Overview
Explore the twinkling French Riviera and its coastline when enjoying a holiday in Villa Vuitton, which is nestled in the hills high above the city of Cannes in France’s Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur region. The property is a stone’s throw away from the shores, while also being immersed in nature to offer a restorative retreat for guests.
With striking modern architecture, wonderfully imaginative design and mesmerising views from its elevated position, Villa Vuitton is a contemporary abode sleeping up to 10 guests in five delightful double bedrooms.
As soon as you step inside, you will be met by a large living area that enjoys plenty of sunshine coming in through picture windows and enormous glass doors. The high ceilings here add a touch of freedom too, while the contemporary artwork in the form of Pop Art paintings, iron statues and velvet armchairs exaggerate the cool look even more.
Downstairs, you will discover four stunning bedrooms, all featuring large beds, soft furnishings and each with its own bathroom designed in sleek neutral tones. The master suite is conveniently located on the upper floor and enjoys a free-standing bath as well as access to a private terrace with a rattan armchair, ideal for soaking up the sunshine in total relaxation.
If you are a fan of the al-fresco lifestyle, head to the panoramic terrace where you can relax by the pool and splash around from sunrise till sundown. Meals can be served on the outdoor dining table, and all after-dark entertainment can happen in the lounge area designed with maximum comfort.
When it’s time for some hustle and bustle, head to the centre of Cannes to spend quality time in modern beach clubs, tasting Mediterranean cuisine in Michelin-star restaurants and shopping in luxurious boutiques dotted along the famous Boulevard de la Croisette. More low-key spots include the lovely port, a market selling local artisanal products, and a museum on top of a hill.
Antibes, a historic resort city with an Old Town encircled by thick 16th-century walls, is also just a short drive away. Visitors here love following in the footsteps of the famous painter Pablo Picasso, who used to call the city his home, and exploring the traditional markets, cobbled streets and art.
Nice can be reached in just 30 minutes by car, making it perfect for a day trip. Full of galleries and museums such as the Musées Matisse, Chagall and d’Art Moderne, alongside street markets, restaurants and pebbly shores, it offers an unforgettable experience for everyone.
Other notable places which can be reached within a short drive include the prestigious city and municipality of Monaco and the second most populous city in France, Marseille.

Location
About the surrounding area of Villa VuittonVilla Vuitton is set in the hills behind Cannes in the Alpes-Maritimes department of southern France, an ideal base for exploring the French Riviera and its beautiful hinterland.
Nestled within a residential community, there are plenty of local amenities nearby to make your stay as comfortable as it can be. A leafy park is just a 15-minute walk away while the Tivoli Gardens are an idyllic place to visit and watch the world go by as you sit under a shady tree. When you get hungry, the closest restaurant is only a 15-minute walk from the villa. Or, if you are feeling active, tennis courts can be found just a kilometre away.
The area is also home to many golf courses, such as the Royal Mougins Golf resort, which can be reached in 20 minutes, or Golf De Saint Donat which has extensive grounds and lakes where you can practice your swing.
Grasse is a nearby town nestled in the hills above Cannes and known for its long-established perfume industry. This heritage is celebrated at the Musée International de la Parfumerie, in the town centre, while there are also architectural sights such as Grasse Cathedral, a former Roman Catholic cathedral in the old town, to visit. Many of the local perfumeries offer tours and unique excursions too.
The Parc naturel régional des Préalpes d'Azur is a diverse park encompassing forest, foothills and gorges, scenic hiking trails and charming hillside villages, which can be reached in 40 minutes by car. Hiking areas such as Arche de Ponadieu offer breathtaking views of the surrounding landscape, with a chance to see waterfalls and unique rock formations, and there are also many vantage points and historic landmarks such as Observatoire Amateur, where you can see all the way to the snow-capped Alps on a clear day.
Cannes is a comfortable 10-15-minute drive away, so it’s easy to visit the city anytime you please. The wealth and glamour of the city cannot fail to impress, and you’re encouraged to visit all the designer boutiques, couture shops and palaces of La Croisette, while admiring expensive cars and celebrity spotting. On a sunny day, walk to the port to look at liner-sized yachts or head to the city’s public beach and grab a spot under a colourful parasol to work on your holiday tan. Alternatively, see the landscape full of rooftop bars, terracotta tiles and cobbled streets from the top of a hill where an 11th-century castle Musée-de-la-Castre now stands.
In Antibes and its incredible Cap d'Antibes peninsula, you can explore hidden coves with crystal-clear water for swimming, walk alongside winding coastal paths and enjoy sun bathing at pristine beaches. The resort town is famous for its 16th-century ramparts that encircle the Old Town, as well as being one of the late residences of Pablo Picasso – and there is a museum Musée Picasso dedicated to his work.

Region
Despite being renowned for its annual international film festival in May at the iconic Palais des Festivals, Cannes is not just a glamourous destination for the rich and famous. The attractive Côte d’Azur town is loved all year round for its palm-fringed beaches, upmarket shopping opportunities and wonderful restaurants as well as a certain French Riviera charm.
Stroll along Cannes’ iconic La Croisette boulevard following the footsteps of stars from years gone by as you admire prestigious hotels, luxurious boutiques and private beach clubs. Stop off for a cocktail as the sun sets and admire the twinkling lights across the bay. Even at night, La Croisette remains the vibrant heart of this bustling town.
Shop to your heart’s delight along the streets of the Carré d’Or district – come across hundreds of well-known stores along Rue d’Antibes. At the end of a busy day there’s a vast choice of restaurants to suit every taste and budget from authentic bistros spilling out on to the street to Michelin starred establishments.
Soak up the historic side of Cannes as you explore Le Suquet quarter’s medieval lanes passing little shops, atmospheric restaurants, flower-filled balconies and old fishermen’s houses. Climb to the top of the hill by Église Notre-Dame d'Espérance for stunning views of the harbour, followed by a visit to Château de la Castre and its popular museum. This part of Cannes is also home to the colourful Marché Forville showcasing the very best gourmet delights of Cannes and beyond.
Escape the crowds as you venture to Croix Des Gardes natural park with forest walking routes, botanical plants and glorious views across to the Lérins Islands. Look out for some fantastic boat trips from Cannes’ marina from whale and dolphin-watching excursions to family adventures on board a chartered yacht, sight-seeing ferries and romantic sun-set cruises.
Beyond the city centre, visit the ceramic studios and National Picasso Museum in Vallauris, follow Picasso’s footsteps in the enchanting hilltop village of Mougins (loved for its galleries and gastronomy) and appreciate the artistic vibe of Biot with beautiful views of the French Riviera. Chic Juan-les-Pins, so loved by Parisians in the summer, is home to beachside restaurants and more watersports whilst keen walkers will adore the incredible coastal trail around Cap d’Antibes.
In the other direction is the charming seaside village of Théoule-sur-Mer, backed by the dramatic Esterel massif, another paradise for hikers. By staying in one of our collection of handpicked rentals in Cannes you can experience all of this and more during your time on the glistening Côte d’Azur.
