A former mansion from the 19th century Villa Caractere, as its name suggests, is full of character. Blending rustic charm with vibrant decor, this beautiful stone house emanates a homely and relaxing ambiance, perfect for your trip away from the hustle and bustle of city life.

The spacious and open-plan living areas feature comfortable sofas and a warming fireplace for those staying in the colder months.  It is a lovely space for unwinding, and the adjoining bedroom makes for seamless living. Each bedroom has been characterfully designed with a  pop of colour in each – they are warm and inviting. With two lovely bathrooms, featuring both a bath and shower, Villa Caractere is a great choice for a group of friends or family.

Let’s not forget the open-plan kitchen/dining space, which is bursting with exquisite design and plenty of amenities. With the dining table adjacent to the kitchen, the chef will always have company! Moving outside, this magnificent villa is surrounded by a tree-covered, park-like area and has almost every imaginable comfort, including an inviting outdoor pool and an al-fresco dining terrace seating 8. Within a short drive, the Arjuzanx Lake is a fantastic spot for a family day out, with safe swimming areas, picnicking spots, and opportunities for bird-watching. Kids will love the gentle waters and the chance to spot local wildlife. For an educational yet fun experience, take a short drive to the Marquèze Ecomuseum, where children can discover traditional Landes life and participate in hands-on activities.

In just 50 minutes, you will reach the beaches of Mimizan, which offers even more excitement, with sandy shores perfect for building sandcastles and paddling in the surf. Additionally, AquaPark Biscarrosse provides water slides and inflatable water games, which will keep any child entertained for hours. Terms & Conditions

These terms and conditions may be amended from time to time.

Security deposit €500 charged to client's credit card as a pre-authorisation at least 2 weeks prior to arrival and refunded two weeks after departure, subject to full inspection.
Arrival time Between 4.00 and 6.00 p.m.
Departure time 10.00 a.m.
Linen & towels included? No. Linen and towels can be hired at an extra cost of €25 per guest per week, payable locally.
End of stay cleaning included? Yes, standard changeover clean included. Guests are required to leave the accommodation clean, tidy and in the same condition as on their arrival. Any extra cleaning, laundry, maintenance and/or rubbish disposal required will be charged against the security deposit.
Changeover day Saturday.
Minimum stay 7 nights.
Pets welcome? On request only and with prior agreement with the owner.
Smoking Allowed? Outside only.
Pool opening dates? The pool is open approximately from June to end-September. Please note that pool opening dates are subject to local weather conditions and pool maintenance requirements and that cooler months may not be suitable for swimming.
Other Ts and Cs Weddings, stag/hen parties and any special events are not allowed.
