Overview
Sit back and soak in the gorgeous Côte D'Azur scenery in this magnificent, south-facing villa, backed by the impressive red mountain terrain of the Massif de L'Esterel.
With direct access to the sea, this villa offers both luxury and comfort. The main level unfolds with a spacious living room offering panoramic views of the garden and sea. A second, more secluded lounge provides the perfect retreat for moments of quiet reading or relaxation. The dining room has space for 10 to 12 guests, whilst the fully equipped, semi-open plan kitchen and its scullery cater to both culinary enthusiasts and practical needs. The master bedroom on this level features a dressing room, office, and a private terrace with breathtaking views. Three en-suite bedrooms, each with its own bathroom/shower and terrace access, complete the main floor's lavish accommodations.
Descend to the garden level, and you'll discover four additional bedrooms, including one for children and a baby room. These bedrooms share two shower rooms with WC. There is also another spacious double bedroom with shower room and WC with its own private access.
Beyond the walls lies a meticulously landscaped garden with sprawling lawns and swimming pool, complete with a wooden deck and a solarium overlooking the sea. A small gate opens up to a secluded cove with a private beach, a personal harbour, and an almost wild island that is part of the property.
The villa really is in a fantastic location within the French Riviera, with lots to discover such as the beautiful medieval village of Valbonne, the famous "perfume capital" town of Grasse, and the arty village of Mougins. All at an hours drive and under away.
Head East towards the glamour of Cannes, accessible by train, or drive along the Corniche D'Or, a beautiful scenic route bordered by stunning landscapes and the most pristine water in the region. West of the villa lies Saint-Raphaël, Agay and Saint-Tropez, all charming seaside resorts, with lots of watersports opportunities such as scuba-diving and jet-skiing.
The Massif de L'Esterel volcanic mountain range offers lots of different hiking and cycling routes. The highest point is Mont Vinaigre, where you can see all the way from Cannes to Saint-Tropez!

Location
About the surrounding area of Perle De La MerPerched on the southern edge of paradise, Perle de la Mer’s location is nothing short of a dreamy escape. Tucked away in a coastal haven, it enjoys the enchanting embrace of the Massif de L'Esterel, a rugged mountain range that frames the horizon with an awe-inspiring backdrop. But the allure extends beyond the villa's elegant walls – it's the surrounding area that truly sets the stage for a perfect holiday destination.
There is so much to see and do nearby. Cannes (26km) is less than an hours drive away, or you can catch the train from the nearby station, which takes just 21 minutes. The glitz and glamour of this city is a sight to see, with its palm-fringed sandy beaches, trendy restaurants and up-market boutiques. It's also worth exploring the old quarter, Le Suquet, with its vibrant covered markets and fascinating historical past.
Saint-Tropez (52km) can also be reached for an amazing day out. A ferry goes from Saint-Raphaël to Saint-Tropez and takes an hour, so this is a great way to avoid the summer traffic! Or you could head inland and visit some of the lovely villages and towns of the Côte d'Azur such as Mougins (33km), Valbonne (39km) and Grasse (45km), the world's perfume capital!
If outdoor activities are more your thing, then the Massif de l'Esterel mountain range, which covers 32,000 hectares, is a stunning area to hike or bike around. You can also kayak along its calm creeks, discovering secret coves between the sea and red rock, and look out for the local wildlife. A fantastic way to see the mountain range from a different angle!

Region
Despite being renowned for its annual international film festival in May at the iconic Palais des Festivals, Cannes is not just a glamourous destination for the rich and famous. The attractive Côte d’Azur town is loved all year round for its palm-fringed beaches, upmarket shopping opportunities and wonderful restaurants as well as a certain French Riviera charm.
Stroll along Cannes’ iconic La Croisette boulevard following the footsteps of stars from years gone by as you admire prestigious hotels, luxurious boutiques and private beach clubs. Stop off for a cocktail as the sun sets and admire the twinkling lights across the bay. Even at night, La Croisette remains the vibrant heart of this bustling town.
Shop to your heart’s delight along the streets of the Carré d’Or district – come across hundreds of well-known stores along Rue d’Antibes. At the end of a busy day there’s a vast choice of restaurants to suit every taste and budget from authentic bistros spilling out on to the street to Michelin starred establishments.
Soak up the historic side of Cannes as you explore Le Suquet quarter’s medieval lanes passing little shops, atmospheric restaurants, flower-filled balconies and old fishermen’s houses. Climb to the top of the hill by Église Notre-Dame d'Espérance for stunning views of the harbour, followed by a visit to Château de la Castre and its popular museum. This part of Cannes is also home to the colourful Marché Forville showcasing the very best gourmet delights of Cannes and beyond.
Escape the crowds as you venture to Croix Des Gardes natural park with forest walking routes, botanical plants and glorious views across to the Lérins Islands. Look out for some fantastic boat trips from Cannes’ marina from whale and dolphin-watching excursions to family adventures on board a chartered yacht, sight-seeing ferries and romantic sun-set cruises.
Beyond the city centre, visit the ceramic studios and National Picasso Museum in Vallauris, follow Picasso’s footsteps in the enchanting hilltop village of Mougins (loved for its galleries and gastronomy) and appreciate the artistic vibe of Biot with beautiful views of the French Riviera. Chic Juan-les-Pins, so loved by Parisians in the summer, is home to beachside restaurants and more watersports whilst keen walkers will adore the incredible coastal trail around Cap d’Antibes.
In the other direction is the charming seaside village of Théoule-sur-Mer, backed by the dramatic Esterel massif, another paradise for hikers. By staying in one of our collection of handpicked rentals in Cannes you can experience all of this and more during your time on the glistening Côte d’Azur.

Best Suited For: All AgesSet in the Massif de l'Esterel, you're spoilt for choice with both beaches and incredible mountain scenery alike. Horseback riding is a great way to explore the natural area, or take a boat ride along the creeks, where you can sit back and enjoy the spectacular red rocky mountains and wildlife.
There are plenty of watersports available in Agay including jet-skiing, water-skiing and banana boat riding! Fréjus (16km) and Saint-Raphaël (13km) are also home to a range of activities such as skating, mini-golf, go-karting as well as lovely play areas and cycle paths.
During the spring and summer months, Luna Park in Fréjus opens, and this amusement park caters to all ages. There is a large selection of rides, games and places to grab a bite to eat. A funfair for the whole family!
