiting during the autumn or winter months, you can relish the luxurious lounge areas, complete with log fires and Smart HDTV’s so that you can kick-back and relax in style. Outside the property, on the grounds, you’ll find acres of space, ideal for children to run and play. There’s also a play area with a slide, swings and climbing frame – ideal for whittling away an afternoon or two.

Pride of place on the terrace is the fabulous private swimming pool, with a separate children’s pool beside it. There are plenty of little touches to feed your fun – a tennis table, mini football, a BBQ area and a dartboard, as well as space for reading, dining and wandering.

It would be hard to beat the spaciousness and opportunity afforded to you by your villa, but you’re also adjacent to the striking medieval town of Groznjan. A beautifully charismatic place, you and your party can enjoy truffles (for which the area is famed), rustic wineries, authentic prosciutto ham and many cultural events that will afford you a taste of local living.

Looking for a taste of the finer things in life? Desiring a marriage of comfort and elitism? Want to be surrounded by beauty in a tranquil haven? Let this protected paradise be your home.

What you should know…

  • Although you could easily spend all your time at the villa, there’s so much to see in the surrounding areas too. We’d recommend renting a car so that you can see more of Croatia.
  • The neighbouring area of Groznjan houses many festivals. If you’re looking for complete peace, be aware of what’s on when so you can enjoy a quieter experience. That said, many flock to Groznjan for the festival alone, making it a must-see.
  • The villa is kitted out for families, but you’ll want to keep an eye on little ones. With such vast grounds and many pools, children should be supervised.

  • Pleasant owner and clean villa

    on 23/07/2023

We had a really great time at Villa Andela and are very thankful for his kindness and engagement. He was available at every time we needed something (i.e. the massage, which was really great by the way). The Villa was pretty clean, we felt comfortable the whole time.
Thank you so much! The owner is a great and pleasant host. Kind regards :)

  • Ideal location and breathtaking surroundings

    on 09/07/2023

Ideal location for large family or group. 5 kids with us loved the swimming pool and the children's playground. Found plenty of hiding places to play hide-and -seek. Not far from the coast but away from all the hustle and bustle. Very quiet. Beautiful gated, lovingly landscaped property. Breathtaking surroundings in the middle of the nature. Delicious fresh air. Quaint hilltop towns in the the area with good restaurants, art and antique shops - Groznan in particular. Hiking trails start near the houses, no need to drive. Vineyards in the area, worth a visit, produce excellent quality wine and world class olive oil. The houses themselves are very comfortable, spacious, tastefully decorated and well appointed inside and outside. Everything our 10 member family needed was provided for, and that in top quality. Thank the owner for being such a wonderful host and attending to all our needs. We felt very much at home and thoroughly enjoyed the amenities and especially meeting you.

  • Amazing Villa

    on 17/06/2023

We Visited Villa Andela in a group of 11 Adults and 2 children. We enjoyed being there in this beautiful Place. Next Time we will come longer. Thank the owner for everything!

  • Wonderful stay!

    on 27/05/2023

Magnificent villa, even more beautiful than in the advertisement, exceptionally clean, perfectly equipped. In addition, the owner is extremely kind!

  • A stay in paradise

    on 20/08/2022

We stayed at Villa Andela as a large family with adult children, children-in-law and grandchildren for a family holiday with a total of 14 family members. We found everything exactly as we dreamed of and were even more surprised by the quality. 2 dishwashers in the kitchen, more than enough glasses - even champagne glasses - a refrigerator with ice cubes and enough space for all the food made us very happy. Play equipment for the pool and around it was enjoyed by both young and old children. The rooms with bathrooms are equipped according to ***** 5 stars. The peace and quiet in the area and the fine ambience with the numerous fine, small additional options and the friendly care of the owner made our stay in Villa Andela a truly relaxing family holiday. It was a real treat to enjoy the time in this beautiful ambience. Pure relaxation and joy! We'll definitely be back!

  • Dream house

    on 23/07/2022

  • Until the next time

    on 09/07/2022

We were a group of 13 people and we more than enjoyed the stay! The owner was very friendly, everything was uncomplicated and we had a great time! We will be back.

  • Paradise

    on 18/06/2022

A group of 14 of us stayed at Villa Andela in June 2022. We had the most amazing time. The Villa is in a beautiful spot, no immediate neighbouring properties, surrounded by beautiful fields and with a beautiful view over the countryside. It has been thoughtfully and beautifully refurbished, with all most modern amenities present (air con in all rooms, protection from mosquitoes on all windows, TV/DVD player, play station, books available, utility room has washing machine and dryer, kitchen has all things you can think about present, swimming pool comes with gadgets for kids as well). We truly had the most amazing time! Villa is very spacious and we never felt on top of each other, there was plenty of space for everyone. The owner was always available and helped with information and instructions along the way. If you are looking for a little slice of paradise, then you will truly find it at this amazing villa!

  • Two houses within a magnificent property

    on 05/09/2021

We spent our summer vacation here with 5 families and really enjoyed the time. The 2 houses are both very nice, the rooms are large and comfortable. The pool is wonderful as is the entire grounds. The location is very quiet and secluded. Rajko, the landlord, is very friendly and took care of us immediately with small complaints (e.g. when the dishwasher didn't wash clean anymore). What we also found positive is that in the end we didn't have to worry about the disposal of used glass and recyclables. All in all highly recommended. We'd love to come back!

  • Perfect house for large groups

    on 20/06/2021

We were a group of 16 persons with children and really enjoyed our stay at Villa Andela. The owner was the perfect landlord and really cared about us. The villa is beautiful, clean and with lots of nice details. It is located in remote place in Poropati where you have absolutely privacy, but also can stay out longer without disturbing anyone. I can highly recommend this house!

  • Super super nice!!!

    on 12/05/2021

Very clean, spacious and great location. Service deserves at least 10 stars. You won't find something like the hosts again that quickly. Sincere, honest, courteous and see very helpful. Thank you again for the great stay, we intend to come again.

  • Hideaway for large groups

    on 02/05/2021

Villa Andela was just right for us and four families we know for an extended summer vacation in Istria. The great pool, the shady chestnut trees, the large lawn, the beautiful terrace and the comfortable rooms - we enjoyed every detail. And the seclusion is something very special in these times. Thank you Rajko, we would love to come back!
