Breathtaking ravine and azure sea blue views await to welcome you when you vacation in the superb Villa Astrix, overlooking the southwest coast of the idyllic island of Cyprus in the Mediterranean Sea. Villa Astrix is part of the ultra-luxury Aphrodite Hills Resort, near Paphos, and is perfectly positioned close to the Village Square, where you can take advantage of all the excellent amenities it has to offer, including convivial bars and international restaurants, shops and a spa, an award-winning golf course and tennis academy, and a children’s club and play area.
This beautiful three-storey, detached villa has five spacious bedrooms, and can comfortably accommodate up to ten guests, ideal for a large family holiday, or group of friends’ get-togethers. The villa is set in its own gorgeous grounds and Mediterranean gardens, populated with indigenous trees and shrubs, which blossom and scent in season, and give a sense of seclusion and privacy. The property comes complete with secure parking, complimentary air conditioning and Wi-Fi throughout, and your own private infinity swimming pool. The exterior is constructed out of soft pale stone, and floor-to-ceiling picture windows that reward the guest with stunning sea views, and open onto private balconies and terraces. The interiors are cool and contemporary, stylishly furnished with modern pieces, and decorated in a tranquil colour palette of soft neutrals.
Enter the villa at ground floor level, where you will find a light and airy, bright and breezy, open plan living space, with panoramic ravine and sea views. The seating area has comfy sofas and chairs, coffee and side tables, and a flat-screen satellite television. The adjacent large dining table is ideal for indoor entertaining with a view. The smart kitchen is fully equipped with all the latest appliances which you will need to cater for your holiday, including a preparation island. A handy guest cloakroom completes the ground floor. A short staircase will take you to the mezzanine level, where there are two ensuite double bedrooms, one with a private sea view balcony, and access to the pool area below.
On the way to the first floor, there is a lounge and office space, with a shower room, and a walk-in wardrobe. The master bedroom occupies the whole of the first floor, with a king-size bed, its own seating area, and a private sea-view patio. On the lower ground floor, there is a double bedroom, and a twin bedroom which has access to the pool terrace and gardens, perfect for rolling out of bed for a swim before breakfast. There is a shared bathroom with a shower and a laundry area with a washing machine and tumble dryer.
The outside living space is superb, a stone path leads you down tiered terraces, and takes you towards the ravine, with ravishing vistas out to sea and beyond. There is a centrepiece, step-entry, infinity swimming pool, surrounded by relaxing sun loungers. Shaded soft seating spots are artistically arranged to capture mesmerising views. In the garden there is a gazebo, offering shade and respite from the summer sun. As the sun sets over the horizon, meet at the alfresco dining set, for supper freshly grilled on the barbeque, and raise a toast to the most magical holiday.

- The villa comes with access to many excellent facilities within the Aphrodite Hills Resort, but the Aphrodite Hills Hotel operates independently, and villa guests cannot use their facilities except by arrangement and subject to charge
- There are five bedrooms, and four bathrooms, some with baths and/or showers, not all ensuite, some are shared

Best Suited For: All AgesThere are loads for kids to do and see when you stay in Villa Astrix, set in the exclusive Aphrodite Hills Resort. The villa has its own ten-metre easy step-entry swimming pool, in which they can splash and play all day. Villa Astrix benefits from access to the Aphrodite Hills Resort Kids Club. Located in the heart of the resort, the Kids Club caters for children aged 3-12 years old. The Kids Club has a child-friendly indoor and outdoor shaded activity area, which is operated and supervised by a professionally trained, experienced, and qualified childcare team, who love looking after their younger guests. Open from 9 am – 5 pm, the club has various play areas, a splash pool, and activities. Highlights include arts and crafts sessions, sporting events, splash pool and creative play. Evening sessions may be available according to demand from 6 pm – 9 pm, with the added benefit of teen activities in the school holidays. There is also a creche for your very young children.
Within the resort, children may enjoy tennis lessons, honing their serve from the professional in-house coach at the Tennis Academy, or saddle up and ride a pony with a horse-riding session, before getting into the swing of things and trying their hand at golf with the pro at the Golf Academy. The resort also hosts a children’s playground, a football academy, and rugby clubs. They can take a guided hike around the local area to see nature’s flora and fauna, or get on a bike and take a cycle ride.
