Overview
Around two kilometres from the old Istrian town of Labin, Villa Josipa provides a luxurious experience in wonderfully scenic surroundings. On an estate of almost 20,000 sqm including orchards, a vegetable garden and mini-farm, it’s a place to get back to nature, as well as enjoy some outstanding recreational facilities like a tennis court, 7-hole golf course and private pool, and even its Istrian tavern.
The villa features a large covered terrace next to the pool, which has a dining area and an open stone fireplace for barbecues. The tavern area is also located by the pool and offers dining space for 12 guests, a fireplace, a TV and music system, and a kitchen, making this a particularly lovely spot to enjoy some Croatian wine and local delicacies.
Featuring artistic works by painters from Labin, the living room is a comfortable, air-conditioned space complete with TV and PlayStation. An adjacent 10-seat dining area and kitchen form part of the same open-plan space. This is equipped with all you need, including a large fridge freezer, dishwasher, microwave and coffee machine.
Villa Josipa offers four beautiful double bedrooms, one of which is on the ground floor. All have a private bathroom with shower, underfloor heating, and a TV, while two on the upper level have access to a spacious terrace.
The medieval town of Labin and the nearby beach resort of Rabac will reward your exploration with plenty to do and see – as a cultural and administrative hub for the region, Labin hosts regular events, including outdoor cinema nights, classical concerts and summer jazz festival.
It’s architecturally rich, too, with a good range of restaurants and cute coffee bars. Rabac is very popular as a tourist destination, and its nickname, ‘The Pearl of Kvarner Bay,’ gives a hint of its stunning beauty.

Location
About the surrounding area of Villa JosipaThe medieval town of Labin, on the eastern side of the Istrian peninsula, may not get the attention of some of its west coast counterparts, but those who do visit are sure to be charmed by its laid-back ambience.
The town is located high in the hills above the resort of Rabac, and they make a great combination of history, excellent Istrian cuisine, and relaxing beach life. Labin is the perfect place to spend a little time on a café terrace, or potter around the town museum, an art gallery or atelier.
Old houses, churches and a few steep hills give it real charm, and its elevated position offers some stunning views down to the bay and across sweeping areas of forest, particularly from the fortress viewpoint where an old cannon points oceanwards. In summer, the local artistic community becomes even more visible when the Art Republika festival brings theatre and concerts to the streets.
Neighbouring Rabac, with its pristine beaches of Girandella, St Andrea and Lanterna, is a fishing village which has become the region’s favourite tourist destination. It’s easy to see the attraction – with clear blue waters, optimal diving conditions and cool open-air bars, it’s the obvious choice for chilled days and nights at the beach when you’re visiting Labin.

The Villa has everything you need
We have just returned from a wonderful 3 week holiday at Villa Josipa. The Villa has everything you need with lots of wonderful finishing touches - Linen, towels and bath robes, kitchen equipment and air con. As a group of 8 with 4 teenage boys the tennis court was used daily and the equipment provided for both tennis and golf was very good. We walked into Labin square a few times for meals and drinks (15 minutes with some steep hills). The owners put us in touch with a local taxi lady who was very accommodating and we used her for our supermarket shopping and also day trips to Pula and Rabac. A huge thank you to Silvano, Dorina and Toni for being wonderful hosts.

Wonderful Villa
We have just returned from a 3 week holiday in Villa Josipa. We were two families of 4, and the villa was perfect: modern, air con, spotlessly clean, towels, linen, every utensil you need, outside kitchen, extra touches. We walked into Labin (15 mins uphill) to the cafe and restaurants there. Supermarkets a taxi/ drive away. Hosts were fantastic, we even had produce from their orchard. Wonderful Villa. Would. Highly recommend.

Beautiful Villa!
We felt very comfortable in Villa Josipa. The rooms are modern and clean, each with its own bathroom. The equipment in the kitchen is more than perfect. The pool area is beautiful with expansive countryside views. Exclusive use of the tennis and golf practice area for the guests of the villa. Yes, and not forgetting the vegetable garden that always enriched our dinners. The very nice and helpful owners live right next door, but you still have complete privacy. Many restaurants within walking distance in Labin. In short, we had a wonderful week and would love to come back. Thank you for the wonderful time!

TOP!!
First - the house is at least as beautiful as in the photos! Reception - very nice, friendly and informative. House from outside and inside - beautiful. Top equipped and well kept. Pool and outdoor facilities - top. Location wonderfully quiet, no traffic noise. But in a few minutes on foot in the middle of the beautiful old town. Highly recommended for families or couples.

Great villa
Super nice hosts and a beautiful, very well-kept property with a great villa. We had a great and varied week with lots of activities such as tennis and golf. Riding a bike and just chilling by the pool and cooking a lot. The host even has a vegetable garden that guests can help themselves to - that's something very special.

Amazing villa
Amazing villa. All rooms beautifully designed with comfort in mind. Very modern bathrooms with efficient plumbing. Fully equipped kitchen and BBQ area. Wonderful spa area which we made full use of. Smiling staff and warm welcome. The location is very secluded and private with lovely views over the bay where apparently you can see dolphins. We would love to return.
