Overview
Welcome to Maison Opale Bleue, a well-situated villa in a renowned seaside resort on the Gulf of Morbihan that is as cosy as it is chic. This spacious five-bedroom holiday house comfortably accommodates up to 10 guests.
Stepping into the villa, you are met with an elegant light-filled foyer. The ground floor then unfolds into a tastefully designed living area where sleek wooden furnishings and comfortably stylish sofas invite guests to relax and take in the floods of light streaming in through panoramic windows. The living room seamlessly transitions into a well-appointed dining space where an elegant table waits for the feasts and long conversations enjoyed by family and friends.
The fully-equipped kitchen, adjacent to the dining area, boasts modern amenities and a large kitchen island providing ample space for culinary enthusiasts to enjoy, whether it's whipping up a summer salad or a gourmet meal.
The ground level is also home to the first of five well-appointed bedrooms, including a queen-sized bed and sophisticated rattan décor. On the upper level, there are four more bedrooms, who of which feature queen-sized beds, while the other two come complete with two single beds each, perfect for families travelling with children. And far from shirking on vanity space, Maison Opale Bleue also has three tastefully designed bathrooms, each with their own idiosyncratic tiling and thoughtful amenities.
However, the villa's expansive outdoor area is its true pièce de resistance. Complete with a well-manicured garden and invitingly turquoise pool, the terrace space includes a beautiful rattan-furnished seating area as well as a large al fresco dining setting. This stunning south-facing terrace and garden wraps around the villa, providing pleasant views of lush greenery.
Situated in the captivating locale of Carnac beside the Gulf of Morbihan on the southwest coast of Brittany, Maison Opale Bleue provides not only a comfortable retreat but also easy access to the historical wonders and scenery of the region. Enjoy coastal hikes with stunning views, try kayaking or sailing, and indulge in delicious seafood at waterfront restaurants.

Region
Brittany is famed chiefly for its beaches, and with so much coastline to explore it’s certainly one of the best reasons to visit the region. But there’s more to Brittany than sun, sea and sand, and while a good chunk of our villas and chateaux in Brittany are found next to the coast the ones further inland are just as tempting. Want to get the inside scoop on Brittany before you book? You’ll find our full Brittany travel guide below, full of tips, inspiration and great things to do.
Kids
Best Suited For: All AgesThe utterly unique and expansive Carnac Stones are a must-see for adults and children alike. The eternal mystery of their appearance is sure to rouse everyone's curiosity. A family bike ride is a great way to explore these Neolithic structures. Cycle up the Tumulus Saint-Michel for a panoramic view of the bay and surrounds.
While Bretan waters are not as warm as those in southern climes, the wind and the waves make it great for water sports, particularly sailing and windsurfing in the Bay of Quiberon. Rentals and lessons can be easily acquired at the local yacht club. On the other side of the peninsula, the Atlantic beaches also offer surfing.
