Covered terraces beckon with promises of lazy afternoons and starlit soirées, while outdoor games such as table tennis invite laughter and camaraderie. Here, the villa’s pièce de résistance awaits—a private heated swimming pool, embraced by a covered terrace and a chic lounge set, where days are spent basking in the sun-kissed bliss.

But Maison Guirlande is not just a villa; it's a gateway to adventure. In the nearby village a charming bakery awaits, while Eymet enchants with its mediaeval allure and bustling markets. Region

The pace of life in the Dordogne is languid, laid back and positively infectious. Relax in bucolic beauty as you drift along the Dordogne River, or wander among the forests and hillside of the Périgord Natural Park.

The foodie scene too, is a relaxed affair. Take your time over your lazy lunches of local duck, black truffles and goats cheese. If you’re feeling energetic, you can even hunt for them yourself. The wine here is second to none, with infamous grapes like Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Chenin Blanc all having a huge presence here.

The Dordogne is also brimming with history. Castles and chateaux are scattered throughout the region, among the enchanting medieval villages. History of an altogether more ancient sort can also be explored in the incredible prehistoric cave drawings of Lascaux and Grotte de Rouffignac.

  • Beautiful trip!

    on 29/07/2023

The last day is over and time flew by. The beautiful holiday home was very cosy and in tip-top order and the beautiful view was really the max. We also enjoyed the beautiful swimming pool a lot, every day everyone jumped in with great pleasure. When the weather was less, we also enjoyed the board games very much. Thank you very much for the beautiful holiday home and the beautiful trip!

  • Highly recommended

    on 30/06/2023

Lots of space, everywhere in and around Maison Guirlande, a holiday home in rural and quiet Singleyrac. I was there with six people, three couples, a good stay. Inside the large kitchen and room, three spacious bedrooms and three bathrooms, everything well equipped, glasses, crockery, games, information, etc. Outside we enjoyed the garden with flower meadow, the singing of the birds, the swimming pool, clean and at the right temperature . Everywhere the owners have provided opportunities to sit or lie comfortably, at a table under the mulberry tree, in one of the lounge sets on the terraces, sunbathing by the pool, and on a bench in the flower meadow. It was all clean and comfortable. The owners are attentive and flexible, in short, a stay in their house is highly recommended.

  • Two wonderful weeks

    Created on 20/05/2023

On this beautiful day we say goodbye to Singleyrac.

The children are still playing in the swimming pool and we enjoy the last rays of sunshine before we leave for the Netherlands.

We had two wonderful weeks and completely relaxed in your beautiful house. It is decorated and styled with care, we enjoyed it!

We recommend the beautiful city of Bordeaux (1.5 hours drive). Park at Galin and take the tram to the centre for a pittance. And the castle of Bridoire (10 minutes drive). Fantastic for young and old with all kinds of outdoor games.

Thanks for everything and who knows see you soon!

  • Attractive house

    on 28/06/2022

A very attractive house and pool. Hot around the pool but with excellent loungers, sun shades and a purpose built pergola with loungers. Plenty of shady trees around the outside of the house. Excellently furnished inside with everything needed to cook in during the holiday.
