At the gateway to Burgundy’s Morvan Regional Natural Park, lies the enchanting Château Arlequin. This beautiful French château is set within vast parkland and grounds adorned with forests and a serene lake that invites moments of reflection. Located in the authentic French countryside, this historic abode offers an idyllic retreat from the hustle and bustle of 21st century life.
As you walk around the château, the harmonious blend of historical charm and modern comfort becomes evident. With 15 bedrooms sleeping up to 25 guests, the château can comfortably accommodate gatherings of family and friends, making it an ideal venue for memorable holidays or special celebrations. There are seven spacious bedrooms on the first floor, most with en suite bath or shower rooms, and eight smaller bedrooms on the top floor alongside a shared modern bathroom with four showers.

The local village is a 2.5km cycle ride or drive away for morning croissants and fresh bread whilst the historic small town of Saulieu (12km) is less than 15 minutes by car, home to the 12th century Basilique Saint-Andoche.

Wedding Ceremony and Reception
There are separate spaces for a ceremony and reception. Secular ceremonies can take place outside by the fountain with the château as your backdrop (there are tables and chairs for up to 70 people). Cocktail parties can also be arranged within the garden (for up to 100 guests) whilst your reception can be hosted inside a hall (80 people) or outside in a hired marquee in front of the château.

There is no in-house catering so you may choose your own supplier. The venue is happy to make recommendations.
Other Wedding Suppliers
The venue can provide a list of recommended vendors or you may use your own. Partners include two florists, caterers and a DJ/wedding decoration service.
