Located between Saint-Tropez and Plage de Pampelonne, this modern French Riviera abode enjoys a picturesque setting on a hillside just a short distance away from two of the Côte d’Azur’s most loved attractions.
Maison Magali has been newly renovated and the result is a stylish air-conditioned holiday home with wonderful terraces and lovely views. The lounge is especially chic yet laid back with a Smart TV and sliding doors allowing you to relax outdoors overlooking the pine and cypress trees. The kitchen is brilliantly equipped and we love the covered terrace for al-fresco dining with gorgeous far-reaching views.
The villa sleeps up to 10 guests across its five attractive bedrooms and three contemporary bathrooms. Upstairs there is a double bedroom (where you can catch a glimpse of the sea) and a twin which share bathroom, then downstairs there is a double which connects to a twin bedroom, again they both share a bathroom. The fifth bedroom features an en suite and is accessed independently.
It's around a 2.5km drive to Saint-Tropez where you can truly soak up the glamour of this former fishing village as you visit its designer boutiques and dine out in high-end restaurants. Be enchanted by its old quarter with a warren of narrow lanes, stroll by the harbourfront admiring luxurious yachts and climb up to the citadel for the most stunning views of the bay. Stock up at the twice-weekly Provençal market at Place des Lices on a Tuesday and Saturday morning.
In the other direction, the exclusive Beach Club Tahiti is just over 2km away or venture slightly further south to the sandy shores, watersports and beachside restaurants of Plage de Pampelonne.
Other experiences not to be missed include wine-tasting in Gassin’s pretty vineyards, lunch out in flower-filled Grimaud or Ramatuelle and boat trips across the bay to fully appreciate the beauty of the Golfe de Saint-Tropez.

About the surrounding area of Maison MagaliMaison Magali is located in the hills between Saint-Tropez and the northern end of Pampelonne Beach.
Set on a hillside in a residential area, it’s around a 2.5km drive to Saint-Tropez. Park near Place des Lices, home to a bustling market on a Tuesday and Saturday morning, then stroll into town to visit designer boutiques and high-end restaurants. The old quarter is enchanting with its narrow lanes and charming shops whilst the handsome harbourfront is home to several restaurant terraces for watching the world go by.
Ferries depart Saint-Tropez’s marina towards colourful Port Grimaud and family-friendly Sainte-Maxime as well as other destinations along the French Riviera. Meanwhile, boat excursions are a great way to admire the coast – look out for luxury yacht charters, whale-watching trips, tours to pretty beaches and sunset cruises.
The exclusive beach club, Plage Tahiti, is just over 2km by car, close to the northern end of Plage de Pampelonne. One of France’s most famous stretches of coastline, sandy Pampelonne Beach is 5km long and offers a wide range of watersports alongside more summer beach clubs and restaurants.
Beyond Saint-Tropez, visit the perched village of Gassin (11km) and its surrounding vineyards, enjoy lunch out in flower-filled Grimaud with glorious vistas from its hilltop setting and follow the coastal walking path along La Croix Valmer coastline passing idyllic gems such as Plage de Gigaro (20km) en route.

Soak up the luxurious yet laidback vibe of Saint-Tropez as you wander around its marina lined with huge yachts contrasting colourful fishermen’s houses overlooking the bay. The old quarter is a warren of winding lanes with French designer boutiques, picturesque cafes and restaurants whilst Place des Lices hosts a vibrant Provençal market on a Tuesday and Saturday morning. Enjoy the most glorious vistas from Saint-Tropez’s 17th century citadel and maritime museum. Boat trips are another superb way to tour this part of the coast and passenger ferries cross the bay.
Just south of the town, follow Brigitte Bardot’s footsteps as you visit one of Plage de Pampelonne’s exclusive beach clubs, the most famous being Le Club 55 (always book well in advance). Stretching over 5km, Pampelonne’s long sandy beach is also loved for its vast range of summer watersports including jet-skiing, windsurfing and paddleboarding.
The picture-perfect villages of Saint-Tropez bay are beautifully located to make the most of the French Riviera scenery. On the hillside overlooking Plage de Pampelonne, Ramatuelle has attracted artists and writers over the years and is full of charm – look out for performances during its theatre and jazz festivals in the summer months. Meanwhile, hilltop Gassin is classified as one of France’s 'Plus Beaux Villages’ whilst flower-filled Grimaud is such a pretty medieval village with yet more stunning views of the coast.
Driving into the Maures hills, discover the characterful villages of La Garde-Freinet and Le Plan-de-la-Tour surrounded by oak and chestnut forests, a paradise for hikers, mountain bikers, horse-riding enthusiasts and other outdoor adventurists.
Back to the coast, take a boat tour of Port Grimaud, known as the ‘little Venice of the Côte d’Azur’, and experience its atmospheric Monday evening summer market. Across the other side of the bay, Sainte-Maxime is a lovely sheltered seaside town with pretty cafes, a daily market and gorgeous beaches. Families adore this area – there are tree-top adventures, tennis, mini-golf, a water park and coastal paths for biking and hiking.
Golf-lovers can appreciate a choice of courses – Golf Blue Green as well as the prestigious Beauvallon Golf Club and Golf Club Saint-Tropez. Wine connoisseurs should head to the wine châteaux of Saint-Tropez and Pampelonne as well as the vineyards of La Croix Valmer.
Not forgetting the idyllic shores of soft sand and crystal-clear sea of La Croix Valmer’s coastline from Plage de Sylvabelle to Plage de Gigaro, also home to a wonderful coastal walking trail with the most incredible flora and fauna alongside sensational views of the Mediterranean as you hike towards Cap Lardier and beyond.

Plage de Pampelonne is one of France’s most famous beaches, loved for its 5km long sandy shores, vast range of watersports and exclusive beach clubs (some with age restrictions) and restaurants.
For a change of scene, take the ferry across to Sainte-Maxime for more lovely bays and water-based activities or stop off in Port Grimaud to tour the little canals with colourful houses by boat. Just outside Sainte-Maxime is Aqualand and a tree-top activity centre with mini-golf.
There are further family attractions in the area between Grimaud and Saint-Tropez including a go-karting track, more mini-golf at La Palmeraie, another tree-top activity centre and Azur Park for fairground rides on summer evenings.
