This traditional family home with air-conditioning sleeps up to six guests across three double en suite bedrooms, one of which is on the ground floor. We especially love the master double upstairs with its piano and very own terrace where you can catch a glimpse of those wonderful views accompanied by your morning coffee or evening apéritif.

The lounge offers lots of space and light with French windows opening out to the garden and a pretty arch leads through to the characterful kitchen-diner beneath the wooden beams. Dine al-fresco on the shaded terrace by the lavender as children play on the grass or make the most of the heated swimming pool, a joy for everyone on warm summer days.

Within a short drive is the heart of charming Saint-Rémy-de-Provence, home to art galleries, café terraces, restaurants and pretty shops as well as the Van Gogh art trail and the highly regarded Wednesday morning market which attracts visitors from across Provence.

Les Alpilles Regional Natural Park offers opportunities for long walks, cycling, horse-riding and rock-climbing across its beautiful and varied landscapes whilst gorgeous villages waiting to be explored include Les Baux-de-Provence, Eygalières and Maussane-les-Alpilles.

A little further afield across Provence, sample wine in the vineyards of the Rhône valley, be captivated by the perched villages of the Luberon and visit the UNESCO World Heritage sites of Avignon. Embrace the beauty of Fontaine-de-Vaucluse, canoe along the Sorgue River or simply take a ride on the Paul Cézanne carousel in Aix-en-Provence in this glorious part of southern France.

In southern France’s Bouches-du-Rhône department, Mas des Liquers is located in a semi-residential area just 2.5km from the heart of Saint-Rémy-de-Provence, a wonderful base for making the most of Les Alpilles Regional Natural Park.

Enjoy wandering around the historic quarter of Saint-Rémy with its pavement cafés, charming shops, art galleries and restaurants. The town is known for its associations with Vincent Van Gogh and you can visit Saint-Paul de Mausole where the Dutch artist spent much of his later life, close to the archaeological site of Glanum. The town’s Wednesday morning is a joy to experience as the old town is filled with traders selling seasonal fruit and vegetables as well as olives, charcuterie, herbs, lavender products and so much more.

Elsewhere across Les Alpilles, visit Les Baux-de-Provence, one of France’s ‘Plus Beaux Villages’ and enjoy a relaxing lunch out in Maussane-les-Alpilles, famed for its olive oil production. The surrounding landscapes of olive groves, farmland and woodland are ideal for walking, hiking, cycling and even rock-climbing in the low level mountains of this region.

Soak up the ambience of Eygalières on a Friday morning with its attractive market or potter around Paradou, a tiny village which is also home to the renowned restaurant, Le Bistrot du Paradou.

Avignon (23km) and its UNESCO World Heritage sites, is another great day out whilst the mesmerising scenery of the Luberon is also easily reached with picture-perfect perched villages such as Gordes, Ménerbes and Bonnieux under an hour away by car.

Make the most of the wonderful scenery of Les Alpilles with ample walking and cycling opportunities as well as horse-riding, pony trekking and even rock-climbing across the varied landscapes.

Young art lovers can learn all about Vincent Van Gogh as they follow the art trail across Saint-Rémy-de-Provence, ending at Saint-Paul de Mausole where the great artist spent the last days of his life. Little ones may prefer to simply let off steam at the brilliant playground at Place Joseph Mauron.

A little further afield, hire canoes or kayaks and sail along the Sorgue River, perhaps combined with a trip to the tree-top activity centre near Fontaine-de-Vaucluse.

Elsewhere, admire the caves at Grottes de Thouzon, splash about at Wave Island and enjoy a day ay Parc Spirou theme park, all located between Carpentras and Avignon. Animal lovers can visit the nearby farm, L'Arche de Méo, or venture south to the impressive and much larger Zoo Barben.

These terms and conditions may be amended from time to time.

Security deposit €3200 charged to client’s credit card as a pre-authorisation one month before arrival and refunded two weeks after departure, subject to full inspection.
Arrival time 5.00 p.m. Late arrivals after 9.00 p.m. may be charged a late arrival fee of €120.

End of stay cleaning included? Yes. However, guests are required to leave the accommodation clean, tidy and in the same condition as on their arrival. Any extra cleaning, laundry, maintenance and/or rubbish disposal required will be charged against the security deposit.
Minimum stay 7 nights. All other durations on request.
Changeover day Saturday. All other changeover days on request.
Pets welcome? On request only and with prior agreement with the owner.
Pool heating charge? Included. Please note that like all heated pools, pool heating and water temperature are reliant on weather and outside temperatures.
Pool opening dates? Please note that pool opening dates are subject to local weather conditions and pool maintenance requirements and that cooler months may not be suitable for swimming.
Insurance Guests are required to be in possession of a valid insurance policy, which covers them for civil liability as well as cancellations, personal belongings, public liability and any accidental damage caused during their stay. A copy of this policy may be requested by the owner before arrival.
Tax French Visitors Tax payable locally (typically costs €1-€10 per adult per night- please enquire if exact amount is required).
