Overview
Villa Lorette is characterised by its romance, charm and beautiful location. This elegant 19th century villa sits in the most sought-after location in the heart of Provence, just minutes away from the picturesque town centre of Brignoles. From the sun trap garden, guests can enjoy the sense of tranquillity that shrouds this pretty property. Villa Lorette’s convenient location grants easy access to everything you could need, from bar crawls and shopping therapy to lazy moments under the sun at the nearby beaches.
The moment you step inside the front door, the villa looks like the inside of an interior design magazine, with stylish, modern furnishings that complement the character of the building. Sleeping up to 15 guests across the house and adjoining cottage, there are six double bedrooms in the main villa (including two apartments with sofa beds on the upper floor) and a seventh bedroom and living space inside pretty Lorette Cottage included in the price.
Throughout the property, guests will find serene living spaces, perfect for spending time together as a group. Luscious views fill every window with an atmosphere of calm and relaxation, with the colours of the surrounding landscapes and garden flooding into each room. Antique furniture, terracotta tiles and rich colours on the walls bring a cosy and welcoming feel to these spacious rooms.
The ground floor offers the main entertaining space where the whole group can come together and spend quality time. There is a cosy living room and a large dining space. Guests can enjoy using the kitchenettes on the second floor and the extra living rooms, spending long evenings drinking local wine and making the most of time away from day to day lives.
As you wander across the terrace, it is hard to choose the best spot from which to enjoy the stunning views. You can take a dip in the private pool, whilst gazing out to large multi-hundred-year-old trees and extracts of Provençal shrubland. With a big al-fresco dining table positioned under the dabbled shade of the trees, dining outdoors is a must!

Location
About the surrounding area of Villa LoretteThis beautiful villa is located minutes from the historic centre of Brignoles, with all the day to day amenities you could need within a short walk. Whether you want to go out for a meal, a drink, head to the cinema or pick up some fresh food from the market, everything is on your doorstep. The former ruling Counts used to live here in a palace which now houses a regional museum. Exhibitions cover everything, from day-to-day life to the period in the 18th century when the town was chosen as a temporary home for the Parliament because of the plague. If you are in town on a Wednesday or a Saturday, then make time to peruse the bustling market stalls where you can purchase locally produced items such as olives, honey and peaches.
La Celle is another beautiful village to visit, around 2.5km away by car. This typical Provençal village is centred around agricultural life and the river Caramy which flows through, and is a peaceful place to visit. The main attraction is the imposing Abbey which was home to Benedictine nuns for 500 years; today, visitors can look around the recently restored buildings and the exhibitions as well as archaeological artefacts. Next door to the Abbey, there is a Michelin-star restaurant, the Hostellerie de l'Abbaye.
Although the villa is inland, it takes under an hour to get to the breath-taking coastline, which is dotted with plenty of beaches. One of the closest beaches is Plage de la Garonne which is 42km away and is a long sandy beach. If you do not mind travelling just a little further for a day trip, why not drive the extra 18km down to Port de la Tour Fondue and take a relaxing boat ride to the Golden Islands. There are three islands to visit, the largest being Porquerolles, a beautiful, protected island. Spend the day enjoying the unspoilt beaches and snorkelling in the clear water, or make the most of the brilliant hiking and cycling routes to explore more of the island. There are even restaurants on the islands, so you do not need to rush back for dinner.

Kids
Best Suited For: All AgesThis charming villa is a brilliant choice for families in Provence. With beautiful gardens, spacious interiors and a private pool, little ones will be in holiday heaven! There are suites within the villa, with kitchenettes and private lounges, perfect for a small family to share, as well as large social spaces where you can gather as a larger group. The outdoor space and gardens are ideal for family time together. Be it gathering around the private pool as kids play and splash about, or barbecuing and al-fresco dining under the evening sky, the space can truly accommodate you. With restaurants and shops a short walk away, you do not need to load kids in and out of cars, but rather enjoy the local amenities on your doorstep.
The Provence area has always been a much-loved holiday location for those with children, offering plenty of wide-open space for running and playing around, as well as having the coast and charming villages nearby.
8km from the villa, Gorges du Caramy offers a wonderful spot for a walk with the kids. There is a scenic route through woodland, past an old roman bridge and out onto the river Caramy with a beautiful series of small waterfalls and rapids. Children can bring nets or rods to try fishing or take a dip in the clear pools, perfect for cooling off on hot summer days.
For the young thrill-seekers among you, why not drive down to the seaside town of Fréjus, which is under an hour away (70km). The town has a waterpark with a range of slides and pools to suit all ages as well beaches and a fun fair open late in the evening.

An exceptional place!
We had an unforgettable time here with 14 people. The house is magnificent. Beautifully decorated, nothing is missing. Its total lack of privacy is a major asset in this neighbourhood. The swimming pool is magnificent, the bowling green is very pleasant and the shaded garden allows you to have lunch/dinner in complete peace and quiet. It's an exceptional place!

The house is even more beautiful in real life than in the photos. The location is perfect, the house is very well maintained, the bedding is comfortable, the garden and swimming pool are magnificent. Beautiful bastide located in the center of Brignoles. Very pleasant stay in the small adjoining house with views of the pool and the beautiful garden. The house is very tastefully decorated. Guillaume and his partner are welcoming and very friendly hosts.

Must-see stop
Exceptional, this house located in Brignoles is undoubtedly a must-see stop in green Provence. We had an unforgettable stay in this beautiful Provençal farmhouse. Seduced by the accommodation: a charming outbuilding with comfortable and well-equipped "bohemian chic" decor with air conditioning.
