A short stroll from the little village of Paradou, this charming villa offers a welcoming getaway with its attractive interiors and fantastic swimming pool. In the heart of Les Alpilles Natural Regional Park, this is a great location for exploring this enchanting part of Provence.
Whether relaxing in the cosy lounge or enjoying meals in the open-plan dining area, every detail has been designed to create a memorable escape. The villa includes a fully equipped kitchen with a great range of appliances, including a large fridge, dishwasher and Nespresso machine.
Sleeping up to 6 guests, Maison de Terre boasts three pretty bedrooms upstairs, each with a queen-size bed, air-conditioning and en suite bathrooms (one with a bath, the other two with a shower).
Step outside, and you’ll find your very own swimming pool alongside a poolside terrace for soaking up the sun. The generous grounds feature fruit and olive trees as well as a covered terrace perfect for al-fresco lunches or evening meals on warm summer evenings.
Paradou is a lovely village to potter around with its tree-lined streets, bakery, grocery store and charming restaurants including Le Bistro du Paradou, so loved by Rick Stein and other famous chefs.
Venture into Les Alpilles to discover scenic hiking trails, olive groves and the historic villages and towns such as Les Baux-de-Provence and Saint-Rémy-de-Provence. Whether cycling past olive groves or visiting historic sites, this captivating corner of Provence offers endless opportunities for relaxation and adventure.

Paradou is a picturesque village that promises an authentic taste of French charm and tranquillity. This hidden gem is a haven for travellers seeking a traditional escape, where cobblestone streets, sun-drenched landscapes and centuries-old stone houses create an idyllic setting. The village is home to the highly regarded Le Bistrot du Paradou – book ahead to enjoy the changing daily menu.
There are further restaurants and inviting shops in Maussane-les-Alpilles, just 2km away. This bustling village is famed for producing some of the finest extra virgin olive oil in France – pick some up at Maussane’s weekly market on the main square on a Thursday morning.
