The passionate new owners of Château des Temps fell in love with this beautiful 17th-century historic building.
They kept its ancient charm that resulted in a beautiful Château with many original features, carved marble fireplaces, and oak floors.
The Château is set in five hectares of parkland with small streams, bridges, a lake and a private swimming pool. It enjoys a desirable setting in lovely countryside, in the heart of the unspoilt Champagne region, in a quiet village with a small supermarket, a chemist and a hairdresser.
Within only a few minutes’ drive, are pretty villages, local producers and vineyards. The town of Sezanne has a wonderful market on Saturdays as well as a big supermarket and other shops. About five minutes drive away is a lovely leisure area with a lake, beach, and indoor pool.

- Château Des Temps is reserved to guests 12 years and over only.

Region
The people of Champagne have a lot to be proud about. Not only do they produce one of the world’s most celebrated fizzy drinks, the region was awarded UNESCO World Heritage Site status in 2015, meaning it’s an even greater destination for foodies and culture vultures alike. But while it’s right at the heart of the country, the Champagne region offers more than an authentic drink – as our travel guide shows, there’s a little something for everyone if you’re thinking of booking one of our luxury villas and chateaux in Champagne.

This is for you
If you are looking for a unique and historic property, this is for you. The antiques, glassware and art were beautiful. We were really well looked after by our hosts and the champagne/wine honesty bar was a real treat. Thank you so much for having us!

Fun place and environment
We were a large group of friends going down to champagne for a weekend and needed a large place to stay. The place was both fun and practical for our needs. We had resonable expectations of a french manor from the 17th century in terms of comport but were pleasantly surprised. The host that lives in small house on the grounds was extremely helpful and accomodating and we were good guests as well i hope. Fun place and environment. We also booked a chef that came and made dinner for us and some invited friends. They have a large dinner table that fits 20 people. It's had to say if pricing is right or wrong but for a large group it ends up being a fair price. It's important that you don't precise this as a hotel even though the host gladly accomdates more than you 'd expect. Have your expectations at a resonable level and you'll love the expereince i'd say. Thanks to us and others staying there the owners can bit by bit renovate the manor so by staying there you also help out.

Chateau Des Temps
My stay was excellent, there were minor flaws, but it is perfectly understandable because the Château is very old.

Loved every minute of it!
A beautiful chateau with oodles of charm (only 3 hours drive from Calais!). We went with five families for a few days over New Year and the wonderful owner Michelle cooked for us every evening and laid out breakfast every morning.

Amazing Property!
This is a true gem. A beautifully restored Château. We immediately felt at home and barely left it. The surrounding park is vast and you could smell peppermint with every step. Magnificent. The rooms are very spacious with excellent beds. Frans is a wonderful person and host. We couldn’t have found a more beautiful, relaxing place for our stay.

Wonderful Chateau in Champagne
Let’s go to France and rent a Chateau! That’s how it all started. Said and done, we started to look for a nice Chateau. The only requirements we had was that it should be able to accommodate some of our friends as well. After some online research we finally found it. Chateau des Temps. It was available through Oliver's
Travels, a UK based travel agent. We contacted them and got all details and a really good price for a French Chateau. First down payment was done some 9 months in advance, and the last payment was done a couple of weeks before the vacation. We are quite happy with all arrangements, and we would not hesitate to recommend Oliver Travels. They have been great to deal with all the way through this vacation. So, what about the Chateau? Chateau des Temps is a nice just renovated Chateau in the Champagne district. Originally, it’s is built in the 17th century. The mansion has three floors, first flor has a kitchen, dining room, living room, game room, a small library and a small TV room. Second and third floor has 5 bedrooms each. Eight rooms have double beds, while two rooms are equipped with two single beds each. All the rooms are carefully renovated with beautiful wallpaper and renovated furniture. All bedrooms have separate and new renovated bathrooms as well. In the back of the Chateau, there is a new renovated pool as well. We spent some time there, but not too much as the sun is quite strong. There were also some big flies, so bring some spray. In total we stayed at the Chateau for 7 days/nights. During the days we went sightseeing in the Champagne district, buying as much champagne we could carry. I filled up the trunk of my car without any problems…Kitchen worked well. We had breakfast together in the morning. With a group of 20, we didn’t schedule too many group activities, so everyone where free to plan their own schedule. Two nights we had a BBQ party. There where two nice charcoal grills outside. Good enough to make food for 20.
The other nights we had dinner out. We visited Reims, Eperney and Troyes. Lovely cities with lots of historic sites, especially Troyes. In Epernay you will find all the large champagne houses. Well worth a visit. I am not going to give any tips on what to do in Champagne, as there is plenty of other resources online that do this a lot better than I ever can. -
Amazing!
We loved this old chateau!
