Overview

Exclusive Recommended Pool Villa/House Walk to Village Parking Space

In the hills of the Côte d'Azur hinterland set above the village of Tourrettes-sur-Loup, this charming French house has a gorgeous swimming pool and terraces with far-reaching views – on clear days you can even see as far as the Mediterranean.

Villa La Nicoise is a welcoming home for your holiday in the south of France. It sleeps up to 6 guests and an additional 2 children across its four bedrooms and three bathrooms. Décor is simple yet attractive with traditional tiled floors and large windows alongside a blend of modern and rustic touches. The open-plan living-dining area and small kitchen is an especially inviting space for a family or small group of friends to spend quality time together.

Pretty French windows open out to the main terrace for outdoor dining and relaxation. Sit back in the outdoor lounge accompanied by the aroma of Mediterranean herbs and gaze at the glorious landscapes. Steps lead down to the swimming pool for more fun times in such pleasant surroundings.

Follow the lane down the hill passing neighbouring houses and you will reach Tourrettes-sur-Loup in around 20 minutes (or it’s a short 1.5km drive). The village is a truly enchanting place to explore with its narrow lanes, art studios, restaurants and stunning views from its perched position. Tourrettes-sur-Loup is loved for its historic character, surrounding natural beauty and violet production.

There are so many gems of the French Riviera hinterland to explore. Artistic Vence, St Paul de Vence and the highly regarded Fondation Maeght are easily reached by car or you could be wandering along Cagnes-sur-Mer’s seaside promenade in less than half an hour. Stop off for a spot of shopping en route at Polygone Riviera, then follow Renoir’s footsteps in Cagnes-sur-Mer’s historic old town.

Experience the perfume studios of Grasse, the historic market in Valbonne and the art galleries of Mougins. That said, you may prefer to spend the day simply enjoying lingering lunches and the finest French cuisine accompanied by a glass of chilled rosé in Nice, Antibes, Juan-les-Pins or even Cannes.

  • Recommended!

    on 20/07/2024

Upon arrival the house welcomed us, surrounded by greenery and blue skies, with the pool below inviting us to relax. Splendid view of the sea and Antibes with the mountains behind. Nice clean and welcoming mansion with terraces all around. The interior is very well designed, tasteful decoration, practical and harmonious. Very good bedding, all immaculate with bathroom and shower ensuite. Relaxing stay, pleasant, bright, recommended.

  • Full of charme

    on 06/07/2024

Full of charm, quiet and secluded. Our stay was accompanied by the birds singing from morning to evening and fireflies after dark. A very functional home, tastefully decorated.

  • Fantastic holiday

    on 30/06/2024

We had a fantastic week. The villa is delightful - so quiet and restful as well as being so conveniently situated. We loved the style of the Villa and it was so well equipped with everything we needed. We enjoyed the pool and all the outdoor facilities - a brilliant find. We hope to be back one day. Thanks again - excellent service throughout!

  • Beautiful house

    on 22/06/2024

We have very much enjoyed our one week in Villa la Nicoise. We loved the charming and beautiful house, thank you very much for arranging this stay for us!

  • A fantastic stay

    on 03/06/2024

We had a fantastic stay at La Nicoise. The property and gardens are lovely. The options to sit in shade or sun were appreciated, and the pool was lovely! Thank you for arranging at such short notice, we really did have a lovely time there and would recommend the property and your services!

  • Lovely renovated house

    on 25/05/2024

Lovely renovated house located in a quiet residential area. In 15 mins we reached the village on foot, it takes a little more time to go up. The village is really beautiful with its small steep streets, there are food shops and shops more typical of the region. The cities of Nice and Cannes are quickly accessible by motorway. The house is spacious and tastefully decorated. There is perfect equipment with everything you need for a peaceful holiday. Meals can be taken in several places, inside or outside on the various terraces or near the swimming pool. A nice teak terrace has been arranged around the pool with designer furniture to spend good moments with family or friends. Unfortunately for us, the weather was not good and we could not fully enjoy the outdoor facilities and the pool! It is with great pleasure that we will return to spend another stay at Villa La Nicoise and in this beautiful region!

  • Fantastic!

    on 15/09/2023

We had a fantastic time! The setting is spectacular. We loved being in the hills. And we loved the village of Tourrettes-sur-Loup, which is a short walk or drive down the hill. The house itself was perfect for us. Not big or fancy, but very nicely appointed and outfitted with wonderful big windows that open fully to allow the breezes to fill the indoors. We spent most of our time at the house outdoors, enjoying the many places to relax for discussion or privacy to read a book, surrounded by lovely gardens and the sounds of the birds. The pool but proved to be very refreshing and a really nice feature. The amenities were perfect for us. Small, simple kitchen, which was all that we needed. All of the appliances (coffee maker, toaster, etc) worked well. The recommendations in the letters were very helpful.Of the places noted in the letter, we tried several, including Clovis, Les Bacchanales, Restaurant La Farigoule. All were terrific, with Les Bacchaneles being truly unique. In addition, we were very happy with a relatively newer restaurant in the Village named Cinq.

  • Great holiday

    on 05/09/2023

We have had a great holiday and my French has improved tremendously! Villa La Nicoise is fantastic, everything we hoped it would be. It is very well equiped and comfortable, and the pool and garden are very well maintained. The caretaker was fantastic and very professional in meeting us, explaining and showing us the house and equipment and seeing us off when we left. We loved Tourrettes- Sur-Loup and the whole area around about. A great family holiday with lovely memories. We would love to do it again!

  • Ideal for families

    on 28/08/2023

A beautiful house overlooking the coast, quiet, well equipped especially ideal for families with children. We very much enjoyed our stay at the villa in August. A very well maintained house, ideally located not far from Tourrettes and Vence. We would love to come again!

  • Wonderful

    on 22/08/2023

We had a wonderful stay at Villa La Nicoise in July celebrating my mother in law’s 70th birthday. It is in a really beautiful and tranquil setting but still very close to the lovely town of Tourette sur Loup with it’s charming shops and restaurants. The pool is great with lots of sun loungers and there is plenty of dining/seating areas outside the villa overlooking Nice and the sea. My 11 year old daughter really enjoyed the table tennis and trampoline. The villa has everything you need with the kitchen being well supplied and also plenty of towels and linen. The ownerwas very helpful before we arrived and gave me lots of recommendations of activities for children nearby – the water canyoning is a must! The caretaker who looks after the villa was incredibly helpful when it was very hot and provided us with fans. My daughter then managed to leave her kindle behind and they kindly posted it back to us in the UK. A truly amazing holiday and fantastic hosts, thanks so much!

  • Lovely views

    on 27/07/2023

Very pleasant house, well maintained and well equipped, just as described. Great for kids with a nice pool, trampoline, table tennis and games. The house is set on the hills just outside the medieval village and has lovely views from the terrace, all the way to the coast.

  • A wonderful stay

    on 10/06/2023

Thank you for such a wonderful stay, we had a fantastic week! Tourettes-sur-loup is a very pretty town, delicious croissants every morning. We loved our trip to the caves near Grasse and the island St. Marguerite. The swimming pool was used daily and very much enjoyed! Merci beaucoup!

  • This is definitely one of the best places we've ever stayed

    on 27/05/2023

This is definitely one of the best places we've ever stayed - a wonderful house and amenities - pool, table tennis, trampoline. It was a perfect place for exploring the region - visiting St. Honorat, parasailing at Juan Les Pins, the Oceanographic Museum at Monaco, as well as the beautiful towns of St. Pal de Vence and (of course!) Tourettes. Special thanks to the caretaker for making our stay so enjoyable! Looking forward to coming back again soon!
