Cape Greco is also known as Cave Greco. It is at the southern end of Famagusta Bay between Protaras and Ayia Napa. It is a protected nature park and a wonderful place to see.
 
Ayia Napa, just 10-15 minutes away from Protaras, is very busy with beach parties, karaoke bars and nightclubs and has tourists flocking for the entertainment. It does also have a gentler side with 14 Blue Flag beaches, wonderful cobbled streets and fantastic tavernas on the harbourside and a Medieval monastery.
 
While you are in Cyprus, you might like to visit the brooding Troodos Mountains. There you will find it wonderful for fresh woodland walks in fragrant pine forests, wine tours in local vineyards and visiting ancient churches and monasteries. The Troodos National Park is divided into five areas – Troodos village, Marathasa northwest of the park, Solea towards the northeast, Pitsilia located in the east and Machairas further east. Troodos village sits at the foot of the Mount Olympus, the tallest peak. Marathasa is home to the most famous monastery in Cyprus – Kykkos.
