The gateway to the nearby Kornati Islands, Zadar, is well worth a visit. Villa Aleesa is just ten kilometres from Zadar Airport, making it easily accessible. The city offers a good mix of modern amenities and historic sights.

The Old Town is sure to be the part of town you’ll want to focus on. Head for the Roman Forum, alongside the Archbishop’s Palace and the Church of St Donat, to see its sights. The Cathedral of St Anastasia is also worth your time, especially if you climb the bell tower, which offers a fine view across the region.
