Nestled in the prestigious village of Saint-Germain-des-Pres, this stunning three-bedroom property and former residence of Cardinal Guillaume-Egon de Furstemberg is an elegant and luxurious Parisian home designed to delight and enthral. Accommodating up to six guests and featuring breathtakingly beautiful design features, this incredible property promises a relaxing and comfortable stay to remember. The interior showcases a rich and opulent decor throughout, awash with luxurious cream and gold tones accented by deep jewelled shades. The property’s lounge has majestically high ceilings, and is home to a stately library, elegant marble fireplace, Cosmatesque chess table and sumptuous seating - the perfect place for relaxing with friends, reading, or enjoying after-dinner drinks and hearty conversation. Modern touches incorporated into this exquisite space include a 72in TV (with Netflix) and a Bose sound system for your entertainment, and there’s also a selection of board games available for guests who enjoy quieter (or more competitive!) pursuits.
Maison Adrienne features a separate dining/meeting room; a large space perfect for gathering and enjoying a good meal and featuring a large round table that accommodates up to nine diners. There’s also a 55-inch TV (also with Netflix) in this room - a great addition if you want to keep younger kids amused while you eat or clear away. Busy breakfasts and hearty evening meals can be rustled up courtesy of the house’s spacious and well-equipped kitchen, which features everything you’ll need to cater to you and your guests during your stay. Top-quality appliances include an oven and four-burner hob, fridge-freezer, microwave, kettle, toaster, coffee machine and dishwasher. Part of the kitchen area serves as an elegant bar area, complete with bar stools and a state-of-the-art sound system; it’s the ideal spot for sitting and keeping the cook company, or for enjoying a well-earned nightcap.
Every inch of the property oozes luxury, and the bedrooms are no exception. Resplendent in plush velvets, oak panelling and sparkling crystal, each room is a haven of opulent tranquillity. The master bedroom features a king size bed (that can be converted into two singles), a sofa bed and a 55in TV (with Netflix). This sumptuous suite benefits from an adjoining bathroom, which is thoroughly modern and stylish in design and has both a bathtub and shower facilities. The other two bedrooms are equally elegant, both featuring double beds, flatscreen TVs and ensuite shower facilities.
It is perhaps Maison Adrienne’s luxurious ‘Alcoves of Wellness’ that truly make this stunning property a force to be reckoned with. A short flight of stairs leads guests to a dazzling spa area, where you can enjoy a dip in the Roman pool or a cleansing steam in the hammam, and a well-equipped fitness room, complete with treadmills and weight-training equipment. The third and final wellness space consists of a beauty room, where you’ll find a relaxing massage table, shampoo station and high-end grooming and beauty appliances for the ultimate ‘me-time’ experience.

Location
About the surrounding area of Maison AdrienneMaison Adrienne is located in Saint-Germain-des-Pres, a village-like district situated in the centre of Paris. Attracting visitors from all over the world for centuries, this stunning region offers an exciting mix of culture and heritage, with plenty to explore. Not to be missed during your stay is the Eglise Saint-Germain-des-Pres, the oldest abbey in Paris, dating back to 543. In the 19th century the building became a church and was renovated to include magnificent frescoes and paintings. Not far from here you’ll discover the literary cafes of Les Deux Magots, Cafe de Flore and Brasserie Lipp, which were regular meeting spots for members of Paris’ literary and artistic crowd during the 20th century. Writers, painters, sculptors, and musicians including Jean-Paul Sarte, Pablo Picasso, Albert Camus and Simone de Beauvoir came here to work and converse and to find inspiration - and perhaps you will too as you soak up the glorious Parisian atmosphere! A short stroll further along the boulevard will reveal some of the city’s most celebrated fashion boutiques - including Dior, Ralph Lauren, and Armani - as well as shops selling French fragrances and fine, artisan chocolates.
A popular attraction here that might be familiar to you is the Pont des Arts, a beautiful cast iron footbridge that spans the Seine and leads to the Louvre Museum across the water. Immortalised over the years by photographers and filmmakers alike, it is the place to visit if you’re looking to enjoy a relaxed and laid-back atmosphere - particularly in the summer - when waterside picnics are the order of the day. Once known as the bridge for lovers, couples would once leave a lock attached to the railings as a symbol of love, although this practice was banned in 2015 after it threatened the structure of the bridge.
Paris and fine-food goes hand-in-hand, and you’ll find no shortage of amazing places to eat while you’re in Saint-Germain-de-Pres, including the iconic Procope, which has been serving up traditional French cuisine since 1686, and Emporio Armani Ristorante, where you can enjoy Michelin star Italian food in chic and luxurious surroundings. After dark the neighbourhood comes alive, with many bars and bistros serving into the early hours. If it’s craft cocktails and an impressive gin selection you’re after, be sure to visit Tiger or Prescription Cocktail Club, where you can enjoy prohibition-style cocktails in a low-lit, speakeasy-style environment.

Not forgetting the many markets from the twice-weekly Bastille Market selling delicious food to the sprawling weekend flea market at Marché aux Puces de St-Ouen that dates back to the late 19th century.
Embrace the romantic ambience of Paris when you walk by the river on La Rive Droite with beautiful views as you pass Île Saint-Louis and Île de la Cité. It’s especially lovely as evening nears with vibrant bars by the riverside whilst children will love the play areas and climbing walls as you stroll. Look out for the Eiffel Tower in the far distance which sparkles so magically on the hour from dusk.

Perfect getaway
I stayed at Maison Adrienne for a romantic weekend, we were won over by the location. We were able to take advantage of the many walks around and rest at the end of the day in the relaxation area. The swimming pool is an asset, as is the gym which allowed us to keep in shape.
I will be back again with friends! -
Luxurious and secluded home in the heart of St-Germain-des-Pres
Maison Adrienne was the perfect home for our stay in Paris. Convenient to cafes, restaurants and shops, and well appointed with everything you could want, whilst offering the privacy and seclusion we sought, in the heart of St-Germain-des-Pres. Staff were amazing and went out of their way to help. The hammam was beautiful and enjoyed by all.
