Halfway back to Split is Trogir. Trogir’s preserved old town, known for its a mix of Renaissance, Baroque and Romanesque buildings, lies on a small island connected to the mainland and the island of Ciovo by bridges. It is beautiful and definitely worth a visit.
Of course, Split itself is a must. You can take a walking tour with wine tasting and a local ‘peka’ meal in Split.

Outside of the house, there is so much to keep them entertained. The Aquapark Dalmatia at the Solaris Beach Resort in Sibenik is a hit with children. So exciting with its aqua rain fortress, lazy river, jacuzzis and kids zone! Rafting the 10 km rapids of the Cetina river is exhilarating. You get to jump off rocks up to 5 metres high, swim and take a shower under a spring water waterfall. The Krka National Park is one of 8 breathtaking national parks in Croatia.
The stunning waterfalls and crystal clear water are perfect for a swim and play in the water. You can also take a scenic boat ride in nearby Skradin. Children will love going out on a speedboat island hopping from Split. They can experience the miracle of nature at the Blue Cave on Bisevo Island on this trip. Arrive when the sunlight reflects through the seafloor and bathes the cave in aquamarine light.
The speedboat trip also includes swimming and snorkelling in the unique bay of Stiniva and Stoncica Bay, which is a beautiful sandy beach. If this is not enough, you can book kayaking off the coast of Split, paddling around the beautiful peninsula of Marjan Park or you can paddle along the banks of the Zrnovnica river.
There are generally reduced prices for these trips for children.

Beautiful villa
Beautiful villa with many amenities and great hosts.

Perfect holiday!
We all had a very relaxing and enjoyable time at the villa. So much for our 5 grand children to occupy themselves with that the adults could really relax. A very natural environment to stroll amongst outside the gated villa with olive trees and donkeys enjoyed by the younger children. We were able to buy the lovely wine oil and eggs produced on Sanja and Ivan’s land which was unexpected. They are a lovely friendly couple who went out of their way to make it the perfect holiday which ended far to quickly.

Would recommend for a big family holiday.
Our first big family holiday with our new addition who is now 20 months. Eight adults, one toddler, loads of room for everyone and all immaculately clean and well-equipped. Our hosts were so kind, preparing a delicious meal for us all one night and sharing local wines and brandy - really enjoyed trying all the food and wine locally. The location is more remote than I’d realised on booking - you definitely need cars/taxis rather than walking, but electric bikes are supplied for your use which helps with getting out and about. We ate out in the nearest proper village - very good and also hired a boat for the day. Would recommend for a big family holiday as there is so much space and lots for everyone to do.
