Kids
Best Suited For: All AgesThere’s lots to keep your children entertained both in and outside the Angsana Resort. On those cooler days and evenings, the villa’s own flatscreen tv, multi-media system, and Bluetooth connectivity will keep your kids occupied with all the latest films and games. There are no restricted hours for some fun in the sun when it’s in your own private pool, or get them swimming some lengths in the resort’s large infinity pool, indoor pool, and children’s pool. There is also the option of swimming lessons, water games, and scheduled supervised fun in the pool activities. Angsana Resort offers a Rangers Kid’s Club for your four to eleven year olds, with plenty of planned activities from professional educators and entertainers, including painting, arts and crafts, sports games, and free play, all in their own dedicated clubhouse. The resort also offers off-site activities including the opportunity for boating, biking and nature walks. The resort has its own sandy beach with easy access into the calm shallow waters of the Ionian Sea, with an onsite Watersport’s Club.
A short drive away there is the Aqualand Corfu Water Park, where they can slip down slides, splash in pools, jump in the jacuzzi, and play video games. In the Corfu Aquarium spot fifty species of the local fish residing in crystal clear waters and secret caves. For the more adventurous don your walking boots and go Radar Hiking where you can discover, just like Gerald Durrell, author of My Family and Other Animals, the flora and fauna of the island. If you don’t fancy walking, take a Jeep or Quad Bike Safari across off-road terrain, and stop at authentic villages, where you can learn about Corfu culture and traditions. All aboard the daily boats from Benitses Bay, just a kilometre from the villa, superb for a swim and snorkel in the sea, and a barbeque on board. Why not charter your very own private yacht for a family fun lazy day at sea, just ask the on-site concierge, and they’ll arrange it all for you.
Take the kids to Corfu town, where they can climb ancient fortifications, explore Byzantine and Venetian castles, stroll through the public gardens, listen to bands at the music pavilion, and play cricket on the English pitch in the old square. Visit many of the museums, including the unique Banknote Museum, displaying Greek money from coins to the Euro, and the Doll Museum in the Casa Palante, which brings traditional Corfu society to life. And if all that gets too tiring, hop aboard the city bus tour for a sample of all the major sites and sights!
