Discover the allure of Normandy with a stay at this sweet holiday home in Agon-Coutainville. Situated next to the sea, the location of this property is a great location for both the beach and the town. A short drive will lead you to the beach, where the rhythmic waves and sandy shores create a relaxed retreat. The town itself beckons exploration, boasting local markets brimming with fresh produce and charming cafes serving delicious treats.

Go for a walk up to the Pointe d'Agon where you will be able to see for miles around. This lighthouse has been a guiding light since 1856 and is a really beautiful spot to watch the sunset. The whole area is protected by the coastal conservatory, meaning it's a great place for bird watching, and the beaches are pristine.

The nearby town of Coutances (9km) boasts an impressive Cathedral - Cathédrale Notre-Dame de Coutances. This amazing, gothic style building is over 1000 years old and is definitely a must see. Be sure to also visit the botanical gardens whilst you're there, these are located next to the Cathedral. They are a sight to behold in the spring and summer and date back to the 17th Century.

For those fashion lovers, a little further afield in Granville (35km), lies the Christian Dior Museum. This stunning, pink building, located on a cliff ridge, is the childhood home of Christian Dior. It's a very intimate museum, and every year he presents an exhibition of Haute Couture models designed by himself and his successors. We highly recommend a visit!
