After all that eating and drinking, feed your spirit in the award-winning Angsana Spa, a sanctuary for the senses, with eleven treatment rooms, five outdoor pavilions, and a yoga terrace. The spa uses only natural ingredients from fruits and flowers in traditional aromatherapy treatments that combine Asian wellness techniques with Greek philoxenia, the philosophy of generosity of spirit and kindness. For those who prefer swimming in the sea, there is a beach with its own Water Sports Centre.

The Island/Getting There

One of the largest and greenest of the Ionian Islands, Corfu is far more than its trademark blue-hued seas and sandy coastline. With its UNESCO World Heritage status and unbeatable strolling opportunities, there is no better place to start exploring than the main town and its historic old quarter, where ancient churches, scattered ruins and a handful of museums mean Corfu’s layers of history can be found just about everywhere. And if you’re in need of a cosy abode, take a look at our flawless villas in Corfu.

How to reach Corfu island

There are two ways to get to Corfu island: either by flight or by ferry.

By plane: During April to October, several direct flights arrive to "Ioannis Kapodistrias" Airport from Europe as Corfu is one of the most popular travel destinations in Greece. During these months, the airport also receives many domestic flights every day from Athens and Thessaloniki.

By ferry: Travelling by ferry is the most popular way of transport in Greece. Ferries to Corfu depart from Patra and Igoumenitsa. If you are travelling from Europe, Corfu is easily accessible by ferry from Venice, Bari, Brindisi or Ancona too. You can easily book your tickets using the link below or the search engine - the port you are looking for is "TBC".

Best Suited For: All Ages
Ideal for Kids Ideal for Teens

There’s lots to keep your children entertained both in and outside the Angsana Resort. On those cooler days and evenings, the villa’s own flatscreen tv, multi-media system, and Bluetooth connectivity will keep your kids occupied with all the latest films and games. There are no restricted hours for some fun in the sun when it’s in your own private pool, or get them swimming some lengths in the resort’s large infinity pool, indoor pool, and children’s pool. There is also the option of swimming lessons, water games, and scheduled supervised fun in the pool activities. Angsana Resort offers a Rangers Kid’s Club for your four to eleven year olds, with plenty of planned activities from professional educators and entertainers, including painting, arts and crafts, sports games, and free play, all in their own dedicated clubhouse. The resort also offers off-site activities including the opportunity for boating, biking and nature walks. The resort has its own sandy beach with easy access into the calm shallow waters of the Ionian Sea, with an onsite Watersport’s Club.

A short drive away there is the Aqualand Corfu Water Park, where they can slip down slides, splash in pools, jump in the jacuzzi, and play video games. In the Corfu Aquarium spot fifty species of the local fish residing in crystal clear waters and secret caves. For the more adventurous don your walking boots and go Radar Hiking where you can discover, just like Gerald Durrell, author of My Family and Other Animals, the flora and fauna of the island. If you don’t fancy walking, take a Jeep or Quad Bike Safari across off-road terrain, and stop at authentic villages, where you can learn about Corfu culture and traditions. All aboard the daily boats from Benitses Bay, just a kilometre from the villa, superb for a swim and snorkel in the sea, and a barbeque on board. Why not charter your very own private yacht for a family fun lazy day at sea, just ask the on-site concierge, and they’ll arrange it all for you.

Take the kids to Corfu town, where they can climb ancient fortifications, explore Byzantine and Venetian castles, stroll through the public gardens, listen to bands at the music pavilion, and play cricket on the English pitch in the old square. Visit many of the museums, including the unique Banknote Museum, displaying Greek money from coins to the Euro, and the Doll Museum in the Casa Palante, which brings traditional Corfu society to life. And if all that gets too tiring, hop aboard the city bus tour for a sample of all the major sites and sights!

  • Stunning!

    on 14/09/2022

Stunning villa - facilities are amazing - the pool, the hammam and jacuzzi, the rooms! The staff are fantastic as well, so helpful and friendly. Love the way they bring you water when you’re at the pool/beach - very nice touch and also kept the water topped up in your room too. Tip - if you can’t get a sunbed at the pool then go to the beach, it’s stunning and the shuttle bus is really frequent!
